Hello bro.

So I got a gear master to check the wiring on the transmission.

According to him, the brain box had been changed and the wiring wasn't done well. That was the cause of the P0717 error code.

So he fixed it and the error code has disappeared.

But the only problem I have is the gear not still entering 4.

When I'm on 100 km/hr, the RPM gets at high as 4000 and doesn't shift to the last gear which makes the revving sound so high.

What do you think the problem could be?

If it can start the car, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to put your trans in drive and move.

It's akin to having push to start installed.

It was probably installed by previous owner to enable him warm the vehicle interior or cool it down before getting in the vehicle.

My 2008 Acura MDX engine starts when I press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds. Then it has another remote/fob that performs the same function (starts and off the engine) when I press and hold the number 2 button; the button above the unlock button (picture attached). Can I engage the transmission and drive the box this way? I haven't tried it , just curious.

Good day bro. I drive an acura tsx 2008 model. I have this check engine light on. I have scanned with my Bluetooth scanner but it tells me no OBD fault found. I have an increased fuel consumption.
I proceeded to do a smog check and I am seeing a pending code there but it has refused to show me the pending code. I want to share the result of the smog check. I pray you and other technicians in the house can tell me how to go about tackling it from there.

Good day bro, My mum's 2007 corolla has been serviced by her mechanic with 20w-50 for over 5 years. Recently the low oil pressure light came on. He said he has cleaned the oil filter under the engine, changed the oil light switch, cleaned the engine of sludge and tried about three different oil pumps (1 brand new and 2 tokunbo) yet the light has refused to go off. Thank you, I just meet up with a technician and we realized the fuel pump used was even manipulated. It’s not for the car itself. So I’m changing it alongside some components. Hopefully it works out.

I had an alternator changed on my nissan quest 2008 base model yesterday and after installing,car suddenly refused to start,.when key is turned to the on position,dashboard light comes on,with the fan blowing and head light on,when they tried to crank,nothing happens..they have no idea what is wrong.this was suppose to be a simple alternator change.please help me out here boss..
