AF sensor is a pre-catalytic sensor which monitors and control fuel trim. O2 sensor is a post catalytic sensor which reports the state of health of the catalytic converter. Both sensors are on the exhaust manifold before and aft of the catalytic converter.

Your car has pressure control solenoid B performance meaning there is an issue in your transmission. This may cause shift issues bucking harsh shifting, loss of power etc during motion. However, I do not know the state of your engine’s health.
The O2 and AF sensors codes are come other codes you need to address too.

It all depends on you, how you go about this is between you and your technician.

Hi all, please I saw a 2013 Camry SE V6 but the only issue is that the car has a faulty ABS, and I was told by the seller that faulty ABS affects the transmission system.

I can buy it and install a new sensor, but please I want to know if it’s a good buy, or does it mean the gearbox would have suffered a damage as well?

A faulty ABS sensor may NOT destroy a transmission in Japanese cars. But may cause brake lockup during emergency braking which may result in a crash.

It was scanned severally and we follow d result of d scan until it stop showing any error from d scanner but d problem persist. I took it to 4 different mechanic workshops and none could fix it until Rewire suggested we change brainbox. It was removing a very thick black smoke at one stage and won’t drive. Once u start d car and put it in drive it will go off. But we changed d brainbox d smoke has stopped

The only code I could remember was P2196

The Brainbox used, is it exact part number as the original one from your car?

Hello sir, I serviced my honda civic 2007 last week, the next day after servicingI noticed the car won't start once. Like I have to try like 2-3 times before it start which was never the case before servicing.

Secondly while driving sometimes VSA triangle and check engin light will pops up and the car jerks a little bit. Thoughit does not happen frequently, but I have not experience this before servicing the car. Once the VSA light pops up, I usually park my car and turn the engine off and on and the light will be cleared. Also I remove the battery terminals to clear the check engine light. And the car will become normal again.

After getting repeated issues I took the car back to the mechanic that serviced it, they scan the car and no problem was found. The mechanic said it probably might be bad fuel

Though I don't experience that starting 2-3 times before the car start again. But the VSA and check engine light still triggers once a while.

Pls what could possibly be the fault becauseI serviced the car from the same mechanic on January and I didn't experience any of this. Last week was my second servicing of the car this year and I am experiencing this problems

There are different types of 13pin.

1. U250E-2AZ
2. U151E FW
3. U151F AWD

The part sellers knows this hence the reason they’ll first ask if it’s V6 or 4 cylinder, AWD or 2 wheel drive. They may not know the actual transmission name (U660 or U250) but from the drive train type and accompanying engine they know. Then there’s also the difference in bell housing shape (agbada or casing) and bolt location.

There is a leak which caused the refrigerant to escape, some fuse or relays controlling the AC system are blown out or the compressor is bad.

Note. These are possible scenarios and not from actual test carried out on your car.

Good evening Sir. I really need your help. I use EOD, 2003. The gear disengages when I'm driving (stops working). I have to shift to neutral and start the car again for the gear to work. It happens often. My electrician disconnected my TPS, the gear stopped failing, but doesn't change smoothly. I bought a new gear and TPS, still the same issue. I really need your help. Thanks.

The issue was that my RPM usually goes up and down on its own even when d car is on P(Park). It will just be fluctuating on its own. I changed all coil and plug, clean throttle mouth and fuel injector, changed fuel pump but nothing work until when d brainbox was changed yesterday
I drove it today and it seems d car is moving normal until this evening when I noticed the rpm is rising again. Pls what could be the cause and permanent solution?

Did you scan the car and carry other diagnosis/tests before changing ALL these parts?
What if it was air that was leaking from some vacuum lines or the intake?

Note: these are possible scenarios and not from actual tests carried out on your car.

Forget Jiji, most traders don’t have time to advertise on Jiji, na scammers and Baranda boys Dey run advert to defraud unsuspecting people to run them streets.
As for the price, I replaced a U151F (13pin) in not too long ago for a rav4 v6 in Abuja, the price was above 650k. However, I cannot speak on behalf of others.

how can a failed radiator affect gearbox.

Auto transmission radiator has an integrated transmission cooler/warmer and when these integrated transmission cooler fail, radiator coolant may find their way into the transmission and ruin it.
A lot of Nissan Xterra, pathfinder, navara etc with the 4.0 v6 are known to have these issues.

My Camry 03 smokes heavily and the engine compression is very low, I had to park the car since last week at home. My mechanic said I should bring 150k to open the engine and check the crankshaft, rings and top cylinder, which im very doubtful.
Today I scanned the car and got error codes P0303 P0304 and P0300.

If your mechanic can get genuine engine rebuild parts and is skilled in rebuilding engines, then you may go ahead, if not, pls buy another tokunbo engine.
As for location, I don’t know anyone in Ago palace Okota.

Pls @Kingreign my corolla 06 shows scancode p0420, p2401, p2402 evaporative emission system leak detect pump control circuit high. Am also having issues with once kick start. I've change the cold start switch, serviced nozzle, changed fuel pump but still the same issues. The car takes up to 10seconds to start when I turn ignition.

For P2401 and P2402, replace your EVAP charcoal cannister. It’s under the car by the Torsten beam.
As for P0420, your catalytic converter or exhaust manifold or O2 sensor needs to be checked.
For the delayed start, a lot of things may be causing it. You need to visit your mechanic or electrician to check and narrow down to the fault and then fix it.
