They’ll not open the engine. Wha mr they’ll do is to take off the intake and the knock sensor is in the belly of the V. I suspect rodent infestation. However, pls scan that car engine and transmission then post codes.

My foreign used es330 recently started doing hard starting. I will turn the key up to 4 times before it starts. Sometimes it starts at a single key turn. Sometimes at 2 or more key turns.

It doesn't happen only in the mornings. But once it starts, it starts easily at the first key turn.

I also noticed if I rev the car at gear one, it moves slowly before changing to the second gear and then it moves well after that.

I haven't repaired anything in the car except change oil and clean the air filter.

What could be the problem?

I think it is electronic. It has sensor. I complained to the mechanic again and he is saying we will replace the fuel pump. I just don't want to buy a fuel pump and at the end the result is the same. I will be furius

Replace throttle pedal with a tokunbo unit complete with the sensor.

Just changed my Camry 2011 AC Compressor to Tokunbo Manual Compressor , few hours ago.The belt was changed too. But I started noticing funny sounds coming from the AC vent. But the AC is very chilling..

Could this be, that the compressor is not a good one or it was replaced with something different from the initial one, that’s not compatible with the car ?

I hate hearing funny and uncomfortable sounds from my car.. Kindly help out..

My 2005 Corolla sport doesn’t go past 90km/h even when you are on full throttle. Scanned it and the result had to do with throttle position error or so. The mechanic drained the gear box oil, serviced the filter and the throttle sensor and said it was okay. So I took it home. Driving it again yesterday I realized the car still doesn’t accelerate beyond 90km/h

What is the code saying?
Pls post it let’s advise you accordingly.

My AC has linkage and it was discovered that it was from the condenser.
3 options is opened to my by the technician:

1. Repair by welding it and flushing = 3k
2. Buy Belguim = 17k
3. Buy new one = 30k

Please from experience which you I go for.

My 2007 Toyota corolla, indicate bake on dashboard, but the brake is working properly, also the Noise from the Silencer is wider, ie louder, but i think this is due to the unavailable of the catalyst, but what could be the possible solution to make the Silencer more cool. Because the speedometer guage isn't up to zero, before acceleration and if I increase the slow, the Noice from the Silencer will increase higher again.

Have a panelbeater weld fix that broken exhaust.
As for your ‘brake’ warning light, check if your Brake fluid is up to level, check parking brake switch and check foot brake sensor.

Nothing has been changed in my car fuse region. I hav not even had any issues that will warrant anyone touching my fuses. And I am always present when my carvis worked on.

I will do as you asked and revert. I mentioned it to my my mechanic and the rewire there said it might be my kick. That I should monitor it further. I have not had a kick starter problem before and hence don't know the symptoms.

It’s not out of place to check your starter motor also.

Go and drive a Gle, park it, drive the Lexus, park it and drive the benz again then come back to edit your post.

The last time I checked, I probably have driven more GLE suvs and Coupes and RXs than you’d ever imagined.

Sorry I haven't reported back on this. I was able to do this with a colleagues multimeter yesterday. We set the dial at 20V. I did three out of all you listed here.

We tested the battery first of all with multimeter while the car was off. I got a reading of 12.70V.

Then I switched on the car and the multimeter gave a reading of 14.16V.

Then I switched on everything in the car. Headlamps, airconditioner, radio and the reading was 14.07V.

Your car running voltage normally should read between 13.2-14.8V so this rules out alternator. Have you checked your ELD (electronic load distribution) relay?

Also, whenever you can start your car, pls drive it for over 50km distance and scan.

Hope your car fuse or ecm has not been tampered with?

Former owner of my car use water. The worst part is the the car short water. Although he told me he top water every two days before I buy it. When I bought it brought out the radiator and notice it has been work severally. I thought there was not need working on it again. Let me just buy new one. But from my inquiries the price is very much at the moment. So I continue using the radiator and toping the water like that.

It's not easy toping water every now and than as one usually forgets. I took the radiator out to be work on. I know that will be the last work that will be done on the radiator before it would be replaced.

The guy assured me it will not leak of he tackles on the leaks.

When he finished I installed the radiator and filled with water. I am still observing if there would be leaks.

I was checking on coolant online but the price nor be here. Considering the leaking my rediator it wouldn't be wise.

If I can buy new radiator it would make more since but not with this one.

But if this radiator doesn't leak for now. Is it wise to use coolant?

Sell the motor buy radiator and coolant

No hyping what’s not needed. I’d take the RX, it’s no brainer, I’ve owned an RX330 for 6.5years and NO break down. Most lexus owners can attest to the quality of what they are driving.

Finally it boils down to preference, but saying a GLE will out do a lexus RX, I’d be forced to ask by what margins? Repair bills or what?

Thanks for the help but finally the problem was the fuel rail pressure sensor

if it were the fuel rail pressure sensor, it would had popped up a code related to that sensor.

In all, I’m glad your car has been fixed and it’s back on the road.
