Early this month, he wrote a letter to the embassy in Nigeria to invite me for my visa interview but they replied that there are no more special appointments for family members of DAAD scholars or EU blue card holders. But I've read here that DAAD helps to fast track family members appointments...So please is there something we didn't do right? Or would DAAD need to write to the embassy first?

Hello people, I am a daad scholar in Germany for 2yrs now, I recently got married 2 months ago and applied for reunion for my wife with all the necessary documents from daad, but unfortunately, the embassy has refused to grant an appointment date after several emails to them, the only reply I got from them was that waiting time is one year which is usually not the case for daad/ Humboldt scholars as they usually get appointment easily.. please I need advice.. thanks
