Business / Farming For Export by kiwibabe(f): 2:40pm On Apr 16, 2008 |
I am interested in finding out information about exporting different kinds of grains and seeds from Nigeria. I hope to in the near future set up a family runned farm for production of things like sunflower seeds, wheat & grains etc. Does anyone have any information about this type of production for example the rules and regulations/procedures of exporting these types of products from Nigeria to the rest of the world? Any information would be of great help. |

Business / Re: Dream Of Running A Broadcasting (Television) Station by kiwibabe(f): 3:10pm On Jan 04, 2008 |
I was interested in starting a television channel but in the UK not Nigeria. But I wanted it be be a nigerian channell, you know. Something like a movie channel. When I did some reserch it ran into millions of pounds. The main hurdle was not the money even though I have never seen that sort of money in my life.) It was more of the fact that I did not have any contacts in the nigerian movie industry in order for me to source my material. (Material content is the most important thing.) If anybody has any advice I would love to here it. |
Career / Re: Graduate Cv Without Work Experience/ How by kiwibabe(f): 7:54am On Apr 17, 2007 |
Even though you have no experience you can sell yourselves by including a page of your CV full of skills that you have acquired throughout maybe your study etc, you have definitely during some point of your life done a bit of team work etc, its just a question of thinking of good examples and portraying it as if you regularly use these skills and that you have learned from them. Its all about what you have and how you intend to use it. |

I think it is a good idea, he should put with the invitations a blank envelope for donotations then people can donate whatever they like. If you have all the worldly material possessions there's no point in accepting what they don't want. ;DYou can never have enough money |

Business / Re: Wanted: A Business Name by kiwibabe(f): 9:33am On Mar 10, 2007 |
Seun: I find that businesses that do well especially in the western world are companies that do not suggest the nature of their business, instead have catchy names that people remember such as the ones I listed in my first post, so when advertising with the images I decide to use and the catchy word(s) I use to promote my business I aim to stick in people's mind. Seun: Nigeria is not that bad, many other countries have been doing what Naija has been said to be associated with for a long time, its nothing new, its through our stupidity that we exposed ourselve's, our bad rep will soon pass with Gods grace in the near future. I want a name that relates to nigeria because I intend offering services to Nigerians (Africans) in nigeria and abroad. Not all that Naija stuff, something else, the only example I can think of is like radiopalmwine, you see palmwine reminds of of Nigeria. Seun: The nature of my business is offering tour and travel services to and from Nigeria and Africa. |
Business / Wanted: A Business Name by kiwibabe(f): 9:12am On Mar 10, 2007 |

Fashion / Re: Girls Are Dirty! True Or False? by kiwibabe(f): 12:08pm On Dec 14, 2006 |
I wold like to conclude that GIRLS and BOYS are equally as idrty as each other. I think it just depends on your up bringing. Some people I know I will never go near them even with a long stick when it comes to personal hygiene, and the way some people do things its disgusting like taking a bath for example, when I shower I have to use a proper (what do you call them nigerian sponges) to scrub my body cos otherwise I dont feel clean, a person that I know on the other hand uses just ordinary flannel, to me that is nasty, how would you be clean. Guy's just dont let me get started, they can harbour their boxers and sox for months under their bed, they can even where the same boxers that they have been wearing for one week to go and meet girls to do the business. You people don;t feel shame. And some girls in the kitchen, urrrgghhh how do you expect me to eat your food after I have seen how you prepared it. Let me leave it at that for now. |
Fashion / Re: What About Waist Beads? by kiwibabe(f): 11:46am On Dec 14, 2006 |
I used to wear waist beads until last year, until I noticed that I was u know tight below when it came to doing the business if you know what I mean, and the guy dey complain soo, thats when he started suggesting it had something to do with the beads, cos it only happened when I wore them. |
