From the state of the corpse , one can easily estimate the time of death.

How is the state of the wrappings ? If it's looking fresh and relatively unsoiled one can determine that the victim was killed and stored for days before being wrapped and moved to the dumping site.

Why did the killers choose the site ?

The killer(s) would have dumped that body in the dead of the night and moved it using a vehicle as it will be too risky in such a school environment to drag the body without being noticed by students and security alike.

That puts our perpetrator as some one who is mobile.

Did the killer(s) stay close or trying to throw the investigation towards the male hostel residents?

The body was dumped on the school premises. Unless the school is without a gate, then it doesn't make sense that she was killed outside and brought back inside. My bet is some of the boys. She was murdered inside somewhere, wrapped, and left in the room until nighttime, the body was then moved and disposed of in that gutter. It's not even hidden. I give the date of death the same day she went missing.

I'd interview the boys: to find out if any of the rooms recently washed their rooms.

If her body was dumped near the boy's hostel, then the boys in the school are most likely the culprits. If the body is severely decomposed, I'm afraid, they may not be able to ascertain the cause of death. It's someone who wrapped her up and dumped her body there a long time ago...
