Good morning guys. Alhamdulillah i have gotten a job.

I've embarked on a journey to land a position at prestigious institutions like CBN, NDIC, NPA, EFCC, NIMASA, NCC, and many other coveted agencies. Despite my efforts, securing a role in any of these esteemed organizations proved elusive. However, serendipity intervened, and I stumbled upon an opportunity at ABU Zaria, which I gratefully embraced.

This experience taught me the valuable lesson that sometimes, we overlook the potential of smaller agencies in our pursuit of grandeur.

To all those navigating the competitive terrain of job hunting, I extend my heartfelt wishes for success and fulfillment.

Cultivating resilience and perseverance in the face of challenges is paramount for every job seeker. It's crucial to maintain unwavering determination and keep exploring opportunities until the right door opens.

Each setback is not a defeat but rather a stepping stone towards eventual success. Alot is happening and I wonder why nobody is talking about it on nairaland . I heard a Senator gave out APLs to some people yesterday...

I pray God remember us all.. People refuse to drop information regarding recruitment, replacement & APL of agencies on this forum coz some people will argue blindly....

some will argue blindly.. like I just spoke with director HR and he said nothing is happening. I spoke with this and that.. and many will belief.
Another factor is competition.. this is a public forum. The moment you drop info for a particular agency, the agency will start receiving calls from various places that they heard something is happening.
Another factor is state of the nation. The distraction is too much.

If someone were earning 1.4 million a month and legs say he uses the remain 400k to sort his bills then invest 1 million monthly.

due to high cost of building materials.. you can get 1.5m annually because you can use 36m within that 3 years to build 2 bedrooms flats- 2 parts..maybe cost of rent to each will be 700 to 750k making it 1.4m to 1.5m.. maybe 7 to 8 years plan you can get that 5m. But for now the reality is 1.5m

Between a bank that pay 300k and FG job that pays 200k, which one is better

FG due to job security and long term goal. If u are a risk taker and you want to get money within a short time you can earn above 500k moving to another bank. But no job security

Should we assume, people don't want to drop information because of some persons that always attack them?

I remember those days that this page was lively.. Full with reliable information.. But reverse is the case now..

People are scarce to drop information coz of some guys that are ready to castigate... But they will never drop any information..

REASONS
1. Attack from people, tagging information as false.
2. Tagging people scammers
3. Competition: some feel revealing info such as replacements hampers their chances in such agencies.
4. Some greed: They want to get info but are not willing to share.
5. BUREAUCRACY OF GOVERNMENT- changes in information. what they want to do tomorrow might change at any time. that does not mean info the person is passing is false.

They are juicy place to be. sometimes what agencies pay are not a true reflection on what they actually earn. Some are on the same salary structures but earn more than their counterparts. e.g nobody will tell you that jamb usually pays 25k every month for data (webinar) some months 50k to their staff, supervision allowance and all that. Some agencies the basic is small but various allowances.
