Christianity EtcRe: Teacher Arrested In Sudan Over A Bear Named Muhammad. by klarry79: 5:32am On Nov 29, 2007
mr. olabowale

I want to ask you a question.

Is it true that the QURAN has instructions that its faithfuls should kill the infidels (especially Jews)?

If you meet an 'infidel' or 'Jew' will you kill him?

If you were the leader of a country would you for example Put a woman who has been gang-raped in jail
or put a school teacher 'empowering' little children make decisions and choices in jail.

Can you please tell me what they have been saying that shows that they have been criticizing you people? Once again , hope you do know that I was like you and your pastors are not left behind when it comes to issue of giving a dog a bad name in order to hang it.
mr babs787

Some of the comments I have had toput up with for the last 6 yrs include:
they say their God has a son, where is the mother
they say they have 3 Gods, there is only one God
Islam is the best religion and the only religion
they go on and on,

Islam is about the most radical and violent religion that we know of today and yet it screams peace.
Where is compassion, where is tolerance, where is peace, where is GRACE.
How many buddhists/hindus have you seen blowing up mosques,
How many Jews have blown up Germans, How many Christians have strapped bombs to themselves
and blown up bus loads of people, how about the chinese and japanese religions (we don't even hear them)
you guys know these things but cannot help it because you are all trapped in it.

as  human we will always be in conflict but how we manage our differences also show our humanity (tolerance is one way)
but for you guys that word is abhorred.

God help you.

My God that was a great video article. grin

I really don't know what to say but may God help the muslims.
they make trouble on every hue and cry.
the problem with them is their teaching; they are taught to hate and kill.
they really do not have any message apart from that.

I have a most near my house, for the 6yrs that I have been living there all they do at every one of their
"so-called prayer meetings'' is to castigate critisize christians and abuse or insult (and blaspheme) Christ.
they don't teach their members principles of good living, investments, health tips, personal development and character building topics
etc. all they do is preach hate.

their religion is somewhat retrogressive and they know it.
and rather than try to improve all we hear is all sorts of barbaric responses

they cannot change
CareerRe: Joining The Military: Solution To Unemployment? by klarry79: 5:46am On Nov 28, 2007
mr. Dotwaila

if you want to join the military go on the internet and read some war stories. then determine if you REALLY want to join the military.
the military is not an employment office. you don't apply and resign anyhow. Read war stories of folks who joined the military, fought for their countries and died in the cause then determine if you want to join the military.

if i get you right, i think if i were a recruiting officer i will not pick you because your motive is already wrong and compromised from the beginning. you are already a weak link in the chain and a potential liability.

PoliticsRe: MEND Threatens To Blow Up The 3rd Mainland Bridge by klarry79: 7:39am On Nov 27, 2007
A litle deviation!

If MEND or any of the militant groups cary out the threat or any of such anywhere in the country.
Can the Nigerian security system cope with such and handle such crises because they will have to
deal with the associated panic, chaos, breakdown of law and order, etc.

the point is that MEND even has the boldness to make such a threat shows the ineptitude of the security
agencies. I understand that there are challenges but please we have a higher expectation than what we are seeing.
Pls permit me to refer to 9-11. We saw a system that face a new and dangerous kind of challenge but within 6 -12 months
they had routed a major operational base of the militants. Is there no intelligence in the SSS or military that can
enable them take tactical measures against these threats?

Personally, I feel we have more to loose as a nation if these small but potent group caries out a strike and I have no faith in the ability of the security agencies to foil or prevent such.

A STRIKE ON 3RD MAINLAND BRIDGE WILL SIMPLY SHUTDOWN 3QTERS OF BUSINESS ON THE ISLAND.
PoliticsRe: Senate Rejects Transfer Of Bakassi To Cameroun by klarry79: 9:20pm On Nov 26, 2007
buluti

how true your comments are
i guess they want their share of the deal.
its not that we nigerians like war but we have to defend our territorial integrity no matter how irrellevant or 'unuseful' or insignificant it may seem.

nations and tribes go to war over land and we are doing father christmas with ours.

what else can we get wrong as a nation
PoliticsRe: Senate Rejects Transfer Of Bakassi To Cameroun by klarry79: 5:38pm On Nov 26, 2007
What is wrong with you all. The Ceding of Bakassi to Cameroun was one of the best things OBJ did. At least he showed that Africans can solve problems without barbarism. Now you all want to turn all that around and take the usual route of violence. "something dey worry una O!"
Mr. Delex

I think it is you that has a problem angry. Is that how you will open your eyes till they cede your hometown to lord knows who. In the age were nations are consolidating political power and influence through strategic alliances and geo-political expansion, Nigeria as stupid nd visionless as our leaders has often been goes the opposite direction. If bakassi was near US or Britain or Spain, it definitely would be a different story. these are countries that go half way round the world to claim territories that they have no relationship whatsoever with. but Bakasi (with nigerian inhabitants, speaking Nigerian language, with Nigerian culture) was given away to cameroun just like that. and you dare say it was a noble thing. ask the how important mainland asia is to them and ask the chinese why they refuse to give them even a single square foot.
it shows that our leaders are ready to trade us off for whatever price that is on offer. cameroun was ready to die for bakassi because they understand the economic and political influence it would bring them. Our leaders saw them as a small island of peasants that had nothing to offer.
may God deliver us from these evil men who simply have nothing to offer this nation. tomorrow it could be your hometown they would cede to togo or Niger republic.

I wish we never got into his mess.
I think we should move in to Bakassi and take back what is ours. (at least the military will then prove themselves to the country that they are able to defend us)

RomanceRe: Can Adultery Help My Marriage? by klarry79: 9:37pm On Nov 24, 2007
i think you need to show a lot of care and restraint. some women are averse to sex during pregnancy.
you need to hold out the more. you have lasted 5 months, hold on for the remaining 4 months and set you mind on
the joy this woman you 'despise' will deliver to you soon. you should be focused on preparing for the big arrival.
for all i know, i think the devil is trying to take advantage of your need for sexual satisfaction to wreck a bigger havoc
in your marriage.

i have been in your situation before and all it took was talking to wifey. so go talk to your girl and reach a compromise.
At least you both 'enjoyed it before so there should still be some affection left in you both.

let the greenlight lady go
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Power Problem - Why Energy Conservation Is A Must by klarry79: 5:59am On Nov 22, 2007
There is a general 'un-organization' in the energy sector (as with every sector called nigeria)
although the idea to promote use of energy saving technology is noble, the point is there is no energy to even save.
the town planning for example in lagos is completely warped, there is pratically no clear seperation btw industrial, commercial and residential districts.
this is a major drawback for enegry distribution for very obviouse reasons. so while my good friend works hard conserving energy, his nextdoor neighbour is busy sucking up the available energy with his heavy duty printing machine or some industrial equipment, all this within an epileptic power supply system.

The way forward first is to completely fragmentise (we call it deregulation) the energy sector.
power generation distinct from distribution.
the next thing is for town planners to survey their cities and determine the power requirements and enact or implement laws regarding power utilization.
I believe we need to be told what to have (especially for residences) and what not to have. (e.g can we have industrial mixers, printing machines, etc in our garages "and still try to use energy saving technologies"wink
