I was going thru the sun newspaper and i came across predictions by Primate Ayodele, The founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Isolo, Lagos. i dnt seem happy that such are being predicted by the "Men of God", especially when it comes to crisis, all in the name of religion.

The founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Isolo, Lagos, Primate Babatunde Ayodele, who earlier predicted the death of Mrs. Maryam Babangida, has again said the death could have been prevented.
He claimed he tried to reach out to the late ex-First Lady and wife of the ex-Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida, but did not succeed:
Mrs Maryam Babangida’s death could have been prevented. I knew and tried to reach out to her, but could not. I want to tell Nigerians that those God loves, He wants. No prophesy is a doom. When there is a prophesy, we should contact any pastor or a man of God for prayers.

Governors’ health
The governors of Bayelsa, Yobe, Adamawa and Kaduna states should pray for good health this year. One deputy governor and two speakers from the North and South-South will be removed.

Niger Delta
Crisis is brewing as the Niger Delta militants will strike. The Nigerian Army should offer prayers against mass deaths. There will be tension and crisis, that is why Yar’Adua will not die.
Yar’Adua should set aside February 1, 2010, at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, for serious prayers. This is because the worst is not yet over in Nigeria, and crisis is looming. We should also pray for our past leaders against death.

Bomb scare
There will be bomb scare in the Villa, Aso Rock. Ekiti, Ondo, Enugu, Anambra and Bayelsa states will also experience bomb scare.
The year 2010 is instructive. God wants to put things in proper place. There will be revolution and it will sweep away some obas and leaders. It will come at God’s time, Nigerians should get prepared.

Civil unrest
We should pray against civil unrest that will paralyse the economy for two days. Prayers should be held in March, June, August and October for peace in Nigeria.
The Senate should pray against deaths. There will be serious crisis between the Presidency and the Senate.
Vice President Goodluck Jonathan will not be allowed to rule because of a certain powerful cabal. He must be very careful because his efforts will be thwarted. There are sycophants in the Vice President’s camp. He should be cautions of them, they are deadly.

There will also be a great crack in the Presidency. There will be division in the President’s loyalty. All these prophesies are not for doom. We should pray to avert disaster in the country. That is the most important thing to do.

Economy
In 2010, the economy will not improve. It will be frustrating doing business in 2010. Despite the efforts of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), there will be no improvement in Nigeria’s economy. The CBN efforts will not tally with the economy. They will be at variance.

The rich people will be struggling to maintain standard. It will not be favourable for them. Our industries will not function well. They will continue to experience hard time.
The economy needs prayers because of unfavourable climate to be created by various taxes to be introduced by the Federal and state governments. There will be many corrupt tax officers. There will be chaos because many of the forthcoming taxes are unnecessary. Many of the taxes will be embarrassing and will be exploited.

Stock exchange
The stockage will be explosive in 2010. There will be serious crisis and mirage. New people will take over the stock. There will be clashes with the CBN, and policy reconciliation will be difficult to achieve.

Banks
CBN Governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi will not be appreciated. He will take wrong steps that will affect his reforms negatively.
Retrenchments will continue in the banking industry and CBN will also be affected. There will be more crises in Wema, Fidelity, Intercontinental, Finbank and Unity banks.
Banks will roll out new policies. Banks from the Arab world will make inroads into the country in 2010. There will be more reforms and recapitalisation to be undertaken by the CBN. The apex bank should pray against fire incidents.

Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)
There will be a lot of irregularities in the NPA. There will be big fraud which will result in retrenchment and chaos. There will be high charges at the ports in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Calabar. Because of the irregularities and fraud involving heavy amount, the EFCC will be called in to sanitise the authority.

Transportation
Transport fare will skyrocket in the new year because of fuel price. Government will still increase prices of petroleum products.
The mega party will not succeed. It will be put in the cooker. Ex-Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari and ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the arrowheads of the mega party need prayers.
Second Republic President Shehu Aliyu Shagari and his deputy, Dr. Alex Ekweme need serious prayers against ill-health.

Femi Otedola needs prayers against problems, Aliko Dangote has to pray against his business being run down.
Mike Adenuga needs prayers so that he will not lose somebody dear to him; and lose money in his huge investment. Oando, AP, Mobil and Chevron will have serious problems.
There will be new guidelines in EFCC. Enemies are after the chairman, Farida Waziri and they are very desperate.

They will want to rubbish her by scoring her zero.
Nestle, CocaCola will go for re-brand and they will lose huge amount of money.
Ships will capsize. The Nigerian Navy will want to purchase new war ships.
The FOREX needs to be properly monitored. Nigeria should not contemplate taking foreign loans. That will be a disaster.

The NAFDAC boss will have problems. They will import drugs and NAFDAC officials will be indicted. A baby powder product will be imported and this will bring another round of problems.
The Federal Government will boost agriculture. It will be a prosperous year for farmers. But farmers will perform below expectations.

The NUJ and NFA need prayers not to experience deaths.
Some pastors will be exposed. There will be big crisis in the Christendom and these will throw a lot of things up.

We should be watchful and prayerful in our attitude.
Nigeria will experience Police/Army clashes. Doctors will go on strike, so also the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC). The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation will retrench workers in 2010. Kerosine will be scarce.

There will be new rules for the civil service.
Land use decree will be abused both at the federal and state levels. Some very important prisoners will be released.
Some communications outfits will lose out and there will be new communications companies coming into the country.

Our education policies will undergo changes. We should prevent teachers strike.
An ex-minister needs prayers not to pass away.

i will first of all find a way of wasting all those old toads who keep recycling themselves into government position and replace them with fresh young minds that are ready to work, afterwards we form a team to carry the nation forward. But most important, waste all of the old farts so that there will be no godfatherism anywhere.

Politics / Re: Taking Over Nigeria by klassyguy(m): 6:43pm On Jan 04, 2010
guy, the situation nigeria is in now is a perfect setup for the boys in green to take over. it's just that those who can actually do so have long been retired by OBJ. Abi what do u think happened during Idiagbon's regime? or during shagari's era? things hadn't even gone as bad as the president being out of the country for 40 something days. i even heard shagari was quetly packed out of the office.
Politics / Re: Www.whereisyardua.com by klassyguy(m): 5:37pm On Jan 04, 2010
As far as i'm concerned the guy is either dead or totally incapacitated on life support somewhere. the leaders are trying hard to figure out hw to make it a soft landing. the truth will surely come out one day. my prayer is that the military doesn't use this as an avenue to come back cos if they do, it will take many generations b4 they decide to return power to civilian rule.
Politics / Re: Jonathan's Apology To Nigerians As A Sign Of Humility.-can by klassyguy(m): 5:25pm On Jan 04, 2010
the issue is not about the apology. the issue is hw to get nigeria out of the serious mess it is now, both internationally and locally. anybody can apologise. the true humble ones are those who make efforts to rectify issues after apologizing.

Politics / Minister Under Pressure To License Pilot With Eye Problem by klassyguy(m): 12:44am On Dec 14, 2009
i didn't know where to put this, but since it concerns the politics of the nation, here it is. I just dey shake my head when i read it. seems that our politicians don't even care for the safety of nigerians anymore. i wonder what nigerian politicians are turning into.

Minister under pressure to license pilot with eye problem
Kunle Oderemi, Lagos - 14.12.2009

THE Minister of Aviation, Mr. Babatunde Omotoba, is under pressure from some politicians to clear a pilot with an eye problem to operate in the aviation sector.

The matter has pitched him with those regarded as “big politicians,” as he had vowed to stand by the rules and regulations concerning certification of pilots in the industry.

The minister said he was prepared to resign from his position rather than compromising globally accepted standards in the sector. According to the minister, who confirmed the development at the weekend in Lagos, “a lot of people have been bombarding me with telephone calls, asking me to reverse myself by giving the pilot a clean bill of health.”

Omotoba said no amount of pressure or antics of political godfathers could make him to do their wish, because the government was not prepared to toy with lives of air passengers.

He disclosed that President Umaru Yar’Adua had given him the task of finding a lasting solution to air crashes, hence his primary objective was to ensure a zero-air crash in the country.

He said the said pilot had travelled to the United States, where he obtained a report claiming his fitness to operate in Nigeria’s air space. Omotola said he was not convinced by the document, therefore, he was not ready to bend the rules of the industry to please anyone.

Crime / Re: Muslim Man Kills Wife(for reading bible) And Buries Daughters Alive by klassyguy(m): 5:07pm On Dec 13, 2009
jamace:

I don't see this story from the standpoint that a muslim did this. I see it from the perspective that men have continued to allow themselves to be decieved and driven to the extreme by religion. Remember the Guyana suicide, where a pastor told his followers that the world was going to end soon. He convinced them to take poison and they did and committed suicide. That is pure nonsense and absolute lack of intelligence. I think men should come out of darkness and know the essence of their existence on earth. Fellow NL, do not see this as something to use to tarnish another person's religion. Rather see it as the foolly of a few who are drunk with religious deceit.

I never knew that we still had such intelligent people to provide such a good answer as u just did.

i went to this wedding. It was the weirdest wedding ever! The guy was abroad so the younger brother stood in for him. He had this big old portrait of his brother hanging on his neck. It was definitely a first for me. But this was a traditional wedding. nigerians can do anything without boundaries. I didnt know that you can do that in church or in court.

The one i went to in eruwa one day, the two weren't even there. one was in US, the other in UK. their protraits were carried by one guy and the lady's by her sister. it was soooooo dead weird.
