I heard of a very sad case on CNN nd have been following it for the past week. This man was married to a lady and they had a son. when the child was about a year old, the lady told her husband she wanted to go visit her parents in Brazil, nd she just packed all her luggage and left with her son. When she got to her parents, she called her husband in the states and told him the marriage was over, that she wasn't coming back. The man tried going to court for the custody of his son, but i can't really remember what happened at that point in time.

Later on, the lady got married to another man back in brazil. the young boy began to see him as his dad. along the line, the boy's mum died nd now the biological father is fighting for custody of his son. the foster dad too doesn't want to orelease him. the courts are still fighting over the issue.

who do u think shld keep the child? there was no fight btw his mum nd his biological dad, nd now he wants his son. from reports, he has been fighting for custody of his son since he was taken away by his mum.

in this age of internet, phone calls and text messages, who wants to waste valuable time nd energy drafting a letter that will take weeks to get to its destination? the only letters i remember writing are those lil notes i draft nd stick to the fdridge telling my brother not to finish all the nacho cheese b4 i get back home.

what a way to end it all. Mixed feelings. Am happy for all of them, nd sad for micheal. he shld be the one enjoying most, after all his brainwork in sorting things out till the end.

As I read through this thread, someone was all about how its only "insecure" people that will worry about their girls wanting to have things to do with the show. I respectfully beg to differ. I will not allow a situation I am not comfy with, simply because I want to prove I am not "insecure" or jealous. We are all human beings. How would you feel, seeing someone you love, your woman, being paraded in that kinda fashion?
I love dbanj's songs, but I know the koko, and I am 80% sure some 'kokomycin' is going to be administered on that show.

What you described above is an extreme case, and to say that is the norm is probably not true. I am not going to try and make excuse for the lady, however it should be noted that who was at loss at the end of the day? The woman in my opinion, she got used as she presented herself as a "groupie" and she will probably never get that chance ever again.

Most women are sensible with their actions, especially, in cases where the relationship have a solid foundation.

@Elrazur, iknow why i'm saying this. it happened to one of my friends when i was back in skool. one of the artistes came, nd u need to see how the ladies were screaming!!! being in the front row, the artiste pulled the girl onto stage. see how this babe dey take all her assets rub the guy's body, not caring that her bf was just 3 metres away. wen show end, na so she jump enter car follow the guy go ihn hotel. my friend was heartbroken. later the girl came back apologizing, but the guy vex rake for her. she too started raking, telling him he was worthless nd from the nite b4, can see that he is not a man compared to the artiste. the guy culdn't even say anything again. that was wat ended the relationship.

I suppose it depends on what kind of relationship exist between the woman going in there, and her man on the outside. Personally, I have nothing to be insecure about.
Also, some of these ladies may just be in it for the fun of it, or for the extra large cheese that comes with it. It do not necessarily mean, the winner will have sex with him in my opinion.


Why is it annoying? He is an artist and a face on tv, it is normal for ladies to trip over him. Respectable or not, ladies likes a rich, handsome and young man.
I really do not see the problem to be honest, a few man wants to Bleep Hallie Berrie, Janet Jackson, Genieve, etc. It do not mean they will get their chance.  Just my two cents.

From wat i read in the TV/movies section about the KOKO Manshion whatever, what i can deduce is that the guy is looking for a new babe to use nd dump for the next year. only God knows how many of them he go poke b4 the show ends. For once i agree with charlie. the winner of the show gets a ring, a car, and 1 year galivanting with him both inside nd outside naija. which guy will feel secure with that seeing his babe on TV with another man?

The annoying thing is that u'll see some of our naija girls falling over themselves to get the form. girls who are meant to be respectable and be good wife materials, subjecting themselves so low. Later dem go dey vex say dem boyfriends dey jealous.

Honestly if my babe goes for this kinda show, i'll just tell her that once she enters the mansion, she should close the door nd know that she has closed the door to my heart. not to be opened for her ever again.
