I don't know how some fools compare this mad man called PBAT with the likes of Awos and OBJ. Free education was what the current old elites enjoyed with more opportunities as students and graduates.
I see people happy about this bill. For your information just know that there is going to be a hike in tuition and indirectly what this means is that those thieves who enjoyed free education want you to pay heavily to have the same.
See this corrupt Npower thief requesting another thief like him to arrest their embattled thief. Bunch of all thieves.[quote author=nairalandkachy1 post=123711876]Laolu Akande was Spokesperson to former Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo from 2015-2023.
Wey thing dey do this oop self. He is not the first black mayor in Colorado Springs. The city has got black mayors before him and all thanks to the white pussy!
You know that a cat won't change to be a dog? A cat would be a cat any day, anytime and won't never changed to be a dog. From the time of immemorial, this dude is corruption personified. Everything about him is self-centeredness, and questionable.
obembet: Don't let us conclude untill then... Let hope for something good
Tinubu himself is corruption personified. Everything about him is questionable; from his age, wealth, and certificates, to drug crimes. I wish Nigeria all the best.

Very insensitive and selfish individual. It's always me, my and myself for him. Same thing he did in Lagos for 8 year till date. If not for his personal gains, it won't move him.
Logically, you should know that a job that takes 50% of income on transportation is not a well-paid offer. I may only encourage it for the experience that may be more rewarding!
efembaba: How much is the other half? And where does he live That's d real question
I knew that what this dude is all out for was his stomach infrastrure. Like only beget likes. Alignments to loot the country by another set of criminals... Africa why?
abc115: Fayose visits President Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos.
Omo, Africa is in for a long thing. Just letting you all know that he will still be singing for more of other politicians you guys don't like and you won't come for him by then. Just be aware!
General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife Folu sing birthday songs to congratulate former education minister Oby Ezekwesili at 60.
Sharing the video on her twitter page, Oby Ezekwesili wrote;
You never grow old in the eyes of your parents; not even when you celebrate 60! 😁. Such a beautiful birthday message from my beloved Daddy @PastorEAAdeboye and Mommy @PastorFAAdeboye . I am blessed and deeply grateful.✍🏾✍🏾 pic.twitter.com/rje1E15PzS
Social media is an insane place. They won't have embarked on this demolition without a notice. Madam, you have no govt approval. The safe way is always the right way!
(I did this same thing not long ago. The lady named her child after me - both my first and last names!)
This Turkish white lady was pregnant, alone, depressed, despondent, and destitute. A Nigerian guy took care of her without asking her for sex, or asking anything in return. She ended up naming the child after him and thinks the world of Nigerians!
If only more Nigerians were like us. Can you do such?
Their problem... As the word goes: Odun egun a to tun, awon omo alaagba won ma fi akara je eko... When they all squander the national resources for their personal gains, I believe their unborn lineage would get their own shares of the ripple effect of the looting!

The guy is going okay. You have gotten what's esential of life. Material things are relative and you can't have them all. He has gotten a happy home and childern which money can not get him. He just have to be hopeful and keep working to actualize his dreams!
tensazangetsu20: I think you are doing okay. You are feeding your family so be very grateful as many Nigerian families can't feed.
I am happy I never passed it because it was not his purpose for me. I got another offer to go somewhere warmer. Do I still want Canada? Definitely No! Don't do follow follow for this life, chase you own dreams and you would be happy you did!
Gerrard59: Na because IELTS no favour you dey talk this one.
Just leave him, let him dey everywhere on nairaland as the only GOD of japa. Everywhere has pros and cons. If they have it all in the glorify abroad they won't be looking for immigrants to come to their country as skilled workers. To get a full-stack doctor to be seen in the glorified abroad it's a difficult task, na so so physician assistant fully everywhere. Just don't pray to be a low-income earning in abroad, one would suffer for it. If someone like Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has follow follow go the abraod, he would be in the abroad working his ass out to meet up with a mortgage of 3-bedroom apartment for 25 years... Everyone path is differrnent!
They know that Nigeria is about to change for the best under the able leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Nigeria will be GREAT again and we can all feel it.
Pitobi can continue to try to steal a mandate. He is only wasting his time.
And there was stats that 90% of Nigerians own less than 500K NGN is their bank accounts! Mehn that means most Nigerians currently have low standard of living!
ogbiwa: I've just been thinking and I realised that with 1 million naira, you can't: - buy a house - buy a decent car - buy a decent landed property - construct a proper building foundation - setup a decent business - self-fund a proper business idea from zero - etc
So I realised there are actually Nigerian "millionaires" who can't afford most of the things I listed above (technically, anyone with atleast 1 million Naira is a millionaire, by definition) So does this mean some of our millionaires here, compared to their counterparts in other countries, are actually considered broke?
Is there something of real value you know can be bought with 1 million Naira that I may have missed? Let me know in the comments. Ogbiwa
Figure don't lie. What percentage of the green card issued by both countries are family-based vs merit-based each year? Yankee greencard is more family based oriented.
Gerrard59: Without sounding like a broken record, I know this. But it is not guaranteed compared to being an international student based in Canada. The latter has a guaranteed/sure/almost 100% chance of being a permanent resident than the former. That is my point. Yes, NiW is an option, but it is not guaranteed compared to Canada's route. If OP had an offer from ETH Zurich, I would say take the American option because getting permanent residency in Switzerland is not easy for a black African (excluding marriage).
You are trying to teach a bird how to fly. I know these things like the back of my palm.
Even an unborn child knows this, but for someone who has the option of going to Canada, he needs that assurance of being able to assess the US labour market on favourable terms. Unless you want OP to hustle employment with only Nigerian citizenship in an economy with layoffs here and there. The Biotech industry, for instance, except for large firms doesn't like recruiting international students, especially in a struggling economy with reduced VC funding. Except you did stellar research like a future Nobel laureate. However, most people are average or slightly above average.
NiW is a sure path but compared to Canada's option? It is not. Canada is certain. It is like the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. It is guaranteed. Certain. Confirmed. Sure. 100%. In fact, I am willing to bet that from 2015 to date, more Nigerian students in Canada with a PhD became naturalised citizens before their US counterparts all things being equal (excluding marriage). It is the reason I created that thread to know how Nigerian students in the US became naturalised citizens. I wager that the majority got there via marriage, including PhD graduates. I am open to seeing data that says otherwise
Well spoken... As much as I careless, America can declare herself as the world's headquarters of gayism and carry all the gay people in the world to the America. That's their cup of tea!
So, did I advise anyone? I said what I know about what people do and most of una even the ones that have funding and need extra income.
mantics: You are advising people to do illegal things in an open forum. Visa Officers do visit the thread, you don't think about the consequence? I think you should think deep yourself about what you wrote before telling me I couldn't comprehend what you typed..
Did you read to comprehend? Where did I advice anyone to come to the states illegally? I have just said what I know about how people survive in the states including undergraduates and gradstudents with no funding. Please, leave me ooo.
mantics: Kai, please are you in US or outside US? I will like to know. You are advising someone with a better chance of landing assistantship to study in US to enter as an illegal? Have you had a one on one discussion with people that entered through that route? I mean those ready to tell you the truth. Do you think it's that rosy for them? When you can enter legally, study with tuition waived and also earn better money after school, you are advising someone to come and be doing max 20$/hr job for ever? The 20$/h is even the upper limit, most is 10$/h. Abeggy oooo. This is a wrong advice, don't lead people to trouble.
