@kunleoshob salami is and has been an ilorin boy all his life. he is a strict man who prolly won't recognise weed if he saw it so i don't know where you got your 'well known fact' while it is true that tinubu bribed appeal court judges, you should be aware that Salami is one of the few remaining good judges in Nigeria. how do i know all of this? we share a 'connection'!!! |
[/quote][quote]MASSOB also announced the cessation of all acts of hostility against the Nigerian state.they copied that one from pirates of the caribbean ![]() |
which kind of question is that? the main perpetrator of the crisis is his southwest campaign manager. whatchu xpect 'im to say? |
i wish there was a 'like' button on nairaland. nice work poster. only prob is they are both south south |
well, i know some of this 'big' men e.g the late rimi, buhari who were once powerful do not have money as in cash, but every now and then some guy they favored in their days of glory brings some returns which sustains them. i dont believe the 2.8 billion story, cos in 2007, buhari was said to have put up with a family friend when his house was being renovated. if he had that money, he could have simply checked into a hotel. i think he lives on charity of his faithfuls. |
abi o. no be only 'feel good about it' so they want us to believe that a driver took a bus (which was most likely hired to him), took money out of hs own pocket, then went to sit at the panel beater's when his mates are carrying passengers and earning money; all of this forthe love of GEJ's candidacy? even my keyboard doesnt biliv it! |
genius my foot. the guy should grow up abeg. stop behaving like kid. like it was aganga alone that drafted every part of the buget |
then write novels- once its good, you'll get publishers articles/ commentaries- i know there was a time newspapers & mags used to pay people for their articles. poems- just like novels, once they are tight, you'll get a publisher |
so all 36 year old women who conceive in february will deliver girls abi? laughable! |
i have said before and i'm saying it again Pastor Tunde Bakare should not make the mistake of accepting that proposal, cos if he does and buhari loses the election(which to me is a strong possibility) he and SNG can bid their credibility farewell. no one will ever take them serious as all of their views will be taken as purely politically motivated positions. |
all you need is a really good fridge. why buy and waste a freezer? |
you mean which sausage is the best shey? GALA!!!!!!!!! all 'em meaty, bigi, etc are second grade ![]() |
THAT IS DEFINITELY NOT LAGBAJA!!!!!!! AM ABSOLUTELY SURE!!!!!! |
First of All, let me state that I am not anti-jonathan, in fact i never expected that i'll be saying the above (especially when Atiku already said the same) but carefully considering the spate of nefarious activities in our land makes me wonder. A lot of things are very wrong and GEJ just prefers to form siddon look because most of the perpetrators of those crimes are his supporters. it seems loyalty to GEJ is a license for wanton behavior. just now, i read of the assasination of anpp candidaTE in borno, it is unlikely that any meaningful outcome will emerge gbenga daniel continues to lord over ogun state but is untouchable alao akala the same thing, and several other guvs just because they can 'deliver' votes. things are just going wrong everyday and our govt is looking the other way, telling us of how some bonds were oversubscribed will 'election year' not cost us more than it should the way things are going? |
EDUCATION EDUCATION EDUCATION AFRICAN COUNTRIES WANT TO BE LIKE ADVANCED NATIONS WHILE NEGLECTING THE MOST VITAL PART OF CIVILISATION WHICH IS EDUCATION. the truth is the 'poor reasoning capacity' of african's is caused by the fact that a major percentage of our population remain uneducated. when a man is educated, thats when he can understand that A uniform and gun is no license for brutality, that he can aspire to the same office some desperate politician is offering him small change in place of votes; he can understand that he has a righ to query the govt and not regard govt performance a s a favor, he begins to see people in a new light, not by their ethnicity but by intellectual capacity. YOU CAN BE SURE THAT UNLESS WE EDUCATE ALL OF POPULATION, WE WILL REMAIN BACKWARD. FOR LIFE!!!! |
http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/buhari-considers-bakare-as-running-mate/85319/ the link above tells us that Buhari wants Tunde Bakare as running mate. My advice for the preacher RUN AWAY!!!!!. moment SNG becomes fused into a political party they can be sure they are finished. what SNG should do is emulate MArtinLuther King jr, become a strong pressure group that 'recommends' candidates or gives their support to good aspirants who can win instead of throwing all of their goodwill into the mud. |
nnpc!!! ;d |

The son of Abeokuta chief, Alani Bankole, he was a businessman before being elected to the House. Elected at age 37,[2] Bankole is the youngest Speaker in the history of the House.[3] Contents [hide] 1 Early life, education, and sports 2 Business career 3 Political career 3.1 House of Representatives Speakership 4 2009 Excessive Travel Expenses Scandal 5 References [edit] Early life, education, and sportsA Muslim[4] Egba,[5] Bankole was born in Abeokuta in what is now Ogun State on November 14, 1969. His parents are Alani Bankole, a businessman, former National Vice Chairman of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP)[5] and Seriki Jagunmolu of Egbaland, and his wife, Atinuke Bankole, Ekerin Iyalode of Egbaland.[4] Newspaper Thisday identifies Bankole's education as such: Baptist Boys High School, Abeokuta starting 1979; Albany College, London, England starting 1985; University of Reading, Reading, England starting 1989; University of Oxford's Officer Training College, Oxford, England in 1991; and Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, US in 2005.[4] All Africa.com reports that he holds a professional certificate in Public Finance from Harvard University, USA. .[6] Bankole states he never went to Sandhurst military academy but only took courses for military officers at Oxford University where he was in the Artillery Corps.[7] Bankole is a polo player, and is a member of the Lagos Polo Club, where his position is defence.[4] He also enjoys football.[8] [edit] Business careerBankole was the Director of Freight Agencies Nigeria Limited from 1995 until 1998, Executive Director of Operations of West African Aluminium Products Limited from 1998 until 2003, and Director of ASAP Limited from 2000 until 2003.[4] He is also an economist.[9] [edit] Political careerIn 2003, Bankole was elected to the House of Representatives on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) ticket to represent the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency of Ogun State. He was Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Finance while Aminu Bello Masari was Speaker,[10] (Farouk Lawan was Chairman of the committee)[9] and was also previously Chairman of the House Committee on Land Transport.[10] Other committees he has sat on are the panels on Defence, Internal Affairs and Banking, and Currency.[8] Bankole was re-elected in April 2007.[4] He considers his legislative interests to be those related to defence and finance.[11] [edit] House of Representatives SpeakershipIn September 2007, a committee questioned Speaker Patricia Etteh about her spending of ₦628 million ($4.8m) on home renovation and automobiles. She denied wrongdoing, but many representatives were unhappy with her attempts to defend herself, blows were traded on the floor of the House, and Etteh had to be escorted from the chamber.[12] Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and many top PDP members continued to back her,[13] but a large segment of the party, led by Lawan and including Bankole, called for her resignation.[10] It was reported that Bankole, among multiple other contenders, hoped to succeed her as early as October 5, 2007.[14] After Etteh's resignation from the post on October 30 (along with her deputy, who was also caught up in the scandal),[15] Integrity Group (anti-Etteh) member Terngu Tsegba became interim speaker.[8] Samson Osagie of Edo State nominated Bankole for the post of Speaker, and Lynda Ikpeazu of Anambra State seconded the proposal. On November 1, he was elected to succeed Etteh.[10] His challenger was Osun State Representative George Jolaoye, whom he beat by 304 votes to 20 (and 4 abstentions). Etteh was among those who voted against Bankole.[2] The new deputy speaker was Usman Bayero Nafada.[10] On his election, Bankole said "I am taking over the mantle of leadership at a very difficult time. But these are hard times, we need to build confidence again and assure the populace that we are still their representatives. I want an independent house that Nigerians will be proud of, this is my first task."[8] One week after his election, political opponents claimed that Bankole had not completed his National Youth Service Corps (N.Y.S.C) service, which is mandatory for all Nigerian university graduates under thirty years of age when they graduate, and called for his resignation over the issue.[16] Bankole provided his N.Y.S.C discharge certificate, ending the rumor.[17] On June 22, 2010,Bankole suspended 11 Members of Parliament indefinitely for disorderliness and fighting in the house.[18] [edit] 2009 Excessive Travel Expenses ScandalIn 2009, he was accused of spending over N52b as travel expenses, an act many members of the House of Representative described as 'selfish and fraudulent', considering the current level of poverty among the greater percentage of the Nigerian population.[19] |

I DON'T KNOW WHAT CAUSED THE REAL REASON/CALCULATIONS BEHIND THE REMOVAL OF NWODO BUT WHAT I KNOW IS 1. THE NIGERIAN JUDICIARY IS EXTREMELY CORRUPT (FORGET ALL THOSE REVERSALS OF GUBERNATORIAL ELECTIONS, ALL THAT IS TINUBU'S MONEY TALKING) SO IT IS UNLIKELY THAT THIS JUDGEMENT COMING ONE DAY TO THE PRIMARIES IS A COINCIDENCE, IT WAS MOST LIKELY CAUSED. 2. THE JUDGEMENT DOES NOT IN ANY WAY HAMPER GEJ'S CANDIDACY; REASON BEING, HE IS THE 'NATIONAL LEADER' OF THE PARTY' OBJ IS BOT CHAIRMAN AND SEVERAL OTHER REASONS. SO MASTERSTROKE OR NOT, IT IS NOT A BENEFIT TO ATIKU. PERIOD! |
