Fair point but the aim of PDP winning Osun proves two points

1. The hype around Tinubu that he controls the party politics of the SW becomes demystified, losing his own home state to an opposition party under Atiku won't look good on his pedigree regardless of general election outcomes.

2. PDP winning Osun actually gives them a fighting chance in general elections, even though APC are certain of clearing the SW for Tinubu, it might not be a landslide win for him...Tinubu needs unopposed bloc votes from the SW, but "minor" cracks like this might prove to be a spoiler to his chances of a bloc vote in a region he's expected to sweep.

The bottom line Tinubu’s brother abi na cousin did not do jack for 4 years & did not let people prosper except his brother. Obviously we all no Tinubu needs a huge war chest to fight d general elections so Tinubu must have made his cousin handicap, I don’t have proof ohh!!, but I don’t understand y a person who had a close call d last time would not make effort to do well.

Tinubu already has bloc votes secured in the SW which is his home region, so why should Obi care about the outcome of Osun election? Obi should even be praying that PDP wins Osun because that puts APC in a deficit for Tinubu ahead of general elections, a spilt vote between PDP and APC across the SW is a win for Labor party...essentially the more states PDP win in the SW, the more losses APC take...which puts Labor party in a better fortune when it comes to the SW, kapish?

The Governorship is a local election, when it comes to the General election presidency all SW states would close ranks, even Oyo State that have a PDP Governor, people would vote him in Guber & Tinubu during d presidential elections.

The constitution also state categorically that "there shall be no state religion" which implies that anyone can do anything. Moreover, it is a fundamental human right. Freedom of religion.
