The suspect is aged 25 and his sister is older. Then how did the 'mistake' occur? The sister must have given consent, being a matured lady able to know right from left. Certainly, a 25 year old is old enough and mature to know what he is doing How did the 'mistake' occur? Did he 'mistakenly' remove his trousers and also 'mistakenly' inserted his manhood organ into the woman? While he was 'mistakenly' committing incest, what was the elder sister's reaction? Is she a robot or an slowpoke? This is an interesting story indeed! It is either that he raped his elder sister or that the two of them are in an incestuous relationship by mutual consent. No mistake in this. The elder sister should be asked to tell the court how the 'mistake' occurred. |
lakpalakpa: Most soldiers are uniformed beasts, so why should I care...You should care that a young man consisting of flesh and blood like you died in battle to secure your peace If you are human, and not a beast, you should care If humans show care when their pet animals are wounded or killed, why cannot you care for this young, handsome soldier whose life and career has been terminated? Soldier Leo,rest in peace. |
Rest in peace, brother I feel for your fiancee Only God can comfort her and your relations too Your death will surely not be in vain in Jesus name I am proud of you, dear brother dying to rid our land of terrorists We shall meet in the morning at the resurrection Good night sir |
Illegal armories abound everywhere in Nigeria in wrong hands. The disintegration of the nation called Nigeria is an easy task if one of the 'armies' break loose. That we are still a nation is an act of God. How did the illegal weapons come in,in the first place? We have Army,Police,Navy,Customs,Immigration and many other related security outfits I believe that the Ecowas Treaty which allows free movement across West African borders is the major cause and should be abrogated so that Nigeria can control more effectively who comes in. 2ndly, i believe the security outfits above have not been doing their work effectively over the years.Where were they when the forest was turned into an armoury? Had the Chibok girls not been abducted, would they have known about the armoury in the forest? Na wa for this Nigeria O! |
Your ex is married and wants to come back? That is ADULTERY! ROMANS 7:1-3 SAYS SO LET GOD'S WORD BE TRUE AND ALL MEN LIARS |

Pay your tithes as commanded by the Lord in the Scriptures and expect your reward according to Malachi 3. Whatever the church does with it is not your own business. Your own business is to pay but not to poke-nose into how it is expended. If the tithes are abused/misused/misappropriated/expended unscripturally, God will judge those who do that. Leave judgment to God,please. (Psalm 94:1) (Matthew 7:1-5) It is not your business to come to a public forum to be criticizing a Ministry's opinion on tithing. It can incur you the wrath of the Lord. When Aaron and Mariam criticized Moses, God inflicted leprosy on Mariam, not minding that Mariam was Moses sister. It does not even matter to God if that Ministry is actually in error. If you are offended by the Ministry's teaching, coming to a public forum is not the remedy. There are other ways, scripturally to address such issues. I am not a member of Oyedepo's ministry and have never come across him. |
Death always comes unannounced (Ecclesiastes 3:2) After death is Judgment (Hebrews 9:27) We shall surely give account of our life on earth (2 Corinthians 5:10) (Ecclesiastes 12:14) Repent NOW,today before it is too late (Luke 13:3) |
I will keep my mouth shut. I will not be party to the breakdown of another person's marriage. That is not my business OH! |
I disagree with the verdict The girl at age 14 is a minor and therefore cannot be sentenced to death under the law. To do so is a miscarriage of justice The girl is not mature enough to know what she was doing at the time and may have been influenced against her wishes. It was a greater act of injustice to give out a 14 year old girl in marriage in the first instance. And a worse injustice to marry her to a 35 year old man who is old enough to father her! How can a man aged 35 be marrying a 14 year old girl? Are more matured and older women scarce in the market? Or could it be that such men are too timid to approach their age grade for marriage? I do not understand. It looks weird OH and its shockingly disgusting to my hearing. |
It is WRONG.That is ADULTERY in disguise. A decent and responsible woman with the fear of God in her would not do such |
Honestly,i do not believe this news.Seems too good to be true! Are these the Chibok School girls or another set of victims? |
In today's Nigerian society, many people walking the streets are of an unsound mind or clearly mad though well dressed. It is really unfortunate that a teen age student in a University feels too big to submit to be disciplined by his parents. How can one stab his own father? It is strange! This is a fulfillment of Bible prophesy in Matthew 24 that in the Last Days, iniquity will be on the rise despite increased gospel activities. KILLED his own father(an abominable act) in the premises of a church (a worse abomination)? God have mercy on this generation OH |
Eh Ya! Sorry OH,Black Arrow. Considering the circumstances of your departure, what kind of account will you give before the Judge(Ecclesiastes 12:14)(Hebrews 9:27)? Too late to make amends oh Rest in peace |
Go to MFM Prayer City in Lagos for deliverance as you are likely under a curse |
OP,you are right that blogging can fetch millions as i have experienced it too. But i disagree with step 4 about google adsense. Adsense is a peanut, waste of time business, not worth it at all. Create unique content and do effective marketing and be patient The bucks will roll in. |
A time to be born, a time to die (Ecclesiastes 3:2) After death is Judgment (Hebrews 9:27) We shall appear before the Judgment seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10) No repentance in the grave,no second chance to make amendments. Today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2) Repent Now! Alhaja Arisekola Alao, rest in peace. |
Because Nigeria did not get to the quarter finals in the 2014 World Cup? Now is the time to remember that Oliseh can coach the Eagles, abi? |
Hi friend! Pls, find something meaningful to do with your had earned money. Nigeria poultry market is not yet ripe for the small players. Imagine investing such amount for about 3 or more months, and instead of making gain, no matter how small; you will be struggling to recoup your capital. It always attract tears and sorrow. Carefully study physical demand and supply b4 venturing into that biz. Thanks
I disagree with you. There are many small players in the business I can show you how to rear 100 broilers starting with N100K and sell them at 7 weeks old at N900.00 each and make a reasonable profit. Doing that 7 times in a year, you are better off than some salary earners who leave home by 5 am,return by 11 pm with nothing to show for all that stress. |
bassdow: Good day NairalandersYou can rent space in an existing farm and start from there. With your N250k, start with broilers cos you will make faster & better returns than using N250k to set up a layers chicken business. Starting with broilers, you must understand their feeding systems, the market to sell to and the season to rear them not to make a loss. For broilers you have to go the extra mile to locate the market unlike the layers for eggs. That is my advice for now.For more on broilers and layers, visit the signature |
The Shootist: So at what price do the local restaurants and eateries pay per kilogram. And do they buy whole dressed chicken or is it some parts alone, probably just thighs and wings, in which case to whom do u sell other parts. Im interested and working on this. Processors' pricing is ridiculous. The broiler business is somewhat delicate based on seasons but is good business if you can locate the market first. The broiler consumes feed at higher rates than the layer chicken. The broiler can be sold at 7 weeks old or at 12 - 14 weeks old. Many farmers rear broilers seasonally targeting festive seasons like Christmas when they can get good prices and make clean, neat profits.During Christmas, many lose their senses who make purchases based on impulse and emotions and that is good for the broiler farmer selling during Xmas. If you rear broilers in an off season, and you do not understand what i call 'short cut' feeding system, and you feed them with commercial feeds only, you may make a loss. With the 'short cut',you spend much less on feeding and produce heavy broilers that attract better prices. One of my blog readers sold his live broilers recently at 7 weeks for N1000.00 each in Akwa Ibom State and realized a decent profit .There is a thriving broiler market but you should locate the market first before you start production. |

hayor2014: Please house, I intend to build a poultry house , layers in battery cages, that will take at least 4000 birds, what is the size that the poultry house should be at that capacity.. thanks allIf you are starting with 4000 POL, then you may build a chicken pen housing the battery cages only with no provisions for brooding and rearing sections which apply to day old chickens set up.If u are starting with 4000 Point of Lay(POL),and u are using the battery cage that can carry 90 chickens, that means you will acquire about 45 battery cages. To get the size of the chicken pen that will accommodate 45 battery cages, you have to get the dimensions of the battery cage that you are going to use. 2nd,you have to determine the arrangement of the battery cages in rows ie how many will be in a row. 3rd,that will determine whether the land space you have is sizable enough for the chicken pen to be constructed. I suggest you adopt the flushing system and you have to get the dimensions of the flushing system to be incorporated in the design of the poultry house. Then the spacing between the battery cages and the spacing between the rows also have to be considered in the design.the figures we come up with will determine the overall size in terms of length, breadth and height. |

Rzq4: I tnk 600 day-old chicks will consume 400kg of feed in the first month(4wks)Your estimation is misleading. 600 day old chicks will consume more than 400 kg of feed in the first 4 weeks. |
eugeneric: @amp, so sorry it was a mistake, i meant two weeks from day old chick. dats y am kinda worried that wen it gets to POL wont the feeding be times 3.I understand the feeding system of the chickens at any age in weeks and can rightly guide you on this. The guy that says 600 day old chicks will consume 2 bags per day from age 2 weeks old is a novice himself and a totally ignorant person. It is obvious that he knows practically and virtually nothing about the poultry business especially the feeding system of the chickens. If you are rearing 6oo day old chickens, you are starting with chick starter mash from day 1 to 8 weeks. Many starter farmers withdraw the chick starter mash by 6 weeks but i recommend 8 weeks and there are expert reasons for that decision. However,to answer the question directly,to feed 600 day old chicks for the first 8 weeks of life will take a maximum of 70 bags of chick starter and there are principles/formulas for calculating the feeding to arrive at realistic estimates. From 9 weeks to about 20 weeks, you apply growers mash and from 20 weeks and above to end of egg production, you apply layers mash. There are formulas for calculating the feeding costs at each stage to be able to determine the feeding budget before starting the farm.More details from the signature below |
This dog i am seeing looks like a drug addict or a demon possessed dog oh! I like dogs because they are friendly and loyal especially the local ones in Nigeria But i have never had the confidence to go near one whether large or small, local or foreign. I am scared of them and avoid going near them. The dog in the picture must have been hungry. I recall a real life incident that happened in Kano along Independence Road around 1987. A Lebanese family had two huge fearsome and deadly looking dogs in his premises along with a guard. The family traveled and left the dogs in care of the guard. The guard starved the huge dogs of food and strolled out one night. In the next compound separated with a fence were three goats. That night, the huge dogs jumped over the fence and attacked the goats in the next compound. They ate the goats alive! The careless guard was lucky that he strolled out.He would have been killed if he was there. In 2009, i tried to overcome the fear of dogs by rearing one, a baby dog.I had a small poultry in the premises. I named her Cinderella and i used to feed her thrice daily. What i eat,Cinderella eats. One day, i caught the baby dog,Cinderella eating a chicken. It ate everything except the feathers. i was shocked! I gave it out to someone and from that day have sworn never to have anything to do with a dog. Never! |
A customer in one of the eastern branches of Afribank sued and got judgment in his favor. I do not have the exact details but i got to know that the robbery occurred many years ago in the late 1990's. The customer claimed that he was already in the banking hall when the robbers struck. The bank refused to abide by the judgment as at 2003 and the court tried to enforce it by seizing the branch's vehicles. I was in the branch premises in 2003when court officials and police came to seize the vehicles and that was how i heard the story. As i said, i have not seen any documents confirming the incident so i am not really sure whether it is true. |
I visit about once in 5 years. Really, i have no serious business with the place. The last time i was there in September 2013 after a 5 year absence, i spent 3 hours and hurriedly left the town for strong personal reasons.God knows when i will be there again. |
Why the argument? It was an armed robbery charge, not a mere robbery. The victim admitted that the weapon used was a toy gun and on that point the judge should not have applied the maximum sentence. The judge may have reasoned that a weapon remains a weapon whether real or toy, if it was used to instill fear in the victim. There are laws that deal with armed robbery but are there no laws that deal with pen robbery? It amazes me how a man who steals N10,000.00 can be sentenced to death but another man who pensteals N10 billion goes free. All men are equal but some are more equal than others. |
