Its the spirit of tattoo at work. QED |
Got this forwarded to me. Much as i do not like the religious tone of our politics, i wonder if this could true. ----------------------------------------------------- SECRET 1: During Babangida's Regime, he sold Nigeria to the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) in other to islamize Nigeria with an agreement that every year Nigeria will be paying interest to OIC. So from IBB's regime Nigeria kept paying until 1999 when Obasanjo, a Christain came & stopped it for 8yrs of his Tenure. Then in 2007 Yara'dua came in & paid the outstanding debt of OBJ to OIC, with an interest & apology, he also paid his own from 2007 - 2010 & died. Goodluck Jonathan came in and stopped it for 6yrs! Now the OIC constitution says that any member nation that stops this payment for 10yrs will be automatically excommunicated! GEJ has ruled Nigeria from May 2010 - 2015. This 2nd Tenure will make it 10yrs so that Nigeria will be delivered from the Blood sucking Islamic Religion. Thats why APC's presidential candidate Buhari has been fighting to rule nigeria from OBJ's regime till date. Remember that Nigeria's 100yrs anniversary was in 2014. Any religion that starts to rule from 2015 will take dominion for the next 100yrs. Note that I am not campaigning for GEJ, but I am just revealing a secret. If you watch previous voting patterns, you will discover that Muslims don't vote for Christians if they have a choice. They are taught never to vote for infidels but in the media they urge Christians not to vote by religion. BokoHaram is masterminded by the OIC to intimidated us to surrender power to them but by the Grace of God, it will soon be over. Believers that have lost their lives for Nigeria did not die in vain, we shall hold the faith of our fathers. Don't personalize this secret make sure you send it to all your friends and everybody around. May God bless you as you will vote for a Christain President in Nigeria's 2015 Elections. |
Thanks to God. Well done NA. You are in our prayers. Yes, for sure. But I didn't see no pix o. |
tolextony:While i do not fully support GEJ, some of the above are true and many arguments irrational. It makes me wonder what future lies ahead for youths that cannot accept better reason and better sense of judgement. Many resort to name calling and insults and are even ready to fight and kill. Unfortunately, they forget that they will not be remembered should war or even minor fracas break out. They also forget that these politicians would settle between themselves soon after. Hmmm! |
Hmmmm! |
Looking at it from another angle. What if the perpetrators thought they would have an easy ride through town because if apc campaign? In that case it could be pdp or apc if at all either is involved. Nigerians are smart, just that the.environment for positive smartness isnt there that much. I am not bothered whichever of the parties are involved, but i'm grateful that the arms are siezed and hoping no 'oga at the top' or bottom would intervein to get it released to bh again. |

Aprime:Whatever she might have done, this is not right. This is a female and not a man who could possibly match the officer with strength. I understand that many lack courtesy in speeches, nevertheless this cannot be condoned. Knowing how to handle civilian provocation is part of military training which seems lacking in the armed forces in Nigeria, even para military organisations. |
There is a danger in the blabbing which i will label no.10. 10. Some nasty guys can target you and ... I'm sure you don't want to lose that pride that way. So keep it to yourself and let it be the pride of your husband later on. I proudly have that testimony about my wife, and myself anyway. Had to read books, if u get what mean. We have children in SS now anyway. So no need for counsels. |
Depends on who amd what u listen to. I have heard lots preachings on that book in my some 20+ yrs as a Chiristian |
Jameselias:I'm not sure I get your point, but be careful what you say about God and how you say it. He can defend Himself. Do not disdain Him or He will show you that He is God. I guess you are ready for the challenge though. |
Taken that quietness does not portay decency BUT decency is NOT ONLY in or of the mind! In any case what is in your mind will seep out atimes. |
This was forwarded to me with no source. Could this be true? ------------------------------------------------ UNBELIEVABLE! A MUST READ! It Is Either The Koran Or The Sword - ALIYU GWARZO ''When I say that the Presidency must come to the north next year I am referring to the Hausa-Fulani core north and not any northern christian or muslim minority tribe. The Christians in the north such as the Berom, the Tiv, the Kataf, the Jaba, the Zuru, the Sayyawa, the Bachama, the Jukun, the Idoma and all the others are nothing and the muslim minorities in the north, including the Kanuri, the Nupe, the Igbira, the Babur, the Shuwa Arabs, the Marghur and all the others know that when we are talking about leadership in the north and in Nigeria, Allah has given it to us, the Hausa-Fulani. They can grumble, moan and groan as much as they want but each time they go into their bedrooms to meet their wives and each time they get on their prayer mats to begin their prayers, it is we the Fulani that they think of, that they fear, that they bow to and that they pray for. Some of them are even ready to give us their wives and daughters for one nights sport and pleasure. They owe us everything. This is because we gave them Islam through the great Jihad waged by Sheik Usman Dan Fodio. We also captured Ilorin, killed their local King and installed our Fulani Emir. We took that ancient town away from the barbarian yoruba and their filthy pagan gods. We liberated all these places and all these people by imposing islam on them by force. It was either the Koran or the sword and most of them chose the Koran. In return for the good works of our forefathers Allah, through the British, gave us Nigeria to rule and to do with as we please. Since 1960 we have been doing that and we intend to continue. No Goodluck or anyone else will stop us from taking back our power next year. We will kill, maim, destroy and turn this country into Africa's biggest war zone and refugee camp if they try it. Many say we are behind Boko Haram. My answer is what do you expect? We do not have economic power or intellectual power. All we have is political power and they want to take even that from us. We must fight and we will fight back in order to keep it. They have brought in the infidels from America and the pigs from Israel to help them but they will fail. The war has just begun, the Mujahadeen are more than ready and by Allah we shall win. If they don't want an ISIS in Nigeria then they must give us back the Presidency and our political power. Their soldiers are killing our warriors and our people every day but mark this: even if it takes one hundred years we will have our revenge. Every Fulani man that they kill is a debt that will be repaid even if it takes 100 years. The Fulani have very longk memories.''- ALIYU GWARZO |
This proverb is just so true for some comments on this topic - 'the dog that will perish will not heed the hunter's whistle'. History is replete with people who thought they were in control and raged against proper behaviours which even nature teaches, who have destroyed themselves. The captain of titanic is an example. |
seunfly:That has been the trend in Nigeria for so long. National institutions serve the interest of the leader and his party. Though Jega's INEC seem to be different sha. Thats why we need change. Hopefully we can get the change this time around. Especially with our votes counting for something. |
[quote author=Bobbyunitedfc post=29348728]Jesus could but chose not to because He came for that purpose. |
This is not to defend or discredit TB but there are some levels of prophecy, of which i will mention 2, namely 1. Forthtelling, that is speaking to edify, comfort and exhortation. Anyone can be inspired to so speak. 1 Cor 14:3. 2. Foretelling, which is speaking of events in advance. This is what TB goes into in prophecies like this. It should be noted however that most prophecies that foretell events are not rubber stamped ideas. They depend on responses from humans many time. Mary the mother of Jesus had to respond positively for the angelic prophecy to come to pass, at least in her life else it may not come to pass. Therefore that a prophecy has been spoken doesnt mean it must come to pass exactly as spoken, depending on its context. Some factors are involved, of which human cooperation is vital. Also, foretelling is not meant to be something anyone can spin anyhow. So to ask TB to prophesy about some events shows lack of understanding of what prophecy is about. Elisha the prophet in the Bible acknowledged that GOD did not tell him ahead about the trouble of the Shunamite woman in 2 Kings 4:27. God can choose to hide an issue from even the most anointed. When anyone the acts as if he knows everything, he is going down gradually. Therefore, no man of God has exclusive right to prophecy, particularly foretelling. We know in part on this side of eternity. In fact we see dimly. So asking TB to spin some words about chibok is inapropriate. Also, personal prophecies are meant to be confirmation of what God has been trying to call your attention to. Just some thoughts on prophecy. Its too vast a subject to discuss fully here. |
For me its no big deal. Though i prefer to carry the baby in my hand but had to back the baby cos i needed to carry some other things, to church actually. Actually did it a number of times during my child raising years. The suprise on people's faces was always amusing. Especially amusing is the question of 'where is the mother?' whenever she was not with me, particularly the first few times. They eventually got used to it sha. I am not one to give a damn whatever anyone says or think, so if need be i would do but still prefer carrying the baby in my hands. |
Many comments are quite amusing. The request by the bishop is not out order. The truth is many Christians will vote GMB and its not out of place for him to clear the air on some comments credited to him. For those who seem better enlightened, know that in places where votes count and the people are valued, GMB would definitely have to respond to the accusation. Or why would Obama need to address coloured races in US? However village like the world may become, a people will always have their peculiarity, which cannot just be wished away. Some are just too 'smart' in ignorance sha. That religion and tribal issues play important roles in our poliics is something we cannot just wish away, we must grow out of it with proer sense and never by name calling, insulting one another or feeling superior to others. |
The reason people fight is because no one is ready to accept the fault, especially if the damage is extensive. Moreover your insurance company wouldnt want you to accept responsibility. Many drivers are just reckless. And believe you me, this is naija where the guilty can be declared innocent. Not minding the above however, its brutish (imo) to engage in a fight when an accident happens. Statistics, if taken, would probably reveal that the crashes people fight about are minor ones. There was this day that i gave a taxi and okada the right to enter in my front only for the okada to stop recklessly to pick a passenger. I hit him slightly and broke his rear light and my headlight. I then went ahead and parked by myself wihout anyone stopping me. The guy now came and was going to touch me, i told him he is in trouble if he tries it. I broke your light so what? Then i replace it. No sense in fighting like animals. |
Customised school notebooks is novelty in private schools, both primary and secondary, that is entrenched in Nigerian schools. It is a welcome and good innovation as it creates an identity for the school and the pupils, helps in advertising the schools (speaks where no one would) and is also a source of revenue for the schools. However, over the years, it has become a means of extortion because of greed. Or how do you explain schools selling a notebook between 100 and 200 naira (in Ibadan)? Amounts that would buy between 2 to 5 of the same notebooks in the market. Add that to the fact that many of these school notebooks cannot compete with the ones from the markets in quality, both in and out. Its no exaggeration. More annoying is the fact that pupils are FORCED, instead of being encouraged, to buy from school. Or what would you term the verbal harrassments meted out to pupils to buy school notebooks? Some teachers (in my son's school) would threaten to cane or not mark work not written in school notebooks. I had to play cool since its his first session in the school but I am ready to tackle them next time. I wont bother about other parents since most are ready to accept anything even though they complain behind. It should be my choice. This is another level of corruption that should be resisted. Let me not forget to mention that there are schools that price their notebooks moderately. And they are of good qualities. |
Ladies, just dont marry. Qed. |
Matthew 19:8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted divorce only as a CONCESSION TO YOUR HARD HEARTS, but it was not what God had originally intended. NLT (emphasis mine) In short Jesus says no basis for divorce. But since you men want divorce in the picture, the only condition is this: [NLT] Matthew 19:0 And I tell you this, whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery—unless his wife has been unfaithful.” Like i said earlier, God does not expect violence in the home. At times i wonder, why should there be violence in the home where each member should find refuge? Anyway, when life is threatened then some separation may be necessary and if need be divorce. |
It is clear from he scriptures that the reason allowed for divorce is UNFAITHFULNESS. Othewise God says 'i hate divorce'. So, most, if not all, reasons advanced for divorce these days are differences that can be resolved, for serious minded people. In any case, marriage is meant for serious minded people, because it calls for serious sacrifices. Most of the reasons we have these days are baseless and irresponsible. Let me add that it is not a must to divorce even for adultery, its your choice. Clearly from the scripture quoted by many on this thread, its because of THE HARDNESS OF YOUR HEART. It is clear to me also that God never expects a man to beat a woman, so i havent found any scripture that addresses violence in the home. So, though i dont suppprt divorce, but if a relationship is life threatening, i will support divorce as the VERY LAST option, if the beast of a man is not changing. Its a person who is alive that achieve anything at all. The more problem in this regard is the fact that the world is gradually moving towards irrsesponsibility, someone not being responsible to another (or group) who can call him to order, not just the government. I believe this is important to curb domestic violence, because i will support divorce in life threatening situations, as the very last option if the beast (male of female) doesnt change. |
salykely:' I hope you do not mean you are ready to kill because of dressing? To resist with youe life MAY imply readiness to fight and/or kill actually. Lets follow real peace please. Actually, i wonder atimes the kind of 'god' we worship self. One that is weak and so needs us to defend him to the extent of killing anther human! And i dont refer to muslims alone here. Didnt this God crown his creation with man? Hmmm! Beats my imagination. |
Whether credible or not, there is no better time to bring such news to fp than now so that the electorate can make their choice. Everyone will proclaim his own good nature for sure, especially now that election is around the corner. Has Buhari changed? I dont know though some would say he has. Its for individuals to make voting choice. The comments on this thread and many others show that we have a long way to go in this country. Particularly distresing is the readiness to insult one another instead of bringing forth sound arguments. Certainly many would resort to violence in he name of proving their points. Is this literacy? Or being educated? Hmmmmm! |
It can't be wrong. And its not wrong in my home. I do it intentionally sometimes. We are talking about showing affection and not romancing or advanced carressing or love making. Don't patents show affection to the children? And dont they disagrees strongly atimes in front of the children? And what is the use of the affection that is not shown? Its part of proper children training to show affection to your spouse in front of them. Selah! |
They asked for it. Surely a people deserve the leadership they get. Were there many episodes of this kind in the past few years? Just asking really. |
donwilly3: Bt couples stil run 2 dem 4 advice on marital issuesThe failure of these men only prove they are human. If you havent fallen or failed before one way or the other, you are not living but dead and do not have real counsel to give anyone, especially those who have just fallen or failed. Falling or failing is not the main issue but not rising up again is. |
