You didn't tell us what the voices have been saying to you. The voices could simply be your inner voices/thoughts and may be a result of major depression. Otherwise, the voice could be a result of Schizophrenic symptoms, or worse, DID.😒

It seems your understanding of the essence of prayer is still not grounded in that expressed in the books of the Israelite Scripture. Both agreements made by YHWH with His people, Israel(both the Constitution of the ancient nation of Israel and the Constitution of the Kingdom of God, which came later), were meant as agreements giving full authority over the lives and existence of the people to their God, YHWH. The responsibility of the promisees then was to abide by the terms and conditions of the agreement, also communicating their complaints, concerns, wants, needs, etc., i.e., pray to the promisor(YHWH) as they do so. 😒

Jesus Christ of Israel was born into the human world as an Israelite(a promisee to the agreement that was the Constitution of the ancient nation of Israel). By virtue of his birth, he was subject to the same requirements that other Israelites were born under. That includes the need to pray to the God of Israel, YHWH, who is also His Father. (He was not born above the Law.) 😒

Now, of course, the Promisor in both agreements -- YHWH -- made it clear that He would remain continuously available to the promisees either through His law, prophets, and/or spirit -- the communication channel remains open both ways. However, when we look at what YHWH communicates and what promisees communicate(pray for), we see that there is a difference to be noted. Take, for example, the prayers of David detailed in his Psalms. 😒

If what you are asking is which Prophets knew that the YHWH of Israel was not limited in the sense that He could take on human nature(complete with the experience without losing His divine essence in the process), then you are talking there of all of the Prophets beginning with Abraham. They all realized from the beginning that the Spirit of God is God. His Law, etc., is God.

The answer to the title question is straightforward. The reason why there are so many denominations in Christianity, and every other religion by the way, happens to be that they all depend, not on the literal meanings of claims/texts, but rather on interpretations. 😒

Look...It all depends on a lot of factors, so you would need to provide us with more details for us to determine which one of you is right or in the wrong here. I would advise you to do more to help out in the meantime since she is carrying your child, and the home is equally yours. Also, pregnancy is not an easy task. 😒

Depending on his age and the relationship it is not too much to ask the gateman especially if she is generous to him e.g giving him food, money as appreciation of been helpful to her.
