The advice is foolish since it assumes that these women have the capacity and resources to raise these children alone. Worse, the Nigerian situation does not favor single women(divorced ones included), so such advice is unnecessary and manipulation; underlying this supposed advice is the stewpid rationale that women are walking womb/baby-making machines, which is far from their reality.

Women do not need advice. Women should be allowed to individually make this decision for themselves if and when they are ready for it.

You need a plan in life. Since you don't have one, it makes sense for you to continue your education until such a time as you can come up with one that will help you move even one foot forward. Work hard to obtain the scholarship. Don't sit idly while working towards that, though, as there are many opportunities out there to continue educating yourself while you wait for the formal routes to open up.

Looking ahead, my goals for the next five years are to: Earn a PhD, Be married, and Become financially stable. So my question is: What should my plan be?

Shouldn't financial stability come before marriage? I mean, this is the year 2025, and it should be common sense to all at this point that having one's finances in check is a big step towards a happy life in general(marriage included).

Since you don't have any other plans, it is not a bad idea to consider going towards a PhD.
