➜ You earlier mentioned the guy was turned to a slave with full conviction even when the guy didn't clearly say so. As long your statement is not yet proven it will remain a wrong assumption. For now your assumption is wrong. But if the guy eventually proves you right then it becomes a right assumption.

Now, from real life observations, I have concluded that the west are more happier in marriages than us blacks and what we were raised with.
They leave the marriage immediately it's not working and prioritize their mental health and peace of mind.

as i see the question laugh wan killl me. My friend did court wedding, traditional wedding and church wedding thesame month. Next thing e told me was that i should do dsame in my own wedding and was like " do wetin" me wey no trust my own self? i dodge the bullet oo. That means despite their behaviour or attitude towards you, you were still benefiting from their benevolent. Widowed women of God find it difficult to remarry in Nigeria because many of the congregation are usually still attached to the late male spouses(GOs)

➜If your friend told you to delay your arrival at home because of a woman or he expects you to mop, I wouldn't really say it is bad treatment. It's only the inconvenience you have to endure for not having your own place.
