PoliticsRe: Nigeria Will Overcome Banditry, Corruption Through Prayers: APC Group by Kobojunkie: 5:34pm On Mar 14, 2025
Morbeta11:
➜Nigeria will overcome banditry, corruption through prayers: APC Group. Mr Muhammad believed that with prayers, Nigeria would overcome the problems of kidnapping, banditry, corruption and other vices that hinder its growth.
The Confederation of All Progressives Congress (APC) Support Groups says with prayer, the country will overcome its challenges.
The group’s director-general, Kailani Muhammad, said this on Thursday night at the annual Iftar programme organised for its members, friends and associates in Abuja.
Mr Muhammad believed that with prayers, Nigeria would overcome the problems of kidnapping, banditry, corruption and other vices that hinder its growth and development.
“The only few problems that we have as a country can be overcome with prayers—the issues of armed banditry, corruption and inciting narratives,” he said.
He urged Christians and Muslims to use the Lent and Ramadan fasting period to pray for peace and unity in Nigeria
.
Where is thunder to fire and decimate Mr. Muhammed and all of his cohorts for these insane utterances, abeg? 🙄🙄🙄🙄

The rich fraudulent ones among them are the saved ones? Or the impoverished masses in the same crowd waiting for their day and opportunity to begin taking advantage of the others, the saved ones? Or are you referring to those among them who never got the chance at success before death came for them? huh

You gave them the impression that they were entitled to your money for knowing you, yet you wonder why you are surrounded by people who feel that way?🙄🙄🙄

Two capable adults had a child, and the child got sick and had to be hospitalized. They invited you over and instead of letting him remain responsible for their own "mess", you took it on yourself to take over from them during the entire time, even going as far as to recruit them in hunting down religious fraudsters to convince them that their are alternatives to medical science which you even paid for. Yet, you wonder why entitlement followed? undecided

Captain4Jehovah:
The message isn't primarily meant for a debate or challenge! Whether there is correlation between what Jesus said regarding entering God's kingdom as used by me in the message and animals that entered Noah's ark is of no importance as touching the core message which is salvation. You don't correct a preacher on the pulpit! I don't need to be grammatically correct in order to preach the gospel. The message is important! Take the core message and utilize it.
Besides, the word "similar" and "same" are two meanings apart. "Same" means complete and identical in all way while "similar" is not, it's not complete. A fully loaded camel cannot enter the strait gate. The camel as illustrated is man. The load is sin. The strait gate is the way to God's kingdom. The load must be unloaded before the animal_man_could enter through the gate. Our will must be broken and laid off WILLINGLY.

In A SIMILAR CASE, GOD, BEING RIGHTEOUS, told Noah to pick both clean and unclean animals and bring them into the ark. God is a sanctifier!(Heb. 2:11). He sanctified them to meet His own purpose! No preferential treatment so far THEY YIELDED TO THE CALL though IT SEEMED TO US AS IF THEIR ADMITTANCE INTO THE ARK WAS EASY!

Now, the camel is in a state of struggle to enter the strait gate. The animals chosen by Noah also "would have been in the same state regardless the freedom and grace they had." Those who perished in the flood had a lengthy time of grace. They didn't bother to struggle and lay off their sins. They perished.
That apart! The people of this particular time are doing the same way Noah's contemporaries did. No one cares about his or her spiritual statehood. No one cares about God's kingdom. But man must struggle to enter the kingdom no matter what he faces and NO MATTER WHAT HIS SIN IS.
Of course it ain't up for debate since it is more like religious gobbledegook meant to keep manipulated and deceived the already gullible religious slaves. undecided

Where is the prayer in his name? Someone said when you pray address the father in heaven yet you still mention in his name!
✓ Are you saying Jesus is one of the gods and not God?
Religion is responsible for the notion that the term 'in His name" has the literal interpretation of calling out the actual name of Jesus Christ of Israel. Whereas, the Gospels never in fact state that the literal name of Jesus Christ of Israel is required when seeking answers to prayers or information from YHWH, the God of Israel and of Jesus Christ of Israel. Take the many instances where, rather than call him by His literal name, many of those who were healed by Him in the Gospels are instead said to have referred to Him using other terms such as "Son of David" or "Son of God", etc, yet they all got healed. :-

An MI6 agent serves the King /Queen of England. His official presence everywhere he/she goes is construed as being in the name of the King/Queen of England. He/she does not need to invoke the name of the King/Queen of England for this to be understood as such. He merely needs to identify as an MI6 agent for this to be implicitly understood or accepted as so.

Anyways, the point here is that a born-again — a citizen of the Kingdom of God that is Jesus Christ of Israel— would not need to involve the name of Jesus Christ of Israel to obtain help from the YHWH of Israel either. It is kind of same way the Israelites didn't have to go around shouting the name of YHWH before He, the God of Israel, knew to come to their rescue as His chosen people. undecided

2. Jesus Christ of Israel said His Father is greater than He is even as He is one --- in agreement -- with His Father, and the Father is in Him, going as far as to compare Himself to the bronze snake that was raised in the desert to the condemned Isrealite in the desert. 😐

Captain4Jehovah:
➜TEXT: MATTHEW 19:24 "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."
Camel is a burden animal which is used for transportation of goods_the maximum estimation of the goods it could carry is 400kg. It travels a long distance through a ️desert 🏜️ 🏜️🏜️ for days before arriving its final destination. It is unloaded, given drums of water to drink, showered with water and then rested before another journey is embarked.
In Israel, there is a particular place called "the needle's eye ". The letters of the words are clearly inscribed on the post 🏣🏣🏣 of the gate. It is a gate for only humans and unloaded animals to go through_"...it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle..."
In a similar case, countless clean animals were called into Noah's Ark while humans perished in the flood save Noah's. The world is being called today into Jesus saving grace Ark (Titus 2:11). How many will be saved for the world is going Noah's contemporaries' ways?
That there— in bold— is a very ridiculous attempt at a connection to conceive between what Jesus Christ of Israel said and the animals that supposedly entered Noah's ark! undecided

Christianity EtcRe: Is Deuteronomy Contradicting Numbers? Please Help Me Understand by Kobojunkie: 6:27pm On Mar 13, 2025
ThatWriterBoy:
➜Hello everyone! Thanks for your explanations on my last post. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with me. So I have entered the book of Deuteronomy, and I have some questions. On the surface, it seems as though there are some discrepancies when Deuteronomy and Numbers narrate the same events.
1. In Deuteronomy 1:9-18, Moses said he was the one that suggested the Israelites split themselves into groups and select leaders to judge the case, but Exodus 18:13-27 said it was Jethro's idea. Now that I look at it, it makes sense. Perhaps it was already a known fact that Jethro gave the idea, and there was no need saying it again in Deuteronomy.
Jethro was a nobody to the Israelites. He may have been Moses' father-in-law, but as far as the leadership of the Israelites, he was a nobody. Jethro gave the idea to Moses, but it was Moses who had to decide on behalf of the people of Israel. undecided
9 “At that time I told you, ‘I can’t take care of you by myself.
10 And now, there are even more of you. The Lord your God has added more and more people, so that today you are as many as the stars in the sky.
11 May the Lord, the God of your ancestors, give you 1000 times more people than you are now! May he bless you as he promised.
12 But I cannot take care of you and solve all your arguments by myself.
13 So choose some men from each tribe, and I will make them leaders over you. Choose wise men with experience who understand people.’
14 “And you said, ‘That is a good thing to do.’
15 “So I took the wise, experienced men you chose from your tribes, and I made them your leaders. In this way I gave you leaders over 1000 people, over 100 people, over 50 people, and over 10 people. I also gave you officers for each of your tribes.
16 “At that time I told these judges, ‘Listen to the arguments between your people. Be fair when you judge each case. It doesn’t matter if the problem is between two Israelites or between an Israelite and a foreigner. You must judge each case fairly.
17 You must treat everyone the same when you judge. You must listen carefully to everyone—whether they are important or not. Don’t be afraid of anyone, because your decision is from God. But if there is a case too hard for you to judge, bring it to me and I will judge it.’
18 At that same time, I also told you everything you must do. - Deuteronomy 1 vs 9 - 18
If you would throw out all bias and attempt to comprehend what is in fact written in Deuteronomy 1 above, you will find that this wasn't an attempt by Moses to take credit for the idea that was suggested to him by Jethro but more an attempt to ensure the people that the idea was sound and for their good. undecided
