ikorodureporta:According to Jesus Christ of Israel, in order to pray, a descendant of Israel who also happened to be born-again, only needed repeat the contents of Matthew 6 vs 9-13. The same passage explains that vain and repetitive prayers would be about the prayers offered by the Pharisees... not in line with the commands of Jesus Christ, i.e. set against the Law of God. ![]() |
killuminati:Sizzling(steaming) food is not the same as smoldering(smoking) food, which is what the OP looks more of. If you are not aware of the difference between the appearance of vapor coming out of a steaming pot of beans, for example, and smoke coming out of a burning pot of beans, then you shouldn't even bother engaging abeg! ![]() |
Antichristian2:While I am not here to hold brief for OP and his religious mashup there, I would like to point out here that your enemies are not necessarily Jesus Christ of Israel's enemies, though. According to Jesus Christ of Israel, His enemies are those descended from Israel who would choose to use His name for their benefit and glory. ![]() |
chubinwa:LOL.... Alchohol was created by YHWH for the pleasure of His people. Even Jesus Christ of Israel drank it to the point that He was labeled a wine bibber and a glutton by His enemies. ![]() Religion, which is the source of your particular bias against alcohol, is a scam! ![]() |
Adakintroy:Now I am certain I am talking to someone who is literally off the benders! ![]() |
Antichristian2:The parables reiterate the facts revealed through the prophets before Jesus Christ of Israel's time, which is that not all of the flock of Israel — Jacob — will be redeemed. The final sifting, according to Jesus Christ, is done by way of the judgment of Jesus Christ, which involves the angels first gathering the goats and then the sheep. YHWH's judgment which took place over 1900 years ago seems to have been the beginning of the sifting. ![]() |
killuminati:The picture you posted there is not of smoke/smoldering food but steam. ![]() |
HaneefahRN:The "do what works for you" mentality is to blame for the current state of poverty in Nigeria, with over 170,000,000 Nigerians living in abject poverty and that number projected to balloon to over 300,000,000 before 2050. ![]() What is made obvious by these facts is that it is time to re-educate the Nigerian girl and woman, to cause them to realize that they are responsible for lifting themselves and their children — many generations after — from poverty. As a matter of fact, what is clear is that the generational curse of poverty, which so many are afraid of, is caused by women who are raised in poverty entering into marriage agreements without first conquering poverty. Yeah, the ones literally most responsible for spreading the curse are the women. ![]() Consider a case where a woman from a poverty background is impregnated then abandoned either before marriage or after— it does not matter how long the marriage lasted— by her lover. She is left to fend for her child and is unable to provide it the best life possible as a result of her poverty situation. She might try to work hard at that point to escape poverty, but the fact that she has another mouth to feed and cater to will always limit her abilities at success. The vast majority who find themselves in these situations not only never escape poverty but are likely to raise children possessed by the poverty way of reasoning and processing life, leading to repeat of the same patterns in their own lives. ![]() |
Misterone:Hot pots are common everywhere, not just in Urhobo land. The picture makes it look so much like smoke and not steam at all. ![]() |
Afolue:. Society, powered by men, made it a norm for men to take care of women in marriage. So, if you have a problem with that, go and face the men, not the women. ![]() 2. Menopause? Science and medicine have made it possible for women to have children even past age 60, so menopause is no longer a valid reason for any woman to choose to enter marriage before first pulling herself out of poverty. ![]() |
bengdededeng:Pay close attention to the question asked. I asked why the soup looked like it was smoking — not steaming—so telling me stories about a clay pot was not an answer. Hot pots are popular all over. Again, that there in the picture looks a lot like smoke and not steam. ![]() |
bigpicture001:. That looks a lot more like it is smoldering— that in the picture looks a lot like smoke, not steam—not boiling! ![]() |
idahme:This question of yours, in the context of this topic, makes absolutely no sense of any kind. The argument here is that women forgo marriage in their 20s in order to spend that time bettering themselves and gaining financial dependence — escaping poverty— before they finally settle down in their 30s. If such a woman decides even then to find a financially well off man who can cater to her needs, what part of that is deceit, particularly since society considers it a norm that a man take care of his wife's needs in marriage? ![]() 2. Avoid gobbledegook abeg! I can't stand it! ![]() |
HaneefahRN:Statistics show that the chances of poverty happening to those who first established themselves financially before marriage are significantly lower than poverty remaining the lot of those who entered into marriage while living in poverty. Again, you have Nigeria as a test case to work with. It is a country where the vast majority of those stuck in poverty today were not only raised in poverty themselves but also chose to get married and start a family before escaping the clutches of poverty. What we have today, with over 50 million families living under abject poverty and with many others struggling to keep from being dragged below by it, is not by chance. ![]() Poverty does not follow people. Rather, poverty happens to people, and it does so in the form of shackles — their decision-making abilities, outlook, and way of life are impacted by it. But the good is that people can, even then, through self education/awareness, individuals can decide against poverty. ![]() |
Afolue:She will have her money to keep caring for herself with until one finally shows up, I guess! Better than living in poverty with a man and even children before that point in time. ![]() |
IbnB:So long as men are willing to marry them without needing to bring anything of value to the table, why shouldn't women freely take advantage? Focus your angst on your fellow men and leave the women, abeg! ![]() |
TheBillyonaire:It is this way of reasoning that landed over 170,000,000 million Nigerians smack dab emersed in poverty today without a way out, for many generations to come! ![]() |
TheBillyonaire:And Nigeria has over 170,000,000 NIgerians living under abject poverty by this generation as a result of the mythical beliefs you hold. Stability in poverty is a delusion. ![]() |
bigpicture001:So, it isn't the food, but the black pot that is producing the smoke(not steam)? ![]() |
nedekid:The plate is the source of the smoke(not steam)? ![]() |
Tunaji:Please take your semi-illiterate drivel to someone else! ![]() |
HaneefahRN:Many women who also married early had or got themselves an education and also boast of a ministore where they sell goods or maybe even a market stall — handwork —but poverty continues to follow them no matter what. ![]() |
DigitB:Let me be sure that I get this right! In Nigeria today, the vast majority of women live below the poverty lines both in marriage and outside where they are generally in poverty as a result of being raised in poverty. We are talking many generations mired in poverty today — a population of well over 100 million women in Nigeria. But here you are attempting to convince us, against all logic, mind you, that by marrying and bearing children in poverty, a woman aligns her goals properly? ![]() Are you people OK in the head at all? ![]() |
DeeScan:Grilled meat that was burnt to charcoal? ![]() |
Tunaji:What in the world is all of this rambling for? ![]() |
Tunaji:60s, 70s, 80s, yet we know that over 170 million Nigerians currently live in poverty despite this claimed education and jobs you say they have? ![]() Are you OK? ![]() |
killuminati:Sizzling produces smoke and not steam? ![]() |
Misterone:Does the use of a drying pot cause the meat to smoke(not steam) even after it has been placed in the soup? ![]() |
DigitB:Millions of girls who have known nothing but poverty in their lives should go on to marry when they reach 18 and cement their lives of poverty and that of their offspring as a result. Many of you don't seem able to reason logically with your brains. ![]() |
Tunaji:Your kind of advise is the major reason why over 170 million Nigerians are currently living below abject poverty today, with many of them having been caged in poverty by their parents/ancestors before them. ![]() 2. Companion and nurse in poverty? How many people living in abject poverty in Nigeria today are enjoying said marriage? ![]() |
Empresa:She is doing so by applying wisdom, something many don't consider at all. That is a good thing ! ![]() |
occfx:I think by "enough money," she probably meant something along the lines of escaping the poverty threshold completely before then proceeding to raise kids. ![]() 2. Over 170 million Nigerians today live below the poverty line, many of them as a result of poverty having been passed down to them by their parents/ancestors. This means the vast majority of Nigerians currently in their 20s are living under the poverty line, and many of them believe that somehow marriage will magically save them from a life of poverty, a notion that defies reality. ![]() Early marriage, in and of itself, isn't a problem at all. Rich people, for example, are known to arrange early marriages for their children with other rich people, and these marriages typically solidify their wealth and connections as a result. However, for people coming from a poverty background, early marriage mostly serves to exacerbate the condition, propelling it to a generational status in their lives and that of their offspring. ![]() |
