SmartyPants:The man would buy a ticket to stay with a woman he knows is pregnant for another man and probably lives with him? See, why did I insist that people should not be carried away by these snippets online and instead strive to learn the whole story to, in fact, learn what transpired? ![]() |
ijebosb:I stand corrected. Our results advance our understanding of prolonged fasting in humans beyond a merely energy-centric adaptions towards a systemic response that can inform targeted therapeutic modulation.https://www.nature.com/articles/s42255-024-01008-9 Researchers followed 12 healthy volunteers taking part in a seven-day water-only fast. The volunteers were monitored closely on a daily basis to record changes in the levels of around 3,000 proteins in their blood before, during, and after the fast. By identifying which proteins are involved in the body’s response, the researchers could then predict potential health outcomes of prolonged fasting by integrating genetic information from large-scale studies.https://www.qmul.ac.uk/media/news/2024/fmd/study-identifies-multi-organ-response-to-seven-days-without-food.html |
ijebosb:Storyland! 🙄🙄🙄 When I said post it on Reddit and mentioned we should seek more informed contributions, I meant people whose claims were backed by research-backed evidence, not more unverified opinions of claims such as the one we have here. 😩😩😩 |
ijebosb:Here's a challenge for you. Go post this supposed evidence of yours on Reddit and come back to tell us, or better yet share a link so we can follow the conversation. Here on Nairaland, you can easily fool people who are not aware but people on Reddit are certainly more informed and can better scrutinize your claim. ![]() |
ijebosb:Please stop telling us these lies. Watch the video to understand how what you claim is scientifically impossible! Do the math for heaven's sake! ![]() 2. Again, unless you are literally cutting out the pounds of fat with a knife from your body, there is no way for you to rid yourself of 1lb of body weight per day. Watch the videos to learn this yourself. ![]() |
Righthussle:They say.... Where is this thing they say to you written in the book, though? They say a lot of things that are not actually recorded in the book, so what does the book have to do with any of what they claim? ![]() |
PulaPower:The books of the Bible aren't the source of the fallacies here. Rather, religion — Judaism, Christianity, and Islam — in its many attempts to explain away what is recorded in the books, is the root of widespread fallacies. ![]() |
Chilipepper:They were returned, not that they were denied a visa in the first place? Abeg, tell us the truth of what really happened o'jare!🙄🙄🙄 |
Squere:Direct this at your pastors and church people who ignore the suffering of their members, the same members from whom they collect all the money they donate to Orphanages. These same pastors who sell you all on Christianity are the same elements who advise their members to ignore the needs and plight of their family members to ensure tithes and offering money always dey for them to pay in church every church service. ![]() |
Newgoodkk:1. According to the books of the Gospel, the same Jesus Christ equally made clear through direct word — figures of speech included — that He was sent by His Father only to the bloodline of Jacob. ⚉ In John 6 vs 37-38, Jesus Christ proclaimed, "The Father gives me my people. Every one of them will come to me. I will always accept them. I came down from heaven to do what God wants, not what I want." This statement invariably means Jesus Christ of Israel had no choice in picking the people that would be His; His Father is the one who made the decision as far as the people Jesus Christ was sent. ⚉ In Matthew 15 vs 20, Jesus Christ announced that He was sent by His Father only to the Lost Sheep of Israel— the bloodline of Jacob. By this, He officially declared Himself savior to the race of Israelites and not of any other race — Jesus Christ of Israel. ⚉ In John 3 vs 14 - 18, we learn from Jesus Christ of Israel that the people whom His Father loves — YHWH(God of Israel) were the very same people whom Moses, who was sent before Him, raised the Serpent in the desert to save. He went on to describe them as " the World"(a metonymy, a figure of speech, used as reference to the condemned of Israel), which God loved. ⚉ In Matthew 7 vs. 6, Jesus Christ of Israel openly warned His followers against giving what is Holy to the dogs — non-Israelites— declaring the dogs incapable of handling that which is Holy — they are unqualified to do so. ⚉ In Matthew 10 vs. 1 - 6, when Jesus Christ of Israel had the opportunity to send His disciples out to announce the Kingdom of God, He sent them only to the Israelites. ⚉ Then, in Matthew 28 vs. 16-20 and Mark 16 s 15 - 18, applying the same metonymy he had earlier used, Jesus Christ of Israel dispersed His followers into the World which He had previously described to His followers. ⚉ To seal it all, in Luke 24, Jesus Christ proclaimed that His Word is Everlasting meaning it can never be changed ---- not by Him, or any human being even after He is dead and gone. Jesus Christ of Israel NEVER indicated that He was sent to or came to save non-Israelites. The lie that He did was fabricated entirely by those of the religions of Christianity and of Islam. 2. You should ask your religious overlords whom you allowed to sell you the lie that the man known as Jesus Christ of Israel came to rescue you all from your lives that question. Jesus Christ of Israel made it emphatically clear by His Words that His Gospel can't be handled by those who are not of the blood of Jacob, so whatever you all have been spreading has been anything but the Gospel of Him. ![]() 3. Well, each has its specifics as far as benefits and the lot. For instance, ⚉ the Christian god that sells Christians over 46000 different denominations(contradictions, really), which Christians claim are somehow linked to a book that only applies to Israelites, sells benefits that seem only to benefit their religious leaders and gods. As far as the Christian heaven, there seems to be over 46000 of them as well, with each denomination describing how to enter each. If you ask me, I think it is all a reference to the kingdom created by the GO of each faction. ⚉ the Muslim god, Allah, equally sells them many different denominations(contradictions, really), with each faction believing different ideas as far as how to be a good Muslim and whatnot. Much like then Christians, the only ones who seem to benefit the most from the arrangement are their imams and overlords at the top of the organizational hierarchy, and their ideas of the Muslim heaven are typically as based on the private delusions of their Imams, sheikhs, and so on, if you ask me. ⚉ Greek gods sell their own ideas as far as Greek enlightenment and paradise. There are many new ideas thrown out there about the benefits and whatnot. So, you would need to consult the particular faction of your choice for details. ⚉ Ogun and those who worship him are pretty much the same. A similar pattern as expressed above is observed there, too. You have different denominations/factions with different ideas as far as how to access Ogun and his end benefit. .... |
Savingrace678:That isn't a good idea given that staying married the the man leaves the door open for him and his family to come in to claim ownership or anything that supposedly belongs to you should anything happen to you. In Nigeria, once married, the woman's property is considered to belong to the man she is married to unless she has it in the name of others. Even then that leaves her vulnerable and is not as advisable. ![]() |
Nnamdipapa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7yM0TKvUm4?si=ZUGO70sxgAP5heNi This is just one of the TED Ed videos on YouTube that you can watch to help you get on the right track as far as losing weight is concerned. ![]() I am not trying to enter into a useless debate with you here. I am simply pointing out that the science of what you claim does not add up as all. What you describe amounts to juju. Even people who lose weight every so often for professional reasons -- actors, models, celebrities --- do not report such successes in so short time as you claim and this is with all the professionals they have working with them and all. ![]() |

Newgoodkk:. There are over 4000 deities out there. The chances that you and I worship the same deity is at least 1/4000. And the deity you can qualify to worship is not based solely on claims you make but on the particulars of the deity in question. So when I refer to that which you worship as your god or deity, I do not do so in ignorance. ![]() 2. The bible, which you also claim to worship, specifically states that YHWH — God of Israel —is father only to those who are of the bloodline of Jacob. What this means is that as a Nigerian, if you are not directly linked to the Jacob as your ancestors, you are not qualified to claim Him as your God. ![]() |
YoungBTCxchange:He was rich doing what? What company did he work at and from when to when? Where? ![]() |
DaddyCoool:Nonsense! ![]() There are over 4000 different deities defined out there. Clearly, yours isn't one of the many supposed omnipotent ones out there. 😂😂😂😂😂 |
Feministolash:From Nigeria to Kazakhstan for what? Are you back in Nigeria now? ![]() |

Gabrielshow24:It ended up being wrong because you conveniently asserted it as such? ![]() 2. She makes clear that her god is an impotent one. I, in my response, reassert her very own declaration. However, you feel I am at fault for doing this? ![]() Religion is nothing but a waste of the human mind and time! 🙄🙄🙄🙄 |
Gabrielshow24:She gave us an analogy to explain her beliefs. When question on the content of the analogy, she reasserted its validity. Yet you think the contradiction revealed in all of her explanations are not part and parcel of her very belief? Are you high? ![]() 2. Again, stop using terms you lack a correct understanding of. 🙄🙄 |
Gabrielshow24:So, the fact that her beliefs are contradictory— ridilled with falsehoods— is somehow to be blamed on me? 😂😂😂😂 I don tell you... stop using terms you have little to no understanding of. ![]() |
Gabrielshow24:Nonsense! ![]() |
Gabrielshow24:The analogy in question was deemed faulty, not by her but by you without correcting, leading me to suspect that the analogy is not the problem here but your desire to deny any conclusions drawn from i that may not fit your particular delusion. ![]() And please, resist the urge to use terms you lack adequate understanding of. ![]() |
Gabrielshow24:She did not commit a fallacy in revealing that her god is not, in fact, omnipotent as she initially wanted for us to believe. She revealed a truth about the particular deity she holds to. ![]() |
Gabrielshow24:She exposes your god as not being omnipotent. And you want me to leave it at that? ![]() |
Gabrielshow24:Is her phrasing wrong, or is her entire premise wrong? In one statement she claims her god is all-powerful only to reveal in the next that he really isn't. ![]() |
DaddyCoool:Your particular confusion is palpable! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Again, your deity is directly opposed by another deity out there — the antimatter to his matter — is what you have been insisting upon all this time. But somehow, you refuse to accept what you said as that? ![]() |
Expanse2020:Try to pay close attention so you don't go running away there with your delusions confused as mine. I didn't say he copied the Bible. Rather, I said, he lifted characters from the Book of Genesis, Exodus -....Deuteronomy, Daniel, and even the Gospels, all of which are contained in the Bible. In addition, Mohammed also wrote of Isa — whom He connects with the same Jesus Christ written of in the Bible. From this, we can clearly infer that Mohammed did not consider corrupt the accounts of Israelite Scripture in Daniel and the Gospels. He accepted that these characters existed, providing credence to the content of the books you now want us to believe were corrupt. ![]() 2. There is no evidence to be gotten from the Quran of anything since, according to you, it lifts ideas— Abraham, Moses, Gabriel, ..., Jesus Christ are written of only in the Bible— from a book that you believe to be corrupt. ![]() |
DaddyCoool:So in this binary world set up by your deity, he is directly opposed by these any elements-- antimatter, right? ![]() |
