“I expected youths to storm different streets and protest against the high cost of living, but I have not seen anything that shows that they are serious,” Amaechi declared.
Amaechi’s comments come at a time when Nigerians are grappling with the effects of subsidy removal, high inflation, and a generally tough economic climate.

A lawyer in Enugu State was recently fined the sum of N150m for both general and examplary damages arising from defamation of character of a fellow lawyer. Freedom of speech is not freedom to peddle falsehoods about people.

Defamation can only be ascertained by the court and this after the Plaintiff has filed a suit in the courts against the defendant, not before.
