Esinwaju: ■ She is not saying it is wrong. What she is saying is that there can be more to that. Can everybody become a Certified Nursing Assistant? This thing is simple. There can be more than that in what sense? The country hires those who are trained as CNAs from other countries when it is unable to fill its need for CNAs from within, right? Countries equally invite other professionals for various positions when they find it has needs that cannot be filled locally. So, your question — can everybody become a Certified Nursing Assistant?— does not compute at all. |

Esinwaju: She is sending a message to the policy makers, telling them that they can do better. Immigrants should be allowed to maximise their potentials without prejudice. Again, by referring to the immigrant choice of work as bottom wiping? Referring to them as bottom wipers— recall that these people were not forced to accept these positions, to begin with— is a form of prejudice for Pete's sake! |

If immigrants are invited to come to occupy CNA— Certified Nursing Assistant— positions and they honor the invite, what is wrong with that? Why refer to them as bottom wipers? |

Esinwaju: This thread is a mess. It's almost as if nobody played the video and if they did I doubt if they comprehended what was said. She is not mocking anybody. She is only highlighting the limitations of being an immigrant in a system that can offer much more than just certain types of jobs. Many immigrants are highly skilled in many areas so it should be a case of round pegs in round holes for them. How this flew over so many heads is what I actually shocked about. I watched the video. Why didn't she use the term "immigrants" rather than refer to the job title itself rather than refer to them as bottom wipers? |

casualobserver: ■ But excuse me are they not bottom wipers? It is what it is deal with it. If you don’t want to be called a bottom wiper fix your country. They do so much more than that. Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for many patient care tasks to ensure that each patient receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need. They often have the following responsibilities:
↪Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility ↪Preparing each patient’s room with necessary items such as blankets, pillows, medical equipment and toiletries ↪Helping patients eat and take medications ↪Making sure patients have regular meals and proper medication dosages ↪Monitoring vitals and behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff ↪Transferring patients with low mobility from wheelchair to bed and vice versa ↪Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores So the term "bottom wipers" is a form of denigration that should be frowned upon by any reasonable being. |

PUNCH Metro learnt that the incident took place around 6:00 am on September 30. The Spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident to PUNCH Metro on Tuesday and stated that the victim was believed to have ingested insecticide to end his life due to the hardship he was allegedly facing. Our correspondent learnt that the deceased’s sister, identified as Funmilayo, reported the incident to the Lafenwa Police Division after discovering her brother’s lifeless body in his room, with a bottle of insecticide found beside him. She said, “A friend of the deceased visited his home and asked to see him. Upon entering the room, he discovered the victim’s body on the floor and raised the alarm after finding that the victim had ingested a mixture of insecticide and herbal concoction. “He left a note written in Yoruba language, explaining the reasons behind his decision. In the note, he expressed frustration with his life and stated that he felt he had no choice but to end it. A discreet investigation is currently underway.”[/quote]Why did he choose to die in a hiding place abeg? |

How can u say God cursed marriage? The same God that commanded in Genesis 1:28 that we should populate the earth with our kind? And u talk so much about Jesus yet u know little or nothing. If believers are cursed then what is the purpose of Jesus coming to live, suffer and die? ■ You are indirectly saying Jesus and the purpose of his death and resurrection is pointless. You are just a very knowledgeable agent of hell and u know how to twist the word to suit ur agenda of darkness. I know u will counter me with another twisted verse soon See reasoning for Pete's sake! What you are invariably trying to argue is that because God blessed man in Genesis 1 and Genesis 2, the same God could not have cursed man in Genesis 3. You sure say you dey alright so? Clearly, the genesis of your own problem isn't my person but your obvious inability to critically reason the information presented to you. 2. Nonsense! The purpose of Jesus Christ has absolutely nothing to do with you and what you think. But as I said before, you Christians don't like Jesus Christ at all that is why you never pay attention to any of what He in fact said. Rather, you fish around for texts to convoluted in order that you may continue living according to your own ideas. For instance, Jesus Christ said in His Kingdom of God, those who are blessed are those who live as Eunuchs. In the end, He proclaimed that women who had children where to weep for themselves and their children— the Kingdom had nothing to offer them and their children. He proclaimed that rather, God's blessing lay with those who were barren and women who lived as Eunuchs too. But this is something you Christians abhor and fight against with every drop of blood in your veins, among other things of course. |

DMO said, “The major addition to the Public Debt Stock was the inclusion of the N22.712tn securitized FGN’s Ways and Means Advances. The securitization of the FGN Ways and Means Advances after receipt of requisite approvals, has enabled its inclusion in the Total Public Debt Stock. “This development, which was welcomed by development partners amongst others, has improved debt transparency and led to the reduction in Debt Service costs associated with the Ways and Means Advances. “Other additions to the Debt Stock were New Borrowings by the FGN and the subnationals from local and external sources.” Rather than pay off the debt, he decided to have it marked as debt for Nigerians(and future generations) to pay off so he can go on to say he has paid it off? |
