I would probably wouldn't narrate it at all since I am merely a counselor and not a storyteller, and not a legal officer to prosecute or judge these things. People need to be able to trust that their counselors will not broadcast confidential information or use them for personal gain. This is a breach of that trust.

In Nigeria, it is a crime. The one assaulted has every right by law to report and see to it that the one who assaulted is charged. Physical wounds and injuries are not the only evidence to be had of assaults. If a person slaps you, for instance, that slap is an assault even if no physical wound or injury is reported. You can have that person charged and demand compensation for the psychological damages even then.
