God never changed His Mind. The Law of Moses remains, even to this very day, the National Constitution of God's Nation of Israel in the Land of Canaan. It is an Eternal Covenant meaning the Law never changes and hence God never changes His Mind.

3. Running from what Law? The same God who created the Nation of Israel in the Land of Canaan over which He then placed His Law is the same who destroyed the Nation, scattering the people out of it beginning in 720 AD when He used the Assyrian Army to decimate the nation of Israel, and then beginning in about 70 AD when He used the Roman army to punish and scatter the remnant of His Israel(the Jewish subset) out of the land. That Law continues to this day but because the land is no more as God of Isreal would have it, it cannot be implemented or abided by by anyone or group of peoples.

Fortunately, the same Jesus Christ who came to fulfill the Old Law of Moses, the Last Prophet sent by the God of Israel to His people, brought the new agreement/Law which God made with His people through the line of David. That new agreement or Law is for a Kingdom that is not of this world and is equally eternal. That is the Law that those of the House of Jacob are expected to commit themselves to as a path to redemption from their wickedness and refusal to obey God's Old Law while they had the chance to.
