Metrofox:There was no Karma. Rather all those around him mostly suffered. ![]() |
Metrofox:Absolutely nothing can happen to a holy and righteous man of God without God's permission. David was a holy and righteous man of God. All that happened to Him was as permitted by God Himself. ![]() |
thedio:Yes, those societies were built by many of those whom you Africans like to regard as spoilt brats and ruled by them too. There is no such thing as basking in Old Glory in a society that is continually changing all the times. ![]() Indians, and even the Chinese learn from those societies to raise their children in almost the same way name of those spoilt brats were and are reaping benefits already. ![]() |

AbuTwins:1. Those verses equally make clear that Jesus Christ is NOT the Father; Jesus Christ is NOT YHWH, God of Israel. Yes, Jesus Christ is born from some of the essence that is His Father, but He made it abundantly clear in His Gospel that He is not His Father, the God of Israel — YHWH. ![]() 2. The Holy Spirit comes directly from God the Father - John 14 vs 15 - 26. God is True— Every Word of God is Truth—and His Spirit of Truth which is the Father is the one who is the Holy Spirit in the Kingdom of God. ![]() 3. Interesting assertion there by Paul! ![]() 4. I see what you are trying to do here, but I think you are very wrong. You are attempting to separate God's very own Spirit of Truth from the person of God. The problem with achieving such an idea is that you no longer have the same God. if God is separated from His Spirit of Truth that would mean there is no longer a Truth element to the person of God and He ceases to be the same God. I think Paul is more right here in his assertion than you. Jesus Christ said NO ONE— implying no human or being apart from God, the Father — knows. The Spirit of Truth is part and parcel of who the Father is. (You remove Him from the Father and what you have is an image/idol of the Father, of lesser quality than the Almighty.) so cannot be considered in this case to be an entity detached or separate from the Father Him. In the very same way, even the Spirit of Eternal Life cannot be detached or separated from the person of the Father, the Spirit of Truth also cannot. |
triplechoice:1. So, you do agree then that once that marriage license is issued or the ceremonials are taken care of, what one has is marriage — the product —regardless of what comes afterward? Case closed then! ![]() 2. Oi Vey! One moment you pretend you respect the fact that all marriages are unique as they are and are valid even at that, the next moment you come up suggesting that it is all based on experience. what the heck is up with you? Make up your fking mind for Pete's sake! ![]() 3. The subject of this conversation is the fact that more and more are opting out of the marriage agreement and choosing to remain single or cohabit instead. By improving benefits available to the married... reduced taxation for instance, housing vouchers for the married, child-tax credit for the marriage, equal division of marriage property in the case of divorce, alimony, and all of that good stuff, you go a long way to encourage individuals to consider marriage than the alternatives. This is already been used in other places and proven to be of value. ![]() 4. Look, abandon this talk cause you seem to have an agenda I am altogether not the least bit interested in as it is clear you have a hard time staying on time and would rather ramble on about how trying marriage is the way to know marriage when even the 5-year-old here with basic social-emotional learning (SEL) experience has figured out these things.. ![]() |

Hezzyluv:Stop that nonsense. There are children all the world over who were not handled with iron rods yet turned out good citizens at the end of the day. God has absolutely nothing to do with the decision taken by your father at all, and no, he was not right at all. ![]() Anyways, I do not believe OP is calling for parents to use iron rods on their children. ![]() |
Divoc19:You reported her to management and you are running away? ![]() LOL... Someone did well to ask what you would do if a hubby came home with the same excuse from his many jobs. And if you started running your own business and happened to have difficult customers, are we to believe you would equally choose to shut down your business then too? ![]() |
Expanse2020:I deal with the facts as stated in Scripture. And not the meaningless ideas and gobbledegook that exude from the minds of religious entities whose major driver is the glorification of the ego and nothing else. ![]() |
AbuTwins:Jesus Christ is an Israelite and all Israelites in the Land of Canaan at that time were required to do exactly that which He did, which accomplishes the Law of Moses. That is what He meant. He came bearing God's New Covenant and Law, the Davidic Covenant which God promised to the House of Israel alone. He had to give that Law to His people as it was their only path to redemption for their failure to meet the standard that is God's Old Law. But to do that, Jesus Christ had to fulfill the Law like every good Israelite in the land of Canaan at the time was required to by the God of Israel. ![]() Jesus Christ fulfilled the requirements of the Law as commanded by the God of Israel and was approved righteous by the God of Israel for doing so. However, because He was hung on the tree to die— also approved by the God of Israel—, He got on Himself the curse of God's Law which He took with Him to the grave. Jesus Christ was a righteous man cursed by the very same Law by which He was approved righteous. He then rose from the grave 3 days later— retaining His righteousness but beating the curse of the Old Law which was meant to destroy Him completely in the grave— causing Him to cease to exist in the grave. It is for this reason that Jesus Christ was raised as a beacon— like the bronze snake that was raised in the desert to all those condemned to die in the desert — to save the Lost sheep of Isreal, themselves cursed to die by the Old Law so that those of them who would accept Him would not perish but have eternal Life in addition to the New Covenant which Jesus Christ was given by His Hand to give only to them. ![]() Now to your question regarding the "Love law" that Jesus Christ fulfilled from the Old Law of Moses, that Law in Leviticus 19 vs 18 is the second greatest commandment of all of the almost 613 commandments and statutes that make up the Old Law of Moses. By fulfilling the Two greatest Laws of the Old Law of Moses, He was able to fulfill all of the other 611 commandments and statutes — receive credit for them all — of the same Law. ![]() 18 Forget about the wrong things people do to you. Don’t try to get even. Love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord. - Leviticus 19 vs 18As the law says, it means Jesus Christ went around loving His neighbors exactly as He loved His self. This, of course, after first making sure He loved the God of Israel with all His heart, mind, body, and Soul. And to love the God of Israel means to obey His every commandment and statute without exception. ![]() |
Texcyndy:Ah! You are not referring to witches who hate prayers but to those who pray prayers no different from that considered witchcraft, abi? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Expanse2020:This is what Jesus Christ Himself said. Eternal Damnation(Hell in the Kingdom of God) requires one to possess eternal life and only someone who is first born-again has this requirement. All others simply perish in their graves - cease to exist. If you have not figured out this particular Truth of God at this point almost 2000 years after the fact of the Gospel, it means you have not been paying attention to Jesus Christ at all, something religious people are notorious for doing. ![]() |
Ubenedictus:I didn't only read some passages of Scripture, so stop lying there, and face the message squarely abeg! ![]() |
Talismann:Na so oo! But as e be so, she probably can't afford it or she will run to one pastor saying she is trying to get counseling. ![]() |
Texcyndy:Pray? LOL.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Growing:"Burning through" is the right term to describe what is happening. The country did not buy any tangible progress for its people with the almost $2 Billion that has been spent so far. All it has achieved is making the Naira look good, a look that is likely to immediately disappear the moment it takes its hands off manipulating the value of its money if care is not taken. ![]() |
Paramount01: Abeg no vex... Na me make mistake think say na person I dey talk to so. No vex at all. ![]() |
Paramount01:1. Dollar never came down. Dollar has not changed in value against the Naira since all of this began last year. ![]() 2. CNN did not just clear $7 Billion in Forex backlogs last month. Instead CNN cleared the last amount of $1.5 Billion as of March 21st of last month, almost 3 weeks ago. Yet the reserves continues to dip down with no end in sight even till today. ![]()

AfDapone:There is only Christianity the religion which is modelled after the very same Religion that Jesus Christ pronounced woes on during His time here on earth proclaiming it to be of the antichrist. can anything born of that which is of the antichrist be true? ![]() |
predictor1:You call this a dip of less than a billion dollars when so far what seems like over 2 Billion is gone down the drain so far -- with near no immediate end in sight-- and Nigeria has nothing -in the way of development, industry investment, or even production ramp up of goods to show for it? You know what, na my fault engaging you. No vex at all! ![]()
|
Abaziaka:What the other typed is near correct. It is for that reason that Nigeria's reserves is stored in dollars and not naira. It is for this reason that dollars are being spent to make the naira look better than it really is. And your politicians continue to spend in dollars to this day even as they tell you all to do away with your own dollars. ![]() Dollar has not moved in value much in all of this time. Rather, it has been the naira struggling even to this day. Government may have poured over $1 billion down the hole in the last 30 days to shore up the naira but what remains missing are infrastructure projects, inproved and increased local production of good, etc. so what happens when Government stops pouring dollars down the drain to raise the Naira? Na only Dangote and NNPC be Nigeria hope, again ? ![]() |
AbuTwins:Yet again, you ask your question from ignorance, it seems. ![]() What do you understand it means for Jesus Christ to fulfill the Old Law of Moses? ![]() |
Resonance2019:What has prayer to do with anything? Why are you folks so uselessly sheepish in your reasoning? ![]() The government has been shoring up the currency using the foreign reserves and there still seems no end to be seen in the dip even as of yesterday with approximately $ 2,000,000,000 already down the drain. So what exactly is wrong with asking how much more this mission to beautify the Nairaland will have to cost Nigerians when it isn't that they gain industrial development or a boost in local production of all after all those billions of dollars have disappeared. ![]() |
Paramount01:So you admit then that the Government in fact dipped deep into the reserves to shore up the Naira during the last 30 days, right? ![]() |
Clemostical:it does?

Penguin2:ROFLMAO!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This response is so funny abeg!! Compare Nigeria with DUbai... ka!!!!

FreeStuffsNG:I don't believe that tale makes sense at all given that as of March 21st,2024, the news was that the CBN had settled all Forex backlog. So why the continuous fall in the reserves even after that time? The news had it that by March 21st,2024, the Government had completed payment on the final $1.5 Billion ![]() “If they say they have cleared the trapped funds, they should show us figures. They should tell us how much have been cleared. The last I checked, the status quo still remains the same,” Nwokoma said. So, why is the reserve still falling more than 3 weeks after? ![]() The chart below is from the CBN Government site today and does not corroborate any of what you claim. Rather it seems instead to line up with the Naira appreciation trend of the last, yes, 30 days. ![]()

McLizbae:What you described there does not happen everywhere at all. I have lived in a different country for the past two decades, and the opposite of what you described is the case out here. The naira has been fluctuating against the dollar for a long time now; the Government has artificially caused it to go back down in the last 30 days straight, but where is the assurance it will not go back up again once the Government takes its hands off of it? Where is the guarantee that Naira will continue to appreciate or at least stabilize against the dollar at this point or some other down the road? Where is the increased investment in infrastructure, production, and industry? Nothing to be seen. This problem is not just about whether you have dollars in Naira or not, and turning your dollars into naira will not solve it, at least for the long term as I see this is some sort of endless cycle you folks operate down there. ![]()

kpakpandoN:The Last Teacher/Shepherd/prophet anointed by the God of Israel and sent to the people of Israel was Jesus Christ. He said this in His Gospel and this was over 1900 years ago. ![]() So when you people talk of anointings today, do you speak these things because you believe Jesus Christ to have been a liar and a fraud, and His Father— the God of Israel —, a fool? Or do you speak these words because you, like the Muslims, believe in some other deity even though you seem to hide your identity behind the many mentions of the name of Jesus Christ? Which? ![]() |
McLizbae:But why? What is the value of the property in question pegged on? The dollar or the Naira? Your example is saying that the property now costs way more than $1000 but for exactly what reason? The value of the dollar has not changed at all in all that time. The value of the Naira on the other hand has appreciated. So what is going on? One would expect a stronger Naira to mean lower prices, not the reverse at all. ![]() |
