Christianity EtcRe: Which Bible Verse Proves That The Spirit Is God Omniscient? by Kobojunkie: 4:12pm On Apr 17, 2024
AbuTwins:
Laying out the cards!
There are two Bible verses that proves the Holy Spirit is NOT Omniscient (i.e. does not know all things hence not God)!
From the above verses, we see that Jesus despite being 100% God + 100% man (as some Christians claim) is not Omniscient! We also see most importantly that ONLY the father knows all things. ONLY the father is omniscient!
■ So how is the Holy Spirit God?
■ Apostle Paul tried to correct the above after Jesus with:
"For who knows a person's thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God." 1 Corinthians 2:11 (NIV)
■ But this falls short as Jesus already made the claim that NO ONE KNOWS THE HOUR BUT THE FATHER! So Apostle Paul was wrong that the Spirit knows the thoughts of God and this is a contradiction to what Jesus said! So which Bible verse(s) proves without ambiguity that the Spirit is God Omniscient?
1. Those verses equally make clear that Jesus Christ is NOT the Father; Jesus Christ is NOT YHWH, God of Israel. Yes, Jesus Christ is born from some of the essence that is His Father, but He made it abundantly clear in His Gospel that He is not His Father, the God of Israel — YHWH. undecided

2. The Holy Spirit comes directly from God the Father - John 14 vs 15 - 26. God is True— Every Word of God is Truth—and His Spirit of Truth which is the Father is the one who is the Holy Spirit in the Kingdom of God. undecided

3. Interesting assertion there by Paul! undecided

4. I see what you are trying to do here, but I think you are very wrong. You are attempting to separate God's very own Spirit of Truth from the person of God. The problem with achieving such an idea is that you no longer have the same God. if God is separated from His Spirit of Truth that would mean there is no longer a Truth element to the person of God and He ceases to be the same God.

I think Paul is more right here in his assertion than you. Jesus Christ said NO ONE— implying no human or being apart from God, the Father — knows. The Spirit of Truth is part and parcel of who the Father is. (You remove Him from the Father and what you have is an image/idol of the Father, of lesser quality than the Almighty.) so cannot be considered in this case to be an entity detached or separate from the Father Him. In the very same way, even the Spirit of Eternal Life cannot be detached or separated from the person of the Father, the Spirit of Truth also cannot.

■ Your assumptions about me and bias against the institution of marriage is really working against you. Where did I even suggest that every marriage is the same for you to reply me with the above flippant talk? Is it that you have problem understanding what you read, or using that to escape answering directly to what you have no answer to? You're notorious for doing this on this board nearly every time, and this is not the first time with me.
■ And again where did I say or suggest every marriages out there is not valid . You really have a problem. Yes ,I know that I have been wasting my time talking to you because not only are you not married to discuss this (this not to mock you in anyway. I wish you to get married) , you're also a well known misogamist ,a marriage hater ,who's is deluded to believe that an imaginary God has placed a curse on all marriages and for that no one should venture into it. Is that not what you repeat like a bot all the time here? Yes.
■ Then please explain how an improvement on the process will make it attractive, beneficial and successful after, without the couples doing anything? You won't answer. I'm sure of that. Both the process and what it leads to complement each other ,but the goal or the end is the most important area to focus on. Where are your going with the marriage? If you don't know that, then you surely go nowhere. It's as simple as that.
■ And again where did I say or suggest every marriages out there is not valid based on the things I have said ? Please go get married first even if with a random stranger so you have some experience of your own and come back later to advise people from what you learnt. You have been overreaching yourself on a topic you should have kept quiet already and learn from others experienced in it. I will reply later to the link you replied me with concerning rising cases of divorce in Nigeria, and end the conversation immediately after that.
1. So, you do agree then that once that marriage license is issued or the ceremonials are taken care of, what one has is marriage — the product —regardless of what comes afterward? Case closed then! undecided

2. Oi Vey! One moment you pretend you respect the fact that all marriages are unique as they are and are valid even at that, the next moment you come up suggesting that it is all based on experience. what the heck is up with you? Make up your fking mind for Pete's sake! undecided

3. The subject of this conversation is the fact that more and more are opting out of the marriage agreement and choosing to remain single or cohabit instead. By improving benefits available to the married... reduced taxation for instance, housing vouchers for the married, child-tax credit for the marriage, equal division of marriage property in the case of divorce, alimony, and all of that good stuff, you go a long way to encourage individuals to consider marriage than the alternatives. This is already been used in other places and proven to be of value. undecided

4. Look, abandon this talk cause you seem to have an agenda I am altogether not the least bit interested in as it is clear you have a hard time staying on time and would rather ramble on about how trying marriage is the way to know marriage when even the 5-year-old here with basic social-emotional learning (SEL) experience has figured out these things.. undecided

■You should explain what it means as I only understand English!
New Living Translation
“Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. Matthew 5:17
Jesus Christ is an Israelite and all Israelites in the Land of Canaan at that time were required to do exactly that which He did, which accomplishes the Law of Moses. That is what He meant. He came bearing God's New Covenant and Law, the Davidic Covenant which God promised to the House of Israel alone. He had to give that Law to His people as it was their only path to redemption for their failure to meet the standard that is God's Old Law. But to do that, Jesus Christ had to fulfill the Law like every good Israelite in the land of Canaan at the time was required to by the God of Israel. undecided

Jesus Christ fulfilled the requirements of the Law as commanded by the God of Israel and was approved righteous by the God of Israel for doing so. However, because He was hung on the tree to die— also approved by the God of Israel—, He got on Himself the curse of God's Law which He took with Him to the grave. Jesus Christ was a righteous man cursed by the very same Law by which He was approved righteous. He then rose from the grave 3 days later— retaining His righteousness but beating the curse of the Old Law which was meant to destroy Him completely in the grave— causing Him to cease to exist in the grave. It is for this reason that Jesus Christ was raised as a beacon— like the bronze snake that was raised in the desert to all those condemned to die in the desert — to save the Lost sheep of Isreal, themselves cursed to die by the Old Law so that those of them who would accept Him would not perish but have eternal Life in addition to the New Covenant which Jesus Christ was given by His Hand to give only to them. undecided

Now to your question regarding the "Love law" that Jesus Christ fulfilled from the Old Law of Moses, that Law in Leviticus 19 vs 18 is the second greatest commandment of all of the almost 613 commandments and statutes that make up the Old Law of Moses. By fulfilling the Two greatest Laws of the Old Law of Moses, He was able to fulfill all of the other 611 commandments and statutes — receive credit for them all — of the same Law. undecided
18 Forget about the wrong things people do to you. Don’t try to get even. Love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord. - Leviticus 19 vs 18
As the law says, it means Jesus Christ went around loving His neighbors exactly as He loved His self. This, of course, after first making sure He loved the God of Israel with all His heart, mind, body, and Soul. And to love the God of Israel means to obey His every commandment and statute without exception. undecided

Hmmm Most of the funds was used to pay back the billions in forex backlog debts incurred more than 4 years ago.
You can support your national currency in the short run to ensure that others see that you have a skin in the game. That decision of paying back international airlines alone has led to drastic fall in airfares and increased confidence in the naira.
From the chart below, the dates when our reserve fell tally with the period we cleared this massive backlog from early March till when CBN announced it in late March which lagged into April. We are barely in mid April. May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
I don't believe that tale makes sense at all given that as of March 21st,2024, the news was that the CBN had settled all Forex backlog. So why the continuous fall in the reserves even after that time? The news had it that by March 21st,2024, the Government had completed payment on the final $1.5 Billion undecided
“If they say they have cleared the trapped funds, they should show us figures. They should tell us how much have been cleared. The last I checked, the status quo still remains the same,” Nwokoma said.
Hakama Sidi Ali, acting director of corporate communications at CBN, on Wednesday disclosed in a statement that the financial regulator recently concluded the payment of $1.5 billion to settle obligations to bank customers, effectively settling the residual balance of the FX backlog.
But Bankole Bernard, chairman of Airlines and Passengers’ Joint Committee (APJC) of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) told BusinessDay that CBN’s claim is true, adding that the airlines’ trapped funds have been cleared.
https://businessday.ng/news/article/foreign-airlines-dispute-cbns-claim-of-settled-fx-backlog/
So, why is the reserve still falling more than 3 weeks after? undecided

The chart below is from the CBN Government site today and does not corroborate any of what you claim. Rather it seems instead to line up with the Naira appreciation trend of the last, yes, 30 days. undecided

■ Bros I don't know why! But we all know that the reality is what I just explain up there. Dealers and realtors will never sell cheaper unless the property is to be sold in distress. Even business men and traders will never return the prices of goods unless the demand for the good drop drastically. So next time if your $1k exchange as high as the price of that property you are eyeing, quick change ur dollar and buy. Else you will regret it when dollar goes down. Remember we don't spend dollar in Nigeria, and the govt can call what ever value in exchange for dollar at anytime!
What you described there does not happen everywhere at all. I have lived in a different country for the past two decades, and the opposite of what you described is the case out here. The naira has been fluctuating against the dollar for a long time now; the Government has artificially caused it to go back down in the last 30 days straight, but where is the assurance it will not go back up again once the Government takes its hands off of it? Where is the guarantee that Naira will continue to appreciate or at least stabilize against the dollar at this point or some other down the road? Where is the increased investment in infrastructure, production, and industry? Nothing to be seen. This problem is not just about whether you have dollars in Naira or not, and turning your dollars into naira will not solve it, at least for the long term as I see this is some sort of endless cycle you folks operate down there. lipsrsealed

If "outside Nigeria" keep missing in this statement, then it remains a stupid statement. $1000 = 1.8m about a month ago Now it about 1.1m, the 1.8m property about a month ago is likely more than 1.8 now.
But why? What is the value of the property in question pegged on? The dollar or the Naira? Your example is saying that the property now costs way more than $1000 but for exactly what reason? The value of the dollar has not changed at all in all that time. The value of the Naira on the other hand has appreciated. So what is going on? One would expect a stronger Naira to mean lower prices, not the reverse at all. undecided
