Recall that in June 2024, the Debt Management Office said as of March 31, 2024, Nigeria’s domestic and external debts stood at N121.67tn ($91.46bn).
The domestic debt was put at N65.65tn ($46.29bn), while external debt stood at N56.02tn ($42.12bn).
Saturday PUNCH gathered that part of the foreign debt was the $4.95bn in loans obtained by the current administration in its first 12 months, just as the Central Bank of Nigeria said a total of $15.55bn had been spent on debt servicing between 2019 and 2024.
However, the WBG Finances, a digital platform, revealed that the Federal Government was still repaying at least 69 different loans secured between 2000 and 2014.

Just imagine the level of debt and if you look around all of Nigeria, you will find nearly no evidence of all that money. Why the people continue to look on is beyond me.

“There is no point for us to be wasting our time looking for where to verify the news. If the news was authentic, we could have gotten the message as a government straight from the federal government. No such thing happened,” he added.
The Bola Tinubu-led Nigerian government recently announced that it had distributed 20 trucks of rice to each state in the country in a bid to cushion the effects of food inflation and rising general inflation.
The development had earlier however stirred controversies with two states, Edo and Adamawa coming out to deny that they received such rice.

We are talking of the selling of a physical product with false labeling. So, yes, evidence of the claim made is necessary! And it is well withing the jurisdiction of the courts to obtain that evidence.

-Fufeyin puts up the soap for sale,

My opinion:
*Nafdac only certified the soap as ordinary soap not as miracle soap so Nafdac has nothing to answer
*Court can not convict Fufeyin as a Scammer. I have never seen any pastor jailed on account of failed religious belief or prophecy.
Also it will mean all these pastors who sell Olive Oil as Anointing Oil would have been convicted.
*VDM should be careful. He stands the risk of being convicted for Defamation, cyberbullying or some other criminal charges.

The reason you have never seen this is because of the broken legal system in Nigeria.
