U are skipping steps oga. Did the chances appear out the sky? Argentina had to create those chances and we are talking about tap ins in some instances. Those were goals u expect a credible player to score. A guy even had the Yakubu miss. Luck is a part of the game and we rode our luck a bunch of times yesterday.
Oga Basco,if am skipping the steps then you are running fast on the steps.

A credible player in U20 WC.Are you guys forgotten we are taking about under age tournament.

We got lucky a lot with our defending. The height of the Argentines gave us troubles and we were blessed with their poor finishing a couple of times.
Yes poor finishing in a game is part of what?our defending is part of what?THE GAME…who to blame for their poor finishing and who to praise for our defending?

My point is simple, better side won and imagine with two goals.

It is about the long run. Not one game. We can even win the tournament but if you look back, players they did better than in the tourney will excel.

At the end, football is more than one game and if you don't learn to be a good side, with time you get swept away.
Yes you are right long run but in age tournaments all we want are players for the future and with what we have seen so far we are getting there, playing negative football does not limit these players chances.

We have had four games so far with different approaches,so let’s continue enjoy the team till it last.

TheGoodJoe:

I did not say we did not win. I said we should not get carried away because the better side lost.

In the long run, history favors the side that plays better. You can beat a side in a game with negative tactics but you can not build a reputable side in a long run with it.

We can celebrate we won but we need to face reality that we were not electric.

We stayed camped and were dominated.

I know so much about tactics and I have watched these game for ages. We were outplayed. We can celebrate the win but it does not change reality.
Better side always winning with tactics.Football match is always about winning my man.Argentina had the possession and dominated but outcome proved that they are not better by losing two nil.

I don’t rate Bosso but benched Eletu should tell you he read Argentines very well.Amuneke I rated would have lost the match cuz he would be out there trying to dominate a team he cannot dominated.

Sir I love attractive football but a good coach would use any tactics to win.

Tell me how many top successful sides play with park bus/counter attack?
Oga you too dey deviate on issues and always trying to broaden simple football basics bringing theoretical analysis over tactical analysis……Nigeria defeated Argentina 2-0 in a WC match hosted by Argentina and you are asking me how many top successful sides play with park bus.

Oga thegoodjoe I respect you a lot, accepting facts doesn’t make one a loser, even great lawyers loses in courts and move on,not everything should be centered on long epistle just to prove what is glaring to laymen.

who’s age? If it’s Nnadi you are referring to he looks young and won’t be above 22-23 in real age

Also I doubt Eletu is up to 20

Other 2 that looks pretty young are Fredrick and Daga
Oga Charles,Eletu and Nandi are Nigeria born so you can’t prove it that Eletu is not up to 20 and Nnadi is above 20?

The KING IS COMING! GET READY! Ordinary Isak and Awoniyi are making fool out of those average EPL defenders. lol!
Oga Majori,Awoniyi is not ordinary, having Osimehn should not negate description of other performing Nigeria strikers..

I have said it here, what Osimehn does on the field is more than goal scoring and coming to EPL would be easy for him not cuz EPL defenders are average but cuz he has it all to excel anywhere based on his pedigree as a striker

Dennis is the more talented player but Awoniyis work ethic is better than his
This is why the coach relegated Dennis to the bench
Oga Yinkeys,am closer to Awo and Dennis and I want to tell you that Dennis is more talented than Awoniyi is debatable….having the flair on the ball doesn’t make one more talented.

The only problem Dennis is having is attitude and not today, right from KFA in Ilorin.Yes he is good but lack respect which Awoniyi is known for..

My senior brother took some academies boys to Italy last month but two players couldn’t make the trip due to indiscipline cuz the boys were picked based on academies coaches recommendations after thorough screening. The said players are good but do sneak out from hostel and have been caught twice, meaning they can japa in Italy.

Having successful football career is all about right attitude and Dennis should always thanks his agent for doing good job for him.

🤣🤣. You should have said all these last season when we challenged for every trophy in sight while scoring plenty of goals too.. This season, we have struggled, but scoring hasn't been a problem, with 100+ goals across all competitions already..
And Nunez isn't playing as a target man ..he has started many games as a left winger this season... Awoniyi switching position with his attacking partners during games is normal in most systems..it doesn't make him versatile enough to actually play a full game stretch in that role. That was my point..

Both Liverpool and Awoniyi benefited from the parting.. Liverpool earned a huge profit from his sale and Awo got to play in a team he is needed...... Its a win-win situation
What is Taiwo position against Chelsea in the first rounds.Did you know that Taiwo sometimes operates from the wings this season but as you said good that he picked Nottingham.

Versatility or not Taiwo is a thorough No 9,playing him in other positions not good for his game.

That Orban comment on Arsenal shows total immaturity.

Too young for such acerbic talk.
He just need to calm down.Arsenal is a team that has produced great player that Orban will never attained their status in football history e.g his country man King Kanu Nwankwo.

Good to have traditional No 9 in Victor Osimehn and Taiwo Awoniyi.Nigeria had it last with Rashidi Yekini after Thompson Usiyen but do we have coach to help super eagles with other CFs like Moffi,Sadiq,it would be saddening if NFF failed this generation by employing mediocre as coach.

Everton will likely not escape relegation this time.

What is the difference between Iwobi and Nwakali in terms of influence in club THIS season?.
The different Iwobi 2 goals and 7 assists in top league EPL and Nwakili 1 goal and two assists in very lowly rated league SEGUNDA.The two are wide apart comparing the leagues.Yes nothing to talk on their influence cuz both failed to save their clubs from relegation.

Well done Taiwo Awoniyi for proving doubting Thomas wrong.

Yes not that rated by some but some of us who know you from roots never for once doubted your ability to rise to the occasion.

I remembered your word to me in UAE during U17 WC you said uncle I made this team through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and a starter due to injury of reliable Isaac Success but I will not let Nigeria down.

I hope Nottingham Forest survive the relegation and congratulations to Man city.

You should have asked yourself if pep will be able to coach Roma where many top teams will do anything to have him ?

Mourinho is coaching at as Roma because no big team want him ,it’s simple ,if he sees a bigger team today he will leave Roma asap

Pls I need sincere answer, can Josep Guardiola win seria A with the same Roma team.

Mind you I respect Pep and love his tactics than Mourinho but do we need to turn football to court for easy discourse.

Tactically Pep is the best but Mourinho is a real fighter when it comes to the game.

I read a article on Pep and Mourinho and what you guys were saying not different from what Pulse sports said about the duo.
