How good is Shawn Adewoye as a centre back?
We need Felix Udokhai iand Tosin Adarabioyo if they are ready but Shawn Adewoye really showed interest in playing for Nigeria go by his statements.Big question is he good enough for super eagles cuz time to inject young CBs into eagles.

Tokunbo Ajai died suddenly while she was still young on the screen around year 2000. I guess she was unmarried yet. Her death was a shock to many but some rumour later emerged about how she probably died after a hard-to-take humiliating experience. Some say she was raped by armed robber. That conflict with what I heard earlier though. Rumour had it that she was on a date with the billionaire Igbinedon, popularly called Okada and father of then Edo state governor. The man who was said to derive pleasure in humiliating women for reason best known to him asked Tokunbo Ajai to come out of the room naked. Unbeknownst to the lady, Chief Igbinedon already had his prominent associate seated outside, or probably in the living room. The lady took it for a fun and appeared before a large gathering unclad. Being a well known person too, that was too difficult for her to take and she committed suicide
It was Sienne Alwell Brown that was rumored to have dated Chief Igbinedon not Tokunbo Ajai.

Players and valuation these are chalk and cheese. We've seen players valued at 100M not worth anyway near it.
I guarantee you, Brighton are looking at Bassey's profile and not performance. This was the exact Reson MJ wasn't a first draft NBA pick. You claim to be a scout so you should understand what I'm saying.

Awaziem and Omeruo aren't in this discussion. They have their career trajectory and as native Africans, they have done relatively well for themselves. They have both been in the books of Porto and Chelsea. Played at the highest level in Spain and France. I don't really know what you have against them.
Barry I got your views on Bassey and I shared similar views.

In eagles I will pick Segunda Omeruo and Croatia Awaziem over Calvin Bassey.

Quite exciting
Change Nigeria football?the issue with Nigeria football are many and hope the system will not consumes the club.

The system is damn too corrupted that people with good intentions always find it difficult to cope.I saw people celebrating Kanu appointment as Enyimba chairman but can Kanu played the politics of Emeka Anyasi

Bro go and watch dis interview with okocha..okocha himself confessed that Nigerian players reduce deir ages (forward to 12minutes)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGtQ9H0GVuk
If CLEVERLEY is a Nigerian what would you say regarding his age but to some any Nigeria players that retired early must be due to age

My question do we say CLEVERLEY retired due to age or what…..yes Okocha talked about age cheat and the same Okocha is in his mid 50 but claiming 1973.I watched Kanu in 1991 in Ilorin against Ranchers Bees playing for Iwuatanwu Nationals in FA cup but the same Kanu made Japan 93,so I know much about this age wahala but sometimes we need to look deep why some of our players don’t last long in football.

If you don’t know Felix Owolabi played through 70s to 90s and he is a Nigerian. We cannot just be picking holes in our players age to rubbish them.It was here someone said Moses Simon has reached his peak due to age cheat but the same Simon is being courted by Nice.

He was and is made in Edo.

That's where his lineage is from. His lineage is what makes him.

You tell people where to spend their money when they're not doing anything in the place where their lineage is from and when they date or impregnate women outside where they are from and outside their ethnicities.

Those are red flags..

England did not build primary schools, secondary schools, universities, health centers, hospitals, stadiums, technical institutes, vocation centers, maternity hospitals, pediatric hospitals, sports centers, housing estates, roads e.t.c. all over Nigeria between 1914 and 1960 and after..

they took the billions they made from Nigeria and other places they colonized and used it to build England they did not use it to build Nigeria and the other places they colonized.

You build your origins when you have money.. it is the intelligent thing to do when you have money infact it is what you do when you have money..
How I wish everyone can claim state of origin where he/she was born and vie for any position politically in that state but in our society it is NO cuz tribalism will comes in.

Victor Osimehn is more of Lagos than Edo and nothing stop him from doing more for his Edo lineage but we cannot tell the young man what to do with his wealth.

I remember Chief Adolphus Okafor from Anambra State was more of Kwara man and Kwarans believed so much in him that he controlled Kwara football administration for many years through votings.Nobody care where he came from.

In sports, many of our sport men do much to state where they were born and raised,so do not be surprised seeing Osimehn doing much for Lagos State.

I don’t think Osimehn would go out of his way and do more to any country than Nigeria.

Just read the article, pls are you really close to the player,if you are just tell him to continue working harder cuz no hidden place for talented player to be discovered. But you are like saying Osun state didn’t appreciate him, based on what?the guy is 20 years of age meaning he should be up there in NPFL or Europe cuz players like Victor Osimehn,Taiwo Awoniyi,Iheanacho and Chuckwueze left Nigeria as teenagers. The guy is already doing it late so he need good agent to do the needful for him or else he wasted here.

You said Peter Obi worked for Abacha.

That goes down as Broadway ridiculous.

Peter Obi was one of the largest exporters from Europe and there was a port problem that was affecting his business and other importers.

So they had a meeting with Abacha, that is the importers and the Federal Government.

Peter Obi gave a smart suggestion that would help come to a win-win resolution for both parties.

Because of that, Abacha put him in charge of operations at the port to prevent such occurrence repeating.

How you guys spinned it to Peter Obi worked for Abacha should go down as a twist of facts. So you are saying he should have let his multi-million pounds business crash because a dictator was running the country.

About time a Nigerian wins the UCL
Last player we had that won it all was Kanu
undecided Mikel too
Mikel was even massive in UCL final than Kanu who always on the bench for Ajax with limited minutes in the final and you failed to mention Finidi George who was super regular with Ajax 1995 UCL winner….Nigerians with real impact in UCL finals are Mikel Obi and Finidi George.

Yeah I saw him shouting AWO and a minute Iheanacho scored. The message was like AWO pls move the defenders out but am still waiting for a player to beat Oliseh passion against Senegal, sick and forced himself in and changed the game.I also remember Stephen Keshi equalizing goal against Angola in Luanda after two goals down Keshi was all over the field acting like a coach.

God bless osimhen ,I love his humility

Him and ighalo are the most humbled naija players
Sir,it depends on how closer you are to these players to really know how humbled they are.I don’t think they are the most humbled super eagles players when we talk about relating to old friends.

Guys living in Kano and Kwara will disagree with you cuz of Ahmed Musa and Taiwo Awoniyi even Kaduna boys will not agree based on how Simon Moses relate with them. The area boys of Iwobi and Aina will tell you how humble they are

One can only talk about these players humility if one is closer or living in environment they grew up.

Yes I admired Osimehn down to earth attitude especially giving back to his primary school in Olosunsun, not really easy for someone without parents.

nice, most Nigerians posses a birth certificate but more than 50% of Nigerians with the birth certificate lie about their age in that same certificate. Point is anyone can get a birth certificate provided he pays the right amount
I can tell you that children born from 1960 till date’s have their hospital birth certificates but due to corruption most went to court for affidavits to lie about their ages.

I was born in Kaduna in the 70s with hospital medical certificate and till date is one of the documents I cherish so much.It was during NYSC i discovered about age falsifications and during my civil service career.

I was retained by one of Federal government parastatals after my NYSC but to my surprised with my real age am older than those who are older than me cuz they lied with court affidavits.

One thing I noticed about age falsification in civil service, those with court affidavits always finding it difficult to cope after 15 years in service.I left the parastatals before I clocked 40 years of age and am happy for it cuz I already had over 15 years experienced.I was able to do this cuz I got the job in my early 20s.

The same scenario is happening to our football players born in Nigeria and only way out is to ask for primary school certificates but can we do that when most in the authorities don’t even have primary school certificates and lied about their ages.

I think with MRI we are able to get some real young lads like Victor Osimehn,Chuckwueze,Taiwo Awoniyi ,Kelechi Iheanacho.
