Why are their hands tied? Because of their dependency on the government for funding?
Sir government is not funding NFF,reasons why they know their limits cuz of FIFA ban....A fully funded NFF by government will not find it difficult paying coaches

Influencial people in government are making decisions for NFF. They are godfather's to Isah Ladan Bosso,Salisu Yusuf,Shehu Abdulahi,Ahmed Musa,Makajuola Success and more. This information is from a reliable source. NFF are not daft to keep on hiring a serial failure like Salisu. There hands are tied.
Sir,I don’t want us to go this way cuz some will not see reason in our discourse and better not to turn this thread to political sections where everything goes...now we have NFF president from the north but our brother from South Amaju Pinnick made these appointments....as I said the issue with Nigeria football is beyond ethnicity and religion. It is all about corruption.

This is what happens when national team call up is for the highest bidder.

Imagine calling up players from the English 9th division, a player from Azerbaijan 2nd Division just signed a few weeks ago. Players with no clubs.

Wouldn't be surprised if Salisu gets rewarded with another national team job.

Bunch of mediocres
Yes when we all believed that nothing good can come out of NPFL then 9th division player from Europe will get invitation....it all started with Rohr inviting a division four player to eagles camp....see we never see anything..Imagine Salisu and Bosso still coaching national teams when we have Finidi George and Emma Amuneke

Man was so calm, coordinated and serious-minded...🚶🏿‍♂️

The towering defender dealt with and pocketed Mama Samba Balde today at the Estadio 24 de Setembro 🏟️

I see him more of Keshi than Yobo.

These were the conversation that ensued between me and BannedLarge, where i told him the best CB's we have now.

I don't come about these conclusions out of nowhere.
Oga from my experience on eagles I would never rated Bassey,Akpogunma,Ekong over Balogun,Omeruo,Semi Ajayi and Awaziem but guess what these guys are not doing it in division one but Koko be say they are better....Even I would rather have Aina as LB than Bassey and Sanusi.....The major issue now is Balogun and Omeruo are getting old and we need real guys to do it.If Adarabioyo can say yes with Awaziem coming back to main Europe and Semi then we build from there but with Akpoguma,Bassey and Ekong as CB I fear o.

As for Kenneth Omeruo. Hate him or love him but he remains one of our reliables in major tournament games and when called upon in official games. Very calm in his plays and rugged in his defending.
Reason why I always rating Omeruo and Balogun when it comes to eagles....It’s a pity we did not see much of Omeruo and Balogun partnership cuz Rohr believed so much in Ekong.

As much as Pesieros record looks poor, but to be fair, he wasn't the reason we lost yesterday. If Chukwueze, Osimhen, Simon and Lookman composed themselves better, we would have scored 3 goals between them.

Tactically, Pesiero withdrew Iwobi and made him the ball progressor in CM next to Ndidi whose limitation is well known. Most of the build-up play went through Iwobi as a result and it was OK and we dominated as expected against a lesser opposition.

The fault line for me was the attackers who looked to make hasty decisions when they were close to goal. There was simply no calmness or clarity in thought when we got close to their goal which is sad. Crosses were over hit, final passes were misplaced and shots were poor.

Uzoho for me, had one job. He had to be quicker off his line, since the team was pressing high up the pitch. A keeper like Ederson would swept the ball away before the Guinean made contact with the ball.
Lessons
Barry man,I thought it was Nigeria vs Guinea Bissau not Nigeria vs Morocco...I hate stats or theoretical analysis when a team lost to very low team, truly it happens in football but this team needs better coaching and Peseiro is failing in this regard.

Ola Aina will walks straight into this eagles starting eleven....my takes give me Aina as LB and Ebuehi or Osayi as RB...I don’t fancy Sanusi and Bassey as LB

Forget the results for a moment and look at the actual plays
We created almost 15 clear cut chances in this game
When last did we have that?
I think he should be given more time
I like what he's doing with the team
We're playing better now
The results will come
Eagles is playing better now?well I be old cargo o when it comes to Super eagles so what you see I might not see it but based on my experience since 1980,Peseiro is not the answer.

I didn't get to watch the whole game live but after watching the highlights, this is my take.

Peseiro is NOT entirely to blame. I judge a coach's tactical prowess based on the number and quality of goalscoring chances his team produces. Scorelines alone can be misleading. We were VERY unlucky not to score several times.

The fact is that we produced several good chances and knocked the ball around pretty good (Rohr's SE couldn't make three midfield passes without losing the ball).

Peseiro has a clear philosophy of low-passing possession-based football. This is what we yearned for under Rohr. Sadly, such football needs two things that we don't have; a good, smooth pitch, and a cerebral midfield.

Tactically, I give Peseiro a pass mark. Player selection is his only issue for me. And I blame that on the greedy NFF that wants to sell Yummy players at all cost, not the coach.

Fellow Nigerians, abeg make we get small patience with Peseiro. The man is cooking something delicious. Watch how we will trounce GNB on Monday.
Oga who set up a team between coach and players cuz you are not blaming Peseiro but blaming who?.....one thing am very sure Peseiro is not taking eagles to anywhere

You just confirmed my take..
On a better pitch, we would beat these GB guys silly, even with these same set of players
The pitch really affected our plays
I really hope GB has a better pitch at least, or SE can switch to long ball strategy if the pitch isn't smooth for short crisp passes..

Finally they should learn to take more shots
Chuks started doing so late in the game
I wish they took more shots, we would have won by atleast 3

Overall, I give JP and the players a pass mark
I saw his input
Our passes were better and we actually created chances which was difficult under Rohr

In the second half, I liked our intensity

While we work on our midfield, I believe we can still achieve a lot with these current crop of players

Victor was frustrated I understand, but he should calm down or he would get unnecessary cards

Good football overall..
On another day, all those chances we missed would have gone in

I think the coach did his job
I give him a 6
I blame the pitch more than JP and the players
Better pitch again?Peseiro lost four straight games for God sake.JP scorecard is the worst in eagles history and really surprised we are still rating JP.....What I hate most is bringing theoretical analysis in evaluating a very poor team with terrible coaching abilities that a blind man can see...my man I disagree with your view on Peseiro.

Osimhen needs to boycott the S.E if they keep inviting players like moses simon, onuachu, chukwueze, osayi Samuel, ihenacho to the team.

That's like inviting 5 Insignes to the team, players who want to be the one to score the goals.

Osimhen can only thrive with players making him the focal point of attack, the person to pass to or cross to or play corners to..
Oga code, pls stop disrespecting other players just cuz of Victor Osimehn. Are you saying,Kelechi Iheanacho,Simon Moses and Paul Onuachu are mediocre and Osimehn should boycott eagles seeing their names on the list....I watched the match through the link provided here and I want to say Osimehn was poor yesterday just like other players....Time to stop exonerating Osimehn if eagles played poorly.

Just like I predicted Arsenal to win the league at the start of this season! Oshimen is the top scorer in Italy and AFCONQs. Also, the second highest in the world! Who will ignore that! Morocco will deservedly win the team of the year and coach of the year!
