Super Eagles List: Latest Update... Ozornwafor called up

Ladies and Gentlemen, A lad who is currently chopping bench in French Ligue 2, Valentine Ozornwafor has been called up to replace Leon Balogun.

His club is currently in action and he is warming that bench comfortably.

Who is selecting these players? Well, that's the latest.
My major question, why is it difficult to just give NPFL best CB a chance to learn from big boys in a situation like this, just mere friendly match.

And unfortunately for most in here, I am one of the few with authoritative opinions on Nwakali bcoz I see all his games just like I see the games of every other Super Eagles player and prospects.

I just try to make out Time. Sleep is overrated. grin

And you must not be a fan to watch the lad. If you truly must hold a strong opinion on the lad, then it would be better if you take out time to watch him in a few games. No one says you must watch every game. That's impossible. But 1 or 2 full games at least. Highest 3.

Watching a lad makes it easier to rate the lad without sentiments because eye test don't lie.
I will like to see Nwakili up there in elite league where I would have more opportunities watching him week in week out just like the way I watched all Sadiq matches this season, not like very few I watched last season unintentionally.

I remember saying Nwakili deserved better platform but to some am ridiculing him saying it doesn't matter but fact remains that it matter.Kelechi in EPL or La Liga, all these back and front comments from us here on him would never have arise.

During afcon I preferred Aribo but after Ghana match I said if Nwakili can shake things up better for me to have Nwakili instead of Aribo, this was even the period Nwakili was finding it difficult,i said this cos i rate him.As you know Taiwo is mine but truth be told as it stand I will pick Osimehn,Sadiq and Moffi over him, that's me for you.

A rejuvenated Nwakili no doubt is a plus for eagles cos what I saw in him in U17 days wasn't a fluke, just that things didn't worked out as planned.

No matter the stats Kelechi Nwakili pull in Segunda,Iwobi or Aribo performance will still be koko cos they are doing it in elite league but possibly,Peseiro might like that special skill set who knows, then eagles calling for Nwakili.

The person you reply to haven't even sat down to watch a single 45mins of Kelechi Nwakali this season.

So I am afraid, Uncle Kog45 CANNOT give a true analysis of Kelechi Nwakali in the HERE and NOW. He should go watch him first before thinking he can have an authoritative opinion about him.

I mean, why give an opinion on a player you haven't even watched?? It just doesn't make sense.
Oh yes Doctor you nearly got it.It will take a fan to watch a player playing in second division and I think only few we have authoritative opinions on Nwakili at the moment and mind you have watched his clips twice this season due to your report on him.

Let us not sugarcoat things and pander to soppy sentimentalism. Reality is uncompromising in its assessment. You say highly talented. What is a highly talented player still doing in the lower rungs of Spanish football for four seasons? Not one or two seasons ooo.

When people say he has a special skill set, I scratch my head. They do not realize that it is in the nature of anything special to be recognized and elevated especially in the sports industry. What special skill set does he have that scouts all over Europe have not been able to spot to get him out of second division football?
Yes highly talented from U17 and I still see him as one though things did not worked for him as expected.I have seen highly talented players that didn't make it as footballers but I still refer to them as highly talented ones, for instance Tarila Okoronwata.

Well said,Nwakili still in division two and on his special skill set,it was here am hearing special skill set.All players have special attributes,so Nwakili special skill set was just one of those hypes words.

the weakest link in the team now is goalkeeping position

Aside that from defense to striking positions we are well covered

Also we still need quality back up for the cb positions. Ekong isn’t good enough, balogun is aging so another quality centre back with omeruo as cover for ajayi and bassey will be nice

I suggest since we don’t have quality goalkeepers in main stream european leagues the coaching crew should scout for one in the local league
Oh Charles, honest opinion from you on goalkeeping and from someone who rate Okoye, real football analyst.Respect bro.

Yes, they’re basic players but a division 2 player isn’t better than them
Hmm Iwobi 189 EPL appearances for Arsenal and Everton. He broke into Arsenal team from academy and Nwakili failed to do so...Aribo had it so good in Scottish league, yes to some that league is moi moi but forgetting that Calvin Bassey hit it straight from the same league now with Ajax...Aribo already had six appearances in EPL with a goal.

Kelechi Nwakili is good and highly talented player and one of those we thought were the futures but yet to make it as we expected,it happens in football but good for him that he is trying to make it out.

This season so far am seeing him moving up irrespective of his club position in the league.By then we can compare him with Iwobi and Aribo but if Peseiro do Eguavoen stuff again, why not he can pull the strings.

As far as I'm concerned, we don't have a goalkeeper.... If Peseiro is serious,he should throw that position open... The upcoming friendlies provide the perfect opportunity for that...
The centre defence also need changing.. Ekong has become a bench warmer too... Akpogunma should be recalled...
Yes you are right on centre back but Calvin Bassey is up there now and watching Semi Ajayi so far,i would pick him over Akpogunma though Akpogunma deserved a call up,Zaidu to the left and Aina right side, have not heard much about Ebuehi this season.

On goalkeeper, damn glaring we are having issue and Alloy Agu contributed to this, imagine six good years as goalkeeper trainer,we can't have good keeper, national team was turned to a place to promote a keeper from regional league and it worked well for Okoye but it was obvious he is not talented.Uzoho too from division three though had two la Liga matches but it was damn obvious he is average,a world cup keeper at 21 now in Cyprus league as bench warmer and some believed they are still the best.

Will Bankole be a starter in both Uzoho and Okoye's club? If Okoye or Uzoho comes to Remo today, both will start ahead of him. A keeper that was making school boy errors in a CAFcl should be invited ahead of Uzoho and OKOYE? Seriously?
The fact remains that Okoye and Uzoho are not starter in their clubs.Pls is there any school boy errors than Okoye vs Tunisia and Uzoho vs Ghana.

We just need to throw open our goalkeeping Dept for best guy to come in.My man nothing special about Okoye and Uzoho and time for us to get good goalkeeper, enough of patching.

The two cost us afcon and WC qualification with their performances.

Oga Fab,would you have say this when Enyeama came in as rookie with no international experience even as home based player in Africa soil and did well against England in 2002 WC.

Peseiro should search for good keeper and if he believes it's Okoye and Uzoho,no issue but one thing is sure they are very average and not good enough for eagles.
