All these age talk don tire me.

You guys can believe whatever you want. But stop coming online to exaggerate things.

How can the same people who believe that Harry Kane is 24,Lukaku is 24 despite their physical development/appearance come online and dispute the validity of the ages of players like Uzoho, Etebo, Musa, Nacho, Ndidi etc simply because they are Nigerians.

Enough of all these age cheat talk. It's becoming stale. Let the players face the consequences of their choices. If they cheat, it will catch up with them in the near future and they will have no place to hide-it's their palava and not yours. What should concern us is their performance and not age. If you are 40 and still performing, churning out decent stats week in week out, nothing do you. You should be considered.

Note: I'm in no way encouraging the act. But detest all these unsubstantiated claims that all Nigeria players are age cheat because of their physical appearance. You guys kuku no de there when they were born. So leave them all alone and stop generalizing things.
Yes nobody will doubt Kane and Lukaku ages cos they came from well structured society where it's not possible to tamper with age.

In Nigeria our system is so porous that it allowed someone to dump his hospital birth certificate for court affidavit back up age claim or go to National Population Commission and get original birth certificate with falsified age and official attestation from MOFA.

I hate discussing age cheats when it involved our players cos most Nigerians falsified their ages especially the civil servants so why blaming the players.

Franco-German yusuf...got me laughing hard.

rohr had the opportunity to make name for himself...
but messed it up.
but we just have to keep up with him..because he will help us unearth some of the foreign born indigenous coaches can't reach.....how I wish a brillant coach like yusuf was...he would have been helpful

indigenous coaches like siasia and amuneke will still messed it up with their biased selection.....so better we stick to rohr...he is the foreign coach we can afford at the moment...
Sir are you still on unearthing FB players.

Pls forget that,Rohr should just update himself technically or get a solid assistant cos at WC he was naive and always lost when it matter most.

On indigenous coaches being biased?well you are right but is Rohr not biased taking players to WC on loyalties.

Honestly not really convinced with Rohr cos what eagles need now is tactical coach not just unearth FB for us cos i remember Stephen Keshi brought in Leon Balogun,Ekong Troost,Ameobi,Hope Akpan. Also Siasia made it possible for Iwobi,Anichebe and Aluko and Oliseh gave us Carl Ikeme.

I want Rohr to continue based on build up but he need a very solid tactical assistants just like Westerhoff/Bonfrere, Keshi/Sylvanus Okpala and Siasia/Kalika.

No sir, we insist on ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE or nothing more
My man have you asked yourself why people always present court affidavits instead of their original birth certificates.

A lot dumped their birth certificates and used court affidavits to beat down their age.

And funny enough NPC issue birth certificate without even asked for any documents.

Truly original birth certificate should be the answer but not in Nigeria.

Oh you have not seen a scenario where you are the youngest and also the oldest cos you have original birth certificate but others have court affidavits to back things up.

It happened to me before in my working place. In our set those with original birth certificates are the oldest cos others tendered court affidavits to support their new age.

The bubble burst when my company HR requested for primary school certificate. Some said they don't have it but my HR said just bring any primary school term result.

At the end the HR was summoned to Abuja and that was the end.

Imagine a graduate of 6 years ago playing for U 21 with birth certificate from NPC which foreign countries recognize as real birth certificate with just attestation from MOFA

Primary school leaving cert can also be forged

D best is to ask for WAEC certificate, dt certificates indicates ur date of birth, even NECO doesn't indicate, dts y u c job seekers who want to falsify deir date of birth only tenders NECO CERT,not WAEC CERTIFICATE cool
Yea you are right on forgery but very difficult to forge especially primary school terms results.

Did you know that there is nothing like forgery in primary school cert and that's why government agencies don't ask for it.

Honestly ordinary primary school term results will curb age cheats.

It is not just by numerical strength. After all, South America and Africa produced the same number of countries while 4 of the 5 South American teams made it to the second round no African team made it Even Peru that crashed out still won a game. The bitter truth is Africa is still lagging behind other continents.
Yes chief we will continue to lag behind in Africa especially Nigeria cos of age factor.A graduate of 5 years ago playing for U 20 says a lot.

It's high time we correct the abnormality by just requesting for primary school cert or ordinary primary school terms results with this age falsification will come to an end.

The younger the better to learn new tactics of the game, just check out new Waec results,14-15 years pupils have the best results.

The only way out is having right age for our underaged teams and not getting players who are above with 5 years of stipulated age for our teams.

MRI is not the solution cos just too glaring we are not getting it right save for our WC qualification,Nigeria football has been in static mode since 2014.

Did u also know that Ousmane Dembele's father is Nigerian/Malien?

Do ur findings guys, this is becoming more and more interesting after the news of Mbappe.
Chris baba God bless you.

We had this discourse on Mbappe here some pages back and cos of it i asked a childhood friend who based in Paris with his family on Mbappe and his Nigerian name ADESANMI.

He narrated his own migration to France that he came to France with Cameroonian passport and married a Tunisia lady with two kids and said possibly his kids can represent France,Cameroon and Tunisia in the future but to represent Nigeria would be difficult he came to France with Cameroonian passport.

He said for Mbappe to be named ADESANMI and his brother ADEYEMI then something is amiss and likely Mbappe's Father migration story must be similar to his own.

No doubt about that but he is definitely not exceptional for his age unlike a guy like Presnel Kimpembe. Akanji is just another average young center back, hence I say he was overrated here. That said, I hope he comes good in the future.

and how does that make him a bad player? I can't remember Jesus scoring screamers all his Man city goals are tapin. so I don't understand Nacho score tapin abi he no score tapin
The big question has Iheanacho really developed as player we all projected to be in no distant future.

Whether he is a tap in machine or not is not the issue cos Van Nisteroy was a tap in merchant with a class.Gabriel Jesus is a box striker with good ball movement

Truth must be told,Iheanacho needs to rediscover himself cos his performance at WC wasn't good enough especially against Argentina, very abysmal.

Eagles is evolving and in next few months am seeing young players coming in with great prospect and if Iheanacho didn't raise up his game am seeing his relevancy and the tag of golden boy of Nigeria football disappearing.

I'm very glad hearing about possible reunification with his former boss cos he did well under him at man city but need to prove himself under any coach.

Hope to see better Iheanacho next season.
