Saw highlights of Hull vs Bristol City..

I was very disappointed with Ola Aina's defensive awareness... No surprise, he was subbed at half-time..

He has had some good games this season so maybe he just had an off day..
...may be he is not good enough?but he made team of the week number of time this season even MOTM(s)

I remember watching Idowu against Rostov and not impressed even Ebuehi,so sometimes watching these guys week in week out could be damn funny

Sir any updates on Echiejile at cercle brugge.

Modified... Just checked whoscored.

Echiejile Elderson situation is worrisome, two games since January, had his last game against westerloo three weeks back and sometimes not even in match day squad, not too good especially in Belgium division two.

Many of our top quality players in Europe did not come from the league.. They were directly picked from academies across Nigeria.

For instance, It took Awaziem less than a year of leaving Nigeria to make Porto's first team. It shows that the talent is in Nigeria but our NPFL clubs are not doing proper scouting... We do a lot of recycling players.

I look at most of the Nigerian stars coming up, very few played in the NPFL.
Well you are right but did you know that Awaziem spent good four years with El kanemi of Maiduguri team B and A before joined Porto in 2014.

And took him two years to break into Porto team A in 2016 due to injury to one of the defender and later moved back to team B before getting a good loan to Nantes.

4 goals scored in Chinese league can't be compared to same feet...in Spain or England...
you all acting as if it is something spectacular....
Sir it's spectacular when a player scored four goals in a match even in street football.

I remember how we celebrate Iheanacho brace against Fleetwood cos no matter the opposition such performance is a morale booster.

Mind you this is not the first time is scoring four goals in a match cos he did it in English league against Blackpool.

Sir his performance yesterday was a great morale booster for Eagles and Rohr as a coach w be extremely happy for such feat.

Do you think it is easy for him to be earning £200k in a week cos you seem to forget that the same player had played in EPL and LA liga.

Can they take the place of Simon or Musa if given a chance to compete? I believe they can certainly compete.

Was it not a young boy that chased Musa out of Leicester?
I'm coy on this coz of Rohr's approach in integrating players look at Oyekwuru but given Kalu and Olayinka chance,Musa and Simeon w just need to up their game.

Even with Onyekuru and his brilliant club performances last season, who has he benched in the SE? Maybe Isaac Success who was even never really considered as a serious candidate.

Onyekuru's chance of making the final 23 is even slim. So why would Rohr invite Kalu and Olayinka?

The thing is we don't need those players for now. If they were CFs now I would say they have a chance.

Let them keep playing and let's see if they can raise their club performances next season. The future is there's if they continue doing good.
Am not canvassing for their invitation cos i stated it that after WC even Oyekwuru,Kayode, were not given enough chance to impress or what of Agbo,so post WC gonna sweet for Nigeria football cos we have them in abundance.

Make we manage am. CYRIL DESSERS!!!
Sir time is not too short cos Enyeama made 2002 WC a month or less to WC.Joel Obi came into the team just of recent and made the team.

As you said Rohr is very conservative in his approach but if he want better performance at WC need to give Dele and Ejide a chance cos our friendlies showed that Uzoho is not ready for WC.

Egbon, don't be carried away by those 2-3 mins YouTube videos

Compare what you saw of Kalu and Olayinka with what Musa is doing at CSKA. Them no come near.
We know that club performance can be flattering. When they come to the national team you begin to wonder if they are same players you watched on YouTube.

For now I totally disagree that Kalu and Olayinka are better than Simon and Musa.
Sir not YouTube, given those guys chance in eagles, some guys will lose their shirts but Rohr will never gamble but after WC you w agreed with me that they are better though my opinion.

Do you argue for the sake of argument, I have repeated it over and over that what am clamouring for is both keeper to be given a chance.

i took time out to watch both of them on YouTube and I can tell you both still got it, Dele ain't so good with crosses but his reflex is wonderful, Ejide is physically imposing but seem to have drop some speed.

Ejide playing in second tier Isreal league means nothing, you fail to point out that him and his club are doing well in the league and are likely to be promoted because they are second in the table while Dele team is on the verge of relegation.

Obviously you have a preference which is cool but you are been biased with your analysis, Ejide have European Experience, he played for hapoel beer Sheva Europa league play off in 2014/2015 season.

when you were calculating there club caps you fail to mention Ejide performance in Etoile, please we all need to be objective with our arguments sometimes
My man i don't argue but talk football and learn from it.

Oh biased,i don't think so,try and read my post very well cos my comment was based on fact.

Yes you are right on Ejide Europa cup experience but couldn't recollect,am sorry.

Yes i did not include Etoile and Enyimba cos Enyimba was even better in the 2000s

Sir my point is simple don't used Ejide was better than Dele in mid 2000s to rate him now cos for the past four season now Dele is better based on their club performance.

If not for our goalkeeping issue i will never clamour for Ejide or Dele.

Obi Out Of Torino Clash Vs Atalanta Over Injury
April 21, 2018 9:13 am

Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi has been ruled out of Torino’s Serie A away clash against Atalanta on Sunday due to injury, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Obi who recently returned to the Super Eagles squad after four years will miss Torino’s clash with Atalanta on Sunday due to an Iliopsoas (anterior hip muscle) injury, according to a report on toro.it.

The Nigeria international is expected to undergo some tests within the next 10 days to ascertain the severity of his injury.
The 26 year old came on as a 57th minute for Tomas Rincon in Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with AC Milan, but went off injured 22 minutes later. He was replaced by Afriyie Acquah.

Stop this unnecessary hype, Cassilas is 6ft 1 and for bathez we saw how calamitous he was at his later stage in his career, dele is not even up to 6ft.

Ejide was always ahead of him through out their career in the GWG, at some some point Ejide was the number 1 and let me remind you, penalty is a lottery, I have seen Enyeama save up to 3 out 5 penalty and when they started they said he was poor in that area.

To be fair Rohr need to invite them both and see them first hand and see if they still have it in them
Sir if we want to base it on height then better to take Uzoho,Alampasu and Akpeyi to WC cos they are above six ft.

Pls have you asked yourself why 5ft 11 Enyeama was always picked ahead of Ejide.Truly Ejide was ahead of Dele in the eagles even in 2008 ahead of Enyeama.

Sir seen Ejide physically not even in goalposts showed a good keeper cos his height is intimidating and this gave him an edge over Enyeama in 2008 cos Vogts believe in his height but when we talk of rudiments of goalkeeping forget it Enyeama is a top notch and Dele is even better than Ejide.

I think Ejide and Dele stats are their for us to see since they left Africa shore for professional career in Europe and mind you tbaba1234 was even saying Ejide has been stagnant since 2014 and Dele keep on maintaining his form, hope you know that the same Ejide was clubless for almost two season.

Check it out, their Europe professional career, Ejide had 220 caps(2006-2018)still counting with Bastia,Hapoel takia, sherva and Hadera with no European cup experience while Dele Aiyenugba had 372 caps(2007-2018)still counting with Yehuda Bnei and Hapoel Ashkelon with Europa cup playoffs experience.

Presently Ejide play in Isreali second tier while Dele is in Isreali premier league.

Pls with this whom w you picked as likely solution to our goalkeeping problem though i want to see the two in camp to slug it out with other keepers
