It is not all you call it. How is it jealousy? Or even backbiting? How is it even hatred? All the terms you listed are so unrelated.

It is only that some of you here are so bloody afraid to say the truth. All you guys want is to move on without taking note of the fact that One of your so called elders showed how dark he is in supporting the insult to my mother and you take it lightly. If you cannot hit the hammer the way it should be hit. Then let me do it for you. Period
I don't think at 45 years of age and my personality i should be afraid of anything talk less of faceless forum.

Pls you are free to do anything here but i believe we should have it cool here irrespective of differences.

It's your world so you are free.

what are you even saying? Just because puel decided to start diabate doesn’t mean he displaced anybody. Coach can decide to start a particular player for tactical reason. Are you trying to say diabate displayed nacho or Mahred Cos he started just one game ahead of them? Same way some people was yabbing dust on how Zapacosta finna bench Moses Cos he managed to scored against Qarasbag. When nacho was tearing net in fa cup with his heavenly left foot, you nor talk anything o.
Kelly man have you read the comments between liedetector and thegoodjoe on Iheanacho and Diabate on Man city vs Leicester match.

If you have not pls do so,i believe it would give you a platform to address liedetector especially on some point raised by him cos thegoodjoe was able to have great discussion on it.

Mujtahida:
Truth is not the exclusive preserve of anybody not even you. It's even often a matter of perception. Hammer them with the truth. Sure I very much like that. But I know that they too have the freedom to hammer back. After all ko.mekn and for.giveness believe ever so passionately that they are speaking the truth yet they've been attacked the most on this thread. One truth against another truth. Hammer against hammer. It's fair to me. My point is this: it does not lie in the mouth of anyone to shut others down not even in the name of the truth. At least this is a public forum created specifically for debates, discussion and exchange of ideas.

Glass of water on the table. The optimist sees it as half full, the pessimist sees it as half empty. Both views are fact, both views are the truth. Perception is reality.

I have absolutely no objections to the truth. BUT I take a very strong objection to shutting people down. I take strong objection to insults, disparaging talk, to disrespect.
Mujtahida this should be your last response cos you and TheSuperNerd really surprised me.

I thought two of you are one of the most intelligents posters here but really disappointed cos least expected of you to continue in round hole discussion.

Pls leave Iheanacho issue with the two camps to sort it out, enough and let's talk football cos world cup is approaching.

TheSuperNerd:
Sir TheGoodJoe, My honorable Sir, the past is past but elements of it still shapes the future and the present....

I had to mention it because it seems Mujtahida forgets that the hammer of truth is more powerful than the silly hammers of Anti-truth on the matter of our young players. How many times have I been hit back at on this thread yet I still stand tall... wink

He said they will hit back as if he doesn't know they have been doing it for how long now yet it has no single effect... it has all failed. All hits were as lame as the hammers they wielded. Truth is always stronger.

The only time things went out of line was when someone cowardly called out my Mom... Something even Egbon Forgiveness will never do no matter how deeply engrossed in arguments with you he is. And I recall telling some who came to meet me on my other little thread that I know certain monikers smiled when that happened...

Lo and behold, a moment just had to come... a moment to vindicate my statement made out of certain observation... and Goldfish80 exposed himself as one of those monikers... he cannot hide it anymore. That is just who he is.

It takes a mind that is deeply psychological to knock off the walls of pretense some monikers wear here... That is what happened to Goldfish.

So in the end... I am just a deeply passionate and nerdy guy who loves Nigerian football and does so without any ulterior motives or hate towards/bias against any one player in the green and white. I love and have followed Nigerian football from different angles and I have studied the generations of the team......

When I walked into NL Sports in 2015 after SL10.ng closed down, I didnt know my moniker was already noticed there and followed here by a few... I came in here with a song on the possible rise of another grand golden generation and in every such generation there are major players and Star acts key to the exploits and growth of that generation... and this is what I am out to protect in letters and words... we cannot be having people come here and get battered by the strong wind of half-truths and heavy pessimism and then expect not to have a war to ensure that truth gets out there and is not swallowed by the negative atmosphere.

We have what I call subtle enemies of Nigerian football here who we must contend with to ensure that our message on Nigerian football is not choked up or killed away.

When a lie is repeated times without number, it will become truth to many soon. Hitler did this and it worked.

When nonsense is being uttered and no one can challenge that because they want to have peace... I wonder what kind of peace they are after while the truth suffers to have a voice bearer.

I am here to propagate the Good news of Nigerian football and to show that indeed a new golden generation is rising and we must keep fanning that flame with positive views and not predominant negative views taking the so called disguise called "Constructive criticism".

This is what the clashes on this thread is mainly about... nothing more. Every other thing said is just a cover -up.

So the past will stay buried but its lessons still have impact for today. It is well.
TheSuperNerd life is full of hatred, jealousy, backbiting etc and it takes wisdom to survive it and the only way to survive it is to overlook a lot of things and move ahead.

Third on log of table...

Apart from Iheanacho and Ighalo i don't see any striker again,Nwakaeme at 29 with a cap and playing in Isreal get as ebi my man and watching him against Algeria not even close to Ighalo or Iheanacho level.

It may sound some how but if Nwakaeme deserves a call again then players like Martins Obafemi,Ogbeche and Ideye deserves a call too to slug it out in camp.

I just notice something about this thread that so many people hate iheanacho for no reason, but they are quick to praise others players who are not good enough, there was a guy even considering kayode olanrewaju for the World Cup list, maybe he think super eagles is the Somalia national team,a player that cannot make a girona team is not good enough for super eagles bench.
Pls my man let's take this hate of a thing out of it and talk football.

Iheanacho remain the face of Nigeria football cos he is our homegrown talent just like Kanu of Japan 93 fame and Mikel of 2003,so expect a lot of discussion on him either positive or negative. One thing is clear nobody can take Iheanacho quality from him no matter the criticism.

Oh Kayode Olarewaju not good for WC when we are not playing Somalia, this your statement showed total disrespect to the player in question.

Pls let always gives respect to our players even if it's negative criticisms. They deserves it cos it's not easy.

no problem sir...so sorry for the way I replied...especially wit my use of words...I was very angry then...

it is because of reason to support our own that's why we are here.... boldly anywhere whenever people ask me which team fan am I...I first tell them I am a super eagles fan prior telling them I am a Chelsea fan too.

I remember in one of the week during the CHAN tourney I sacrificed one of chelsea's match just to watch the chan team play...

when the npfl started in 2003 under the leadership of chief obaseki the league was in gradual progression....to the extent that globacom and mtn started battling for the sponsorship right....

I remember how I sit glued to the NTA sport news wit Paul ogazi to watch the npfl highlights...then insurance of Benin and enyimba of aba were my club....complete sports and today sports I never missed...
then we had governors who love football...and see the sponsorship of this clubs as no big deal...

the problem have suffered recently and the gradual decline is poor management problem....just yesterday I read the NBC will be sponsoring the super eagles to the tune of 2.5B naira...this you will agree wit me..became a reality because of the recent success and organization of the super eagles team....same fate could befall the npfl clubs should the league become more organised...even wit little pay...the league can become attractive..
No wahala but did you know the same NFF are in charge of Super eagles and NPFL,then why good organization in eagles and not NPFL.

Let me tell you basic facts about Super eagles that a lot refused to know, the success of the team especially qualification for WC brought out what we see as good organization, nothing more, still the old way of doing things

The same NFF were in charge during Rio 2016 where we have one of the most useless preparation ever in the history of Nigeria football to the extent a player need to pay $35k to bail the team out.

Let the result go other way which i don't pray for then you would know NFF are the most unorganized organization, have you forgot Shehu Abdullahi yellow card scandal,we nearly missed WC for that singular act, three point lost and till today what was the outcome of Pinnick panel.

Oga Kog45, we have always cautioned peeps here on names calling and I am sure you know that.

We are all wired differently. There are some people that find it difficult to change some things about themselves.

We have always preached caution and some level of restrain when we engage in certain arguments and with that most of us that have adhered to this have not had our Fathers or mothers insulted.

There are certain things we cannot completely eradicate from a public forum like this. We can only minimise such. No system is perfect. We can only strive towards perfection.

And to every member of the house it is very important that we respect each other's views. There is always room for criticism but we must learn to do that with respect.
Yes respect much be the order of the day here

We should all call down please.

No need to point fingers at anybody. We are all here to discuss football. And on a public forum like this you will always meet people with divergent views.

I have said it before that the only person that has not been criticised here is that person that has not said anything here.

This is place where everyone is free to air his/her opinion but also know that your opinion is not Law.

I use to call some people some players' attorneys here. That is them. Expect them to come tackling when their favorite players are being criticised. So if you want to critic any of those players gather enough points to back up your comments. And you'll be fine.

Liedetector, that is it. Don't take it personal. That is how we roll here.

Elyte89huh A big fan of Nacho? Looooollll.... Elder sir Kog45... Abeg I fear you have made a huge faux pas here. Maybe he did a good job of disguising his views on Nacho becos he never truly came out but his bias was never lost on me. I have known since a long time now that elyte89 actually supports the anti-nacho views but he does his in jokingly and diplomatically...

Nothing can be hidden here ooooo... Hahahahahahahahaha.... I read between the lines beautifully. wink

Elyte89 have never been balanced on Nacho issues. Never. And a balanced poster? How? because he drops jokes? He only drops jokes and hardly contributes to issues here so how is he balanced biko? He hardly speaks... And now I guess he has found a topic he can now go full throttle on any time of the week.... "Iheanacho" cheesy

He hardly contributes much to major discussions here and now he has found a cause to follow....

"To voice out against Nacho"

Come on, it is only those who are naive that will be fooled by what he wants you all to believe that he has always been a big fan of Nacho. "A big fan" of Nacho won't change overnight and start being Anti-Nacho... This shows what he has been all along. Case closed on that one.

So plssss when you think of "very high" balanced posters next time Elder Sir.... Plsss consider Boss Joseph1013, Sir Tbaba1234, and Chief Icon4s. Thank you.
Well if you said he is not a balance poster here regards Nacho, not really know but i don't see him as one cos my only grouse with him were his comical approaches to sensitive issues here but Lie detector comment were simple football analysis which is not hate to me but hate to you cos we view things differently.

And humping in four goals with a red card against an equally domestic side is not a disgrace?...

You just vindicated my point
Sir did you know Morocco have not won any major senior cup for past 40 years plus

Did you know the starting eleven of Morocco CHAN team were made up from 5 Raja and 4 Wydad players.

Did you know that the majority of starting eleven did not played against Sudan in their last match and gave them fresh legs in the qtr, semi and final match.

Did you know Morocco played all their six matches in the same stadium.

Did you know other teams need to travel by road to some stadia to honour their matches.

Did you know Morocco was a host and they had massive support knowingly they have not won any major cup at national team for so long.

I'm saying this to tell you it's not that easy though not an excuse for bad performance but mind you we played Morocco in the final.

Truly our team struggle to the final without clear performance but despite that they made it to the final, some would say Ezenwa and Ajiboye played a major role in our performance but they are part of the team.

I believe we can do better next time, losing 4 nil in the final not really good for any team but i remember Brazil losing 3 nil to host France during France 98 final, the same Brazil lost 7-1 to Germany at 2014 WC even as a host, heaven did not fall.I remember our present Super eagles lost 2- nil to South Africa at home,so nothing new about it.

Pls this is football and it happens sometimes and we just need to take it and move on and plan ahead for better performance

That is how we roll here. Most times in an argument you have to pull the weight against 4,5 at times all members of the thread.

If you make statements about a player be it positive: some will say you are over hyping the player or be it negative: some will even call you a hater.

Just be ready to back up your comments with valid points and facts and trust me by so doing you can pocket the whole thread.

It is all fun here.
Icon4s the guy should be bitter cos is new here and his comments towards Iheanacho was not hate but simple football analysis but guess what normal things roll 'HATER'

This forced elyte89 who i know as a very balanced poster despite his humorous attitudes even a great fan of Nacho to come out and said is ready to join perceived anti Nacho on the thread.

Sir I don't see reason why some always believe that any contrary views on Nacho is hate even if the posters made the comments on a goodwill.

The Pro Nacho should be able to distinguish between hate comment and good contrary comment.Iheanacho belongs to us all not to some people.
