tglobal: Kog45 I made some edits in . Dont think Agbonavbare ever played for Deportivo. I know Rufai was, though in 1998 Good, Keshi went to WC attached if I can remember he left Anderlecht 91/92 moved to Strasbourg 92/93 when the club was in second division and played for the club when they got promotion to elite league,I can remember he had a very serious knee injury. Yea Agbonavbare was with Rayo Vallecano i can recollect now but it seems he played for Deportivo too. Yea Rufai once played for Deportivo always on the bench for Jacques Songo of Cameroon.Prior to WC he was on the stable of Go Ahead Eagles, though i remember he had issue. After WC he moved to Farense in Portugal. Yea Ben Iroha Vitesse Arhem, initially thought Utrecht or NAC Breda. Good old days that guys sat glue to TV watching Segun Odegbami live from Papendal and Dudu Orumen football show |

Lazyerudite: Joel Obi might have been a good player but can he still perform at that top level? If so, invite him. People should however desist from insulting our present crop of players. And those clamouring for dressers. Not all players can be invited, we seem to forget that some players might not even fit in into the coach's style of play and hence they look bad. This does not mean that they are poor players. And on people claiming that a player must be in the best league to play. National team is a different ball game, ask Mahrez and the likes. Whether it is the Scandinavian or Asian league, once the player can deliver, just allow him to play and not all these agent like talks GBAM |

junnyjake: Ask those who played at Spain at a certain point in their career, they'd tell you how the atmosphere is there. Most of those Hispanic countries love foreigners and try as much as they can to make them comfortable.
The coach who believes in him was sacked.
The only reason why he had a chance at goal was because the 1st choice was injured, now that he's back, you will have to determine Uzoho is good enough to displace the 1st choice. Thank you,Spain and Italy remain only sure bet for illegal immigrants so i don't know why he got the info that they are hostile. |

Did you see anyone saying Uzoho is not ahead, what we are saying is this the good performance of Uzoho w definitely give hope to Alampasu. I don't want to talk on Spanish league division 3 and Portuguese division 3 cos both league are not better than NPFL, I want Uzoho as Deportivo number 1 nothing more the same thing Alampasu as Farense number 1 so that we can have healthy rivalry. |

forgiveness: Don't expect Alloy Agu to give Ajiboye the chance to prove himself in the CHAN.
Anyway, I agree with you on the three choice goalkeepers but they want t force Ezenwa on us.
However, I still expect Eyeama to join the team and I hope Dele Aiyenugba should be given the chance prior to the final selection. I don't think Alloy Agu want Enyeama back though he made some comment recently on him but initially he wasn't dispose to Enyeama return. I don't think Aiyenugba is on their radar cos we have seen Ogu and Nwakaeme from the same league getting invitations. Yes Ajiboye not getting the chance ties to Ezenwa performance, any flop from him that's the end. |

edi287: If you've watched J Obi well you'll know he has work rate too. Back when he was at Inter, he was compared to Edgar Davids. Continuity is the only argument I can see that'll be made for him not making the team. Yes making 23 man list not an issue but starting is a huge task for him. |

forgiveness: To be honest. Uzoho got talent but he is a division 3 player. His situation those not make him better than Alampasu who featured regularly in division 3 last season and has been promoted to the first team this season. His ability is not in question because he has been tested against some of the best clubs ( Fc Porto) in the world and he came out with distinction.
After all, it only took us 2 games in La Liga to give Uzoho the chance in the National team. Whereas, so far, despite his exploit against Fc Porto , Alampasu has not been gven the equal or fair chances to prove himself in all the friendlies he has been invited.
So, to quickly dispose him without a substantial opportunity is tantamount to injustice. That's my point. Alloh Agu is not helping the situation regards our goalkeepers. There is need for him to forget sentiment and give us the best at home or abroad. I believe Uzoho performance w give Alampasu the opportunity cos the two are in the same category nothing much Also i want to see Ajiboye in CHAN may be he can do it. I believe so much in Uzoho, Alampasu and Ajiboye, they can do it. I don't want to talk on Ezenwa and Akpeyi again |

Mickael2: yes!!! You are correct Sir, that was when Tbaba and Forgiveness started saying he should be considered for the world cup, please forgive my memory loss. Yes I think he scored as a sub then, recently their main striker got injured and he was called upon to lead the lines and he didnt register a single shot on target for two games straight and he was sent back to the bench. The boy is not quality, simple and short, but for him we would have been in that Olympics final against Brazil Good just to tell you the depths in Torino squad.Torino of yesteryears w never signed player like Sadiq talk less of loan. |

edi287: I meant only Mikel is better than an inform Joel Obi and that's the truth. He has the work rate to go with his technical ability. He is superior to Onazi and Ndidi in terms of TECHNICAL ABILITY. That's the edge he has over both Onazi and Ndidi. My man am not disputing his TECHNICAL ABILITY superiority but he w need to work hard to displace Ndidi and Onazi. I hope you know how valuable is Ndidi and Onazi to Rohr. TECHNICAL ABILITY doesn't do it alone |

Mickael2: he just came back from an injury, played a game before the international break and scored a goal. Then he played very well in the first half and by the second half you could see him playing with some form of discomfort which is expected of someone who just came back from an injury. But the fact that he just came back from an injury and walked straight into the Torino first XI has answered all your questions, I mean this is Torino, not Trabzonspor or Bursaspor or Figuerense or even Leicester(yes they are relegation contenders now).
I repeat that Joel Obi has never disppointed in a GWG jersey before Pls which club is Sadiq Umar playing for presently |

edi287: I respect them, but Joel Obi is simply more talented. I'm not downgrading anyone but truth is a fit and in form Joel Obi CAN break into our first 11. Am not disputing his talent or saying he cannot break into super eagles but walking straight into eagles first eleven is my dispute. He w need to work and displace Onazi or any other midfielders. Why i say hype is too much, was telling us only INFORM Mikel can stop him. I watched him yesterday, good before he was subbed off, based on yesterday match his first eleven is not guaranteed. My man the present eagles of Rohr not that easy as we are seeing it and it w take a very hard working players inclusive Joel Obi to break into the squad not to say first eleven even it reached a point Iheanacho place was not guarantee in the XI. |

sontoly: To be honest this two is performing better than kayode, but the leagues they play in cannot be compared to the one kayode plays thats the reason.
cyriel even plays in a tougher league compared to paul denmark which is less competitive, may be thats why the stats is in favor of him, he needs to move to a tougher league to be considered. What a good comment. Shehu Abdullahi play in Cyprus league doesn't mean any player playing in Obscure league must be good for Eagles. Honestly Onuachu stats crazy but what about the competition in Danish league. Peter Ijeh remain one of the best Nigerian to play in Scandinavia leagues scoring goals but got the invitation and flopped. Dessers look solid and his stats too is awesome and i believe he deserves invitation but hope he w make it cos eagles don't wait for any player, come in and perform. I w never rate Peter Onuachu and Dessers ahead of Kayode cos what they are doing now Kayode did it last season in Austria league before moving to Man city and loaned to Girona in LA liga. |

Mickael2: If I say Messi will walk into our first XI it is not a disrespectful statement to anyone, it is just what it is. If Joel Obi is invited Ndidi, Etebo, Onazi, Ogu and anyother backwater midfielder we invite will have to either contest for the DMF role(i favour Ndidi here) or sit on the bench for Joel, it's so simple.
Meanwhile Joel Obi has always performed in the GWG, it isn't hype at all, just the fact. My man you said Messi but here we are talking of Joel Obi. I remember the same Joel Obi failed to make the cut when invited by Keshi prior to WC. I respect him as a player and even agitating for his recall.I watched him yesterday with what i saw he cannot walk straight into eagles first eleven. That's my opinion and i stand by it. |

forgiveness: Correct question. Yea is a question that has no answer. I watched Ryan Sanusi and i asked is he a Nigerian, got replied YES then why not invitation? too many players in the midfield,OK,why Nwakili invited?if we have too many midfielders. I realised some make case for players they love to see in the Eagles not on performance and very few make genuine case. Truly nobody expected Nwakili invitation prior to Algeria match and i see some shouted corruption and some said he justified the call up,some said his invitation was possible may be Rohr scouts must have seen him but the big question does he deserved the invitation. Watching Algeria and Argentina he was nowhere to be found and report from camp said he failed to impress which i cannot verify. After Algeria and Argentina i came into conclusion that Nwakili invitation came from a strong recommendation not from Rohr cos he was not under Rohr radar. Paul Onuachu,Samuel Adegbenro are doing well in Scandinavia leagues why suddenly Nwakili. Some bring out stats to justify his invitation but just too glaring he did not deserve it. |

edi287: Joel Obi walks into our first 11 if fit. Only Mikel is better when in form. If Etebo, Ogu, Onazi, etc are making our team, then there's no way in the world a fit Joel Obi doesn't make it. Pls give little respect to Onazi, Ogu and Etebo, truly Joel Obi is a good footballer who injuries has not help his career. I remember Keshi gave him a call prior to WC if am correct but failed to impress.Good he is picking up but i can assured you Joel Obi w not walk straight into Eagles starting eleven. I don't understand what you mean by in form Mikel only better Joel Obi.Let me tell you basic fact it w take a very hard working Joel Obi to bench average Mikel talk less of in form Mikel. Pls go and watch Mikel recent games for Eagles and you w know the shoe is big for Joel Obi,no offence. Eagles have evolved in a special way for just any player to have the confidence that he w walk in straight.Joel Obi have Onazi, Ogu first to contend with and it w not be easy. Truly Joel Obi is good but the hype is too much, let see him again then w decide but telling us Onazi,Ogu,Etebo and others are not match is like downgrading the eagles. We just need to give ve respect to present eagles especially the players for making us proud of the team again cos your analysis on Joel Obi look like the team is average for players like Onazi, Ogu,Etebo to make the team. |

That's enough for someone his age, I doubt any tram would take him a loan straight to their starting lineup. Uzoho got his national team opportunity cos he kept in two LA liga matches not cos he was doung well in division 3,meaning he need to force his way back into contention for Deportivo number 1. I believe he can do it,division 3 might be good for his age but not good for national team. Remember Alampasu was in division 3 last season and cos of that we believe he was not good enough to keep for Eagles. I see Uzoho as potential eagles number 1 but keeping in div 3 w not help him,LA liga 2 should be enough for him to develop as eagles number 1 if he can get a loan deal. |

MAYOWAAK: In the late 1970's Robert Mugabe had acquired international fame as a fearless nationalist and dogged fighter for his people. But he was in fierce struggle with the elderly Joshua Nkomo who believed by antecedent and contribution to the struggle, he should be allowed to lead the movement. When they brought their quarrel to General Olusegun Obasanjo, then the Nigerian military ruler, Obasanjo locked the duo in a room in Dodan Barracks, placing a pistol on the table before them. “When I return, I want you to have solved the problem of Zimbabwe,” he told them. “One of you should be dead; the survivor would go and be the ruler of Zimbabwe!”When Obasanjo returned 15 minutes later, the two of them were still alive.Mugabe agreed to be Prime-Minister, while Nkomo was to be ceremonial President which he later declined preferring to be the Minister of Home Affairs. That was how Zimbabwe became independent in 1980. THANKS for this post than people who want to turn the thread to another tribal war instead of waiting till 2019 and vote for their choice leader |
