See, your last paragraph is where I jump off the boat. I do not believe in such a thing as the "elect". It suggests that there are the "unelected". Those destined to be underprivileged. It's kind of ironic as well when I examine your Bank job example. It's quite peculiar, isn't it? Perhaps, your friend got the job instead of you because he/she was the "elect"? I know that I have drifted off the spiritual there but it still follows.

If we have an "elect" (in a sense, the elite) who have been given secrets then, isn't it unfair? No equal opportunities for all?

Alright then bruh, my bad. However, one thing I was often advised is that you should never search for employment with a friend. That is like Samsung having an exhibition for its products and inviting Apple to have a stall there as well. You don't invite a competitor to your show. This emphasises my point about the type of society we live in.

The spiritual often eludes me, I must say.

Maybe you should stop praying, bruv. I can sort of relate to this without the praying part. I often spend too much time helping people out. I'm not doing bad myself but I know I could do a bit better if I were to become more self centred.

I noticed that the people you mentioned were actively pursuing something and were working at it (I'm not saying that you are sitting ducks). Sooner or later and without your prayers, they were going to succeed anyway.

There is no way to ascertain that your prayers caused their "successes". I am sure you must have prayed for others who did not achieve what they came to you for prayers for. If you can honestly say that 100% of the people you pray for have had their prayers answered 100% of the time, then I can say that you indeed have a "blessing", not a problem. If not, pray less and work more.

If I pray for someone applying for a visa, there are only two outcomes, they either get it, or get declined = 50/50 chance. The visa didn't come out of the blue. It's not magic neither is it a miracle, work was put in, people get visas.

The bank hired that person whose CV you dropped because they needed someone to fill a gap. Maybe you should have dropped yours instead? (if you are looking for a bank job, that is)

It is quite normal for those whom you teach to perform better than you because, you spent your time developing them, rather than yourself. This is not a bad thing if we lived in a collective/communal society where successes and failures are shared by all but unfortunately, we live in an individualistic one.

Don't feel depressed or worried bro, keep working, pray for others less.

The simple solution to your little problem is to change your prayers. Tell God; Father, let Thy will be done in my life. And watch how things will turn out for you.

I am very sure you have been praying amiss. You have a special case with God. There are people like that. God have a case with you but you think you know what you 'want and need'. It's just like Pastor Adeboye asking for a 3 bedroom flat when God wanted to build him a city. See? Just change your prayers. I'm speaking from experience. It may not make sense to you now, but soon, it will.

LOL you have an assignment that God has given to you. You are consecrated,you should be happy that God chose you specially. It doesn't mean your prayers won't be answered,God knows what he is doing,in due time you will see all your prayers answered all at once. Trust me.

when I bought my first car in 2010 I thought its out of my hard working,what gave me the car told me that she was the one that did it,I doubted her,she collected the car and even collected things she didn't give,she brought me to nothing,absolute nothing that I had to go back to my parents house,I became more hard working but lesser result

Infact when I struggle it become worst,I suffered for years begging her to let me go,running up and down,opening threads all over nairaland,I never knew I was doing it the wrong way until I ran to mountain of fire and had a last fight with her which I won, Although I'm coming up again from square one

In conclusion,hardworking doesn't bring success,if it does barrow pushers should be rich,the struggle that gave me a car in 2010,if you multiply it by 20 that's what I struggled in 2013 but couldn't buy a phone

You need to repent from all known sin and especially secret sin. Is not as if your prayers were not answered but the accuser of the brethren (devil) reports you and remind God that you are not tired and sick of your sins. Thereby you are not worth what you are requesting for. He backs it up with the scriptures and Jesus does not take his word with levity. As it is written, the Lord exalt his word more than his name.

seek ye first the kingdom of God, you will see that all your request will start manifesting. You can't live in sin and expect your blessings.

Don't deceive your self. EXAMINE yourself is what the bible said. The devil is very happy at your situation and wants it to continue.

He will test you, tempt you too. If you yield to temptation you will go back to where you started from.

All you need now is to repent, read your bible, pray, praise jesus in your present situation, fast and commit everything to him. Do aggressive prayers, a very hot one and make it continually.

I just called their customer care agent and a nice miss picked and informed me that the test has been extended till 4pm and that the delay is as a result of huge traffic to their server. Good luck to others like me who are yet to take the test.
