Am thinking low-priced cars can be a good deal for the Nigerian market. These cars will usually have any of the following characteristics:

Clean titles
High Mileage
Minor faults, etc.

For example, the 2007 Honda Accord below can land in Nigeria for 700k (purchase price and shipping. You arrange and pay for cost of clearing). Has a mileage of 383,000.

Generally, the clearing cost for shipping will depend on the age, model, type, etc of the vehicle and will range from N300k to about N600k.

So sad, such a promising business venture that could help People get tokunbo cars at compettive price, no one is perfect, I see this guy as someone who try as much as possibe to be honest and straight forward with his dealings and would rather make lose than tarnish his image.

I bought an accord from him last year the video he showed me was very clean, I was very excited, but when car land the car looked like normal naija used accord, dirty inside and some rust outside, I first weak, the thing even get some rust under am, the body wasn't perfect, some parts were broken in the interior , fuel cap door doesnt close, some dent on the body from port, the car was overheating when I was driving it home, Ac wasn't working

But when I reached out to him and explain things, he promised to assign a mechanic to help fix them at no cost to me.

But since I saw these as minor fixes, I just did them myself, I didn't wanted any mechanic touching the car, however to assist me, Amdman wrote off a 50k I was owing him as settlement for whatever I had spent.

One thing I am sure of is Amdman would not deliberately sell you a lemon and if there are fault that were not disclose he will work with you to get them resolved.

Madam and Jesterfly, I believe if you permit amdman to post the chat screenshot with him, we will all be able to deduce who is at fault clearly, and help you resolve this matter.

I gat go check the vidoe inspection before I believe I thought it was naija used ... Oyinbo sun be like fluorescent, no wonder dey dey fit lie down outside, there sun dey fine ... Well after washing and little touch up, omo boy continue with life... God bless Amdman.

I think it is their environment that made things look very fine over there, the white snow , fine buildings , orderliness and the likes, cause it is the same car, apapa whart looks dirty so it will affect the over-all presentation of the car compare how it will look at Cananda. As for the sun, it is the same sun but may be cooler weather.

There are several international merchants that do not require OTP to validate a transaction done on their website online..

Once they have your BIN(Bank Identification Number) which includes the first 6 digits of your ATM, they can generate a working card and shop online..

The person behind this might be in any part of the world. All he needs is your BIN with or without VPN and that's the end...

So many BIN's have been used to purchase phones etc on Amazon, AliExpress etc... Carding is getting real and before the year 2020 ends, there will be lots of Billions lost online due to this ish..

Recovering the said funds might be tricky as the money must have left the ledger balance..

It is not uncommon to buy car from auction site or other source abroad that might have various degree of rust on them, in fact I recently bought one with a nasty rust.

In the past , to get rid of this, I used black-Kolta popularly know as antirust by panel beater, it disadvantage is that the black-kolta harden to a sort of rubberisd substantnce and the rust simple continue to grow underneeth the applied kolta, it is even worst when water get in between the kolta and the car frame.

Another alternative was to apply used engine or transmission fluid, why this might slow down the rust, it however washes off easily and the rust will continue.

Another option was the used of the rather expensive Rustoleum checmical (bull crap) and use of Rubberised undercoating, but same old same old.

After doing much research, I came across a natural product used in making cream and polish called Lanolin (google it). Lanolin is a natural non-organic lubricant wax gotten from sheep and ram. It is the key raw material used in expensive rust proofing product such as FLUID FILM and WOOLWAX (not available in Nigeria). Lanolin is sold at Ojota chemical market, I bought 1k own which was sufficient for my application, it even remain self.

To use it, you need a paint brush, sand paper or wire brush a container to pour in the Lanolin and may be pay 500 naira to use a filling station lube bay for 30mins. You can used you jack stand if you don mind working on your back.

To prepare the lanolin antirust, you can either heat it up a bit so that it dissolve and apply it with your paint brush or spray gun, me I just buy 100 naira empy spray bottle or you can apply it with a brush in it waxy form.

The fluid film created is rugged as hell and it repell water very well, it also hinders oxidation increase rust.

Warning - This product smell like fried ileya meat -- so small smell go dey your body or car for a day or two.

3. But then if I see a car I like and then pay 3k for vin check only to realize it has accidents history would I just take my mind away and keep paying 3k every time cause trust me Nigerian auto dealers would lie that the title is clean until you do your check yourself on the vin.
