He's buying stuff because he likes you

What's wrong with letting him know how you feel ...in a subtle way?

Do you want to risk regretting later about what you could, would or shoulda have done?

Men also need a little help and nudging at times.

Show him a little bit of confidence and watch him react to it.

FamilyRe: Why Are Nigerian Marriages Such A Farce? by kokoye(m): 2:07pm On Aug 31, 2012
Ileke-IdI:
I doubt Nigerians understand that marrying someone is different from keeping that person. What I noticed about Nigerian marriages is their lack of "trying" to keep what they won.
You chose to make this a Nigerian thing. Sad..whatever happened to all the divorce stories you read about in the western world?

I am a Nigerian and I understand the difference. Also, I am in a full Nigerian marriage...divorce is not an option for us.

Same as my parents and parents in-law. They are all Nigerians... happily married for over 50 years and reaping the fruits.

So...?

CultureRe: What's So Special About Male Children? by kokoye(m):
what's special is that wives and mothers-in-law want them badly...even when the husband is not bugging. Most of the pressure come the mother-in-law who is also female.

Until the day females can walk about freely in only their panties and nothing else like males do, forget all the crap about gender equality.
RomanceRe: Married Men,why Do You Remove Your Wedding Ring?. by kokoye(m):
Many reasons

- Some want to look single.

- Some remove it because of the discomfort it causes.

- Some remove it because they cant work with it ....some people need to do physical work with their hands

- Some take it off cos they dont want it to get lost or messed up..like when you're in the bathroom smiley

Once I get home, I take the damn thing off. Uncomfortable. Some ladies will still holla at you even with your ring on..they no send.

Now, we know why you ladies always want to have yours on - show off to your single friends of course! just kidding o..??

FamilyRe: Wedding In Absentia Using Pictures: Your Take by kokoye(m): 6:14pm On Aug 21, 2012
I personally dont agree with sitting beside a picture. I believe you can have an introduction without having to 'take a picture with you sitting beside a picture'.

Having said that, I see nothing wrong with having an introduction in absentia...especially when both of you are together wherever you are and it's just your parents that are doing the introduction.

All is well that ends well

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor-Adeboye's Message To Young Singles On Marriage by kokoye(m): 3:26pm On Aug 21, 2012
Most people leave their brains in the car park on their way to church. They know what is right but still they cant do it because they have turned their pastors into god.

Pastor Adeboye did not speak bible english here. He spoke with common sense..which God gave every single person on this earth.

As far as some are concerned, he was just whistling dixies - they will not do ANYTHING until their pastors tell them to.

We all have a direct channel to God thru our savior Jesus Christ. Not thru anyone or anything else.

Ignorance.
