Kelvin30286063:Chairman of your street decides what pet you keep. Wow. Does it stay in your compound without wondering outdoors to other people's space. If that is so what right has the chairman got to tell you what to keep in your space and what not to if it's not posing s danger to your neighbors. |
Nice. So it can be moved to location or you can come to location and retrofit.... How does it work. |
habaabj:One million naira yearly rental value and N35m distress sale price? Haba ![]() |
IamAnderson:I quite agree with your concern about quality that's why it took me a long time to consider the source of the raw I feed. I do 700 naira per kilo from shoprite. Yes this may be on the high side for some people but at least I know what I'm getting is actually human grade chicken.... Breast, back and runt in the 80:10:10 ratio (meat, bone, fat). I also do organs like liver, kidney and heart etc in small quantities twice a week. All human consumption grade. Then I add allowed fruits and vegetables.... Carrots, pineapple, apple and other OK veggies and fruits prepared in detail removing all that should be removed. Then a tab of multivitamins and cod liver oil daily. So far I'm getting pretty good results. Excellent coat, good breath, small non loose formed poo, agile smart dogs etc. PS: I also do one raw egg about 5 times a week for each dog just to mix it up a bit. Then one pork chop once a week too. |
beatcoins:Nothing of that sort. And to the question there's a growing trend of raw feeding for dogs. People are turning to raw feeding as it is the closest to what dogs or even wolves who are their ancestors feed on till today. The processed food is convenient... Yes. Our cooked meals too can be cheaper. But on the long run if you consider the short digestive tract of dogs raw foods are actually more suitable as they will almost totally be digested, their breath better and you'd notice better stool quality etc. The challenge is getting the right balance of nutrients. You can do some research online. There's a whole lot available to learn from. |
Wow... Boy oh boy |
Readonee35L:Wow... Long trip of deceit going on in this trade I guess. |
Well. Looks like the above vehicle report post ended the thread ![]() But why post untrue details to decieve genuinely interested buyers. Don't just get it. Cos even with the report posted above some peeps will still be interested. I believe. |
Vision2045:You already guessed it's mixed breed.... But you'd like to know the breed Yes some GSD trait in there but what else is in the blood line can be a list . If you like it... Buy and love the dog. |
Though I can not vouch for the extent of their purity the comparison being made as per the circled features may not all be displayed at puppy age. Some pups don't have straightened up ears till 3 months. I've even heard some have taken longer. A better way is to at least see the progeny... Parents. On the alternative pedigree do have history of lineage which can to a large extent give some guarantees concerning the blood line. |

If I may add to the above. Your outdoor AC unit could also attract the snakes. Snakes need an optimum temperature to become active to feed etc. In cold weather when there's no sunlight they seek heat to warm up to that temperature. Under the car or even in the hood are good locations for that apart from the AC outdoor unit. In this case the mechanical approach may suffice. |
is a good snake snack. Then fruit trees that attract birds or even nesting grounds for them can attract the snakes. Eliminate these to cut down the reason they come into your compound. You could also use animals that feed on snakes like some birds, if you can. 3. Chemical : Use of effective ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY chemicals via spray or fog could ward off snakes from compound. This should be last resort having done 1 and 2. |
2. Biological : This is what has been mentioned and advised I can see here. Snake repellant plants etc. How ever more on the biological means is the fact that the snakes may be following prey in to the compound. Rodents etc are culprits. So work backwards. Clear food and rubbish dumps that rodents come to feed on. Trap, destroy colonies etc so snake is not going after them into your compound. Water logged areas can also harbour frogs which is a good |
So let me give my thoughts. There are a couple of ways to take care of pests. You may apply three. 1. Mechanical : Secure the perimeter of your compound so they don't have easy access. In the case of snakes, drainage channels, holes in the fence, clearance underneath gate, over hanging trees into compound etc. These are access points. Secure them. |
Mckandre:I didn't remember you Mr. When someone makes misrepresentations, like in this case a clear one week was missing, I tend to take other things from them with a pinch of salt. If I may say you tried to mislead us by the post from that screenshot. I had my reservations from the day you posted those shots. One and half weeks old GSD with eyes wide open... I scratched my head. |
Mckandre:If by February 21st they were one and weeks old meaning 10 or even 11 days old. And now you say they were born on 4th February. Going by the screen shot above how come there were one and half weeks by what you posted. 4+10 or 11 = +/- 14th February. Your post was on 21st. |
Mckandre:Just curious if they were one and half weeks on February 21st which is 18 days ago or there about (two and half weeks) it adds up to four weeks now. So one or the other is not adding up.

Looks good for that age. |
Really cool |
It's still a puppy. Some have their territorial instincts kick in earlier than others. Build it's confidence. Keep happy. It will come around in time. |
