Actually there is a lot wrong. It is actually an insult on almost the whole Nigerians. It is an insult to the SW Muslims as there "muslimness" is not enough to be represented by one from there. It is an insult to every northern christian as you are saying there is no one competent enough from those parts. It is also an insult to all Christians in Nigeria cos you are saying to them "I don't give a hoot about you"

For balance and fairness ...it is an insult.

First, Buhari will rule this country to a halt. Everything will be messed up. Dead economy, insecurity.
He will win again in 2019 against Atiku. Atiku will pick Peter Obi as Vice .
2023 election, Peter Obi will dump the PDP to Labor party. He will have the support of the youths .
Atiku will beat Wike to the PDP primary.
APC primary will be marked by controversies. There will be talk of consensus candidate. Osibanjo and Amaechi will be tipped.
But Tinubu will get the ticket. He will buy his way in.
Tinubu will be so sick.
He won't win. The people will reject him and ATIKU.
Peter Obi will win the election with Labor Party.
They will want to cancel the election but international community will intervene with threat of sanctions against Nigeria.

Do the initials to get her ready next time. Deworm and ensure her vacs are upto date. Let a vet do a quick infection test once you notice the initial discharge before heat commences. Run vaginal cytology and progesterone test to ensure you are breeding her within the right window. Ensure the stud you use is proven.

Barring any unforseen Circumstances she should become pregnant.

Whatever breeds you getting what matters most is feeding....I will rather buy a non pedigree well feed and vaccinated than buy a pure breed who isn't well feed and vaccinated.

Let me help you in the journey of discovery again. What makes the pups long hair? Cos even if your story of the hair of dam was shaved the Sire is not a long hair and from a few tips on long hair pups I can see very few of it if not totally absent.

Poster the parents pics you shared do not match the topic. Both parents are not long coat/ hair. They are not also showline as you have not been able to show us how they are showline.

You can be sure they are showline GSD before they are fully grown. The reason you can be sure is when you are sure they have come or bred from any of the showlines (American or West German)

A Showline dog is a dog bred from a lineage of dogs bred for the show-ring. One can only tell a Showline dog through its pedigree. For a Puppy to be called a Showline, both parents should be showlines.

What you have copied and pasted are characteristics of the line which they generally conform to.

Oga, what you wrote that makes them showline is wrong. The only way you can let us know they are either American showline or West German showline is through the lines from which they were bred from.
This claim "both parents are pet dogs, friendly and very calm" by you is a fallacy and in no way on this earth to claim they are showline. We only showed interest so you do not mislead people.

Artificial insemination was carried out on my dog on the 19th of April.

I don't see her belly protruding yet, but I checked her vagina a while ago and I saw some whitish fluid discharge and a swollen vagina as well, her nipples are also a bit pointed.

Are these signs of pregnancy or did the artifical insemination not go well?

I tried to get a vet to perform a scan, but I haven't been able to. I'll provide some pictures so experts can help.

They are preliminary signs of pregnancy if she's already 39 days gone from dates of inseminations. If you can, do an ultra sound scan for confirmation. You may watch out for the abdomen to become larger from around day 42 - 45 with an increased apatite as she is now feeding for herself and pup(s).

So an update. My friend just called and says he was advised at the hotel he stayed to go early to Onitsha and move from there. He also confirmed now that he got a direct bus from Ontisha going to Calabar for 6k. A sienna too. He is elated.
The name of the transport company is Onitsha South.

A friend is currently in Asaba and wishes to take a trip to Calabar. Anyone with suggestions of transport companies that run that route and where they are located.
If the journey needs to be broken please give suggestions on the best hops.
Hopping by air is not in his plans as this means either a hop into Lagos or Abuja before a connection flight to calabar.

Howling is a means of communication that they do in the wild where packs hold down territories. By howling they set their boundaries and let other packs know they are here and should not cross over. Secondly it is used to demonstrate their strength as a team to deter other packs from coming to attack or take over their territory.

It is harmless. It is their language.

My landlord dog was like that, whenever they mate her she stretches frequently and as a result of stretching she looses the pregnancy.

This is the solution: after mating, tie rope on one leg in front and the other end of the rope on one leg at the back. Make sure the rope is not too long from both legs so she won't be able to stretch.

She will feel uncomfortable but Make sure you don't loose the rope till she conceive and gives birth.

I don't really know how she does it but she once her pregnancy becomes visible, piam e don comot. But my mum said it was because she was stretching way too much which is not suppose to be so. Neighbors say make we tie am cloth for belle but that dog na weyrey.

First of all stretching does not cause miscarriage. There could be various reasons why she did not carry to term. Undetected underlying infections may be responsible or her body is not physically or physiological fit to do so.

The dog we had then refused to get pregnant, we got worried about it but did nothing. she later got pregnant twice but intentionally self-aborted it immediately she takes in.

She later carried the third one till full term and even gave birth inside the house, right underneath my bed. Omo I avoided that room for like a week, u go near her pups, you go see craze that day.

Observe your dog and check if she does this after mating. If yes, then she's delibrating removing the sperm to prevent pregnancy..otherwise take her to a vet.

Dogs are different and like humans they ovulate at different time period. Not every dog ovulate during the popular timeframe that we usually assume which is from day 10, some ovulate as early as day 5, while some only start ovulating as late as day 16.
To monitor your dogs ovulation period, you may need to do a progesterone test, or atleast use an ovulation microscope.
There is the common misconception that once a female is flagging, it means she is ovulating but that is not always so, there are bitches that flag without ovulating, and some ovulate without flagging.
Recently I had a dog that came on heat, I started the ovulation testing from day 1, from day 1 to day 14, I saw nothing, meanwhile she started flagging at day 9, I was already fraustrated, and then finally on day 15, she started ovulating, she was eventually mated at day 15, 16 and 17, which are days that most people would have even stop mating thier dogs, as most people do day 9 to day 14.

Note: once a bitch is ovulating, only one mating can even get her pregnant

If I may add to this ...you may also do a vaginal cytology test coupled with progesterone test. It will give you bulls eye window period to mate.

Besides these ensure you do a vaginal swab test to be clear there is no underlying infection. If you can, you can also do a hormone profile to be sure also she does not have hormone imbalance.

After the above ensure you use a proven male.

She should conceive.

OK. Since it for companionship and security ...if you can invest in some training so the dog is more effective.
