Career / Re: My Former HR Is Disturbing Me by kombitel(m): 1:12pm On Nov 17, 2021
My Brother,

Please check you appointment letter from that company, If you see any statement like "One month notice period or payment in lieu" - it is binding on you. it means you are still owing them half month pay as part of notice. They may not arrest you to reclaim it but if they ever get any back ground check letter from a future company you may work for, Be rest assured they will raise that matter.

From experience, its an Intergrity issue and you may be fired in your new company.

What i advise is, please go meet them and agree a 3-6 months re-payment plan for the balance of the notice period in case you don't have cash now.

This is my brotherly advise. But you can reject it if you get a better advise.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: N150k Job In Lagos Vs N120k Job In Ibadan Which Is Better? by kombitel(m): 3:07pm On Mar 18, 2021
The question is really dependent on many factors especially what stage are you in life. & your kind of life style you want to build for the future.
If below 40 and ready to hustle - i recommend you go to Lagos
If above 40 and ready to take life easy - I recommend Ibadan

The Good thing is Lagos shows you what else life has got to offer. Opportunities abound and many potential people equally fit if not fitter to take on them. Nothing says you cannot survive and even excel … if you put your heart to it and mother luck smiles.

Ibadan allows you to survive on your level without fear of bankruptcy.

The Kaduna we grew up in between 1980 -2000 was way finer and more luscious and habitable than this pictures posted here. I remember Zaria GRA back in the years! The city lost it all after the 2001 Needless and purposeless sharia riots that achieved absolutely nothing to those who propagated it.

When i visited 2 years ago, the place was a shadow of itself. Looking unkept and forsaken.

My brother,

I no blame you at all ….!!!

I see you are on cloud nine from the picture attached to your post and therefore, I take note that you may have little control of your faculties. A country that produced MUGABE, one of the unholy trinities of animalistic looting and moronic corruption on the universe (in consonance with ABACHA and SESE SEKO) is now the country you believe is better in morals than Nigeria.

When the head was that rotten, you think he did it alone without people working for him

And you think those foot soldiers came from the moon, they were other Zimbabweans.

Count yourself lucky, thank your God and your chi for leading your footsteps aright and shut your trap before the ever militant Nigerian thunder locate your abode.

Nansense!

Your logic is very sound I must say ...BUT the presentation didn't come out with the intention. Judging by what people have read and how they responded, its clear that people read it as the balck always bows to the white guy which is complete opposite of what they intend to communicate.

You know communication is not really what you say, Its what the hearer understands :-)

They would have shown the 2 pictures of kneeling + the hug after the kneeling. Then the wordings should have been "everyone has a duty to solidarise with this global movement, Black lives matter"

Have you ever praised the man sincerely for a job well done?

Its like a wrestling match, sometimes when the other party has overwhelmed you, acknowledge it and tell him he has won.

Just seat him down one day and say, My Darling "you are a true man, a horse, A bull" I acknowledge your sex prowess. Please take it easy on your princess. The fire power is too much. I totally surrender, you have won in that department. I am appealing for mercy. Instead of daily battles, can we have twice or thrice a week? You dont need to show me pepper anymore ... You are the champion!

Watch that man restructure his appetite. It works like magic.

Soyinka has to keep quiet for the rest of Buhari's 3 years. No public commentary.
Anything he has to say to Buhari should be done through the same channel he used in endorsing him for President in 2015.

We have very serious pandemic to deal with and we are trying to help our communities stay safe.
No time for old men who have nothing meaningful to say with their supposed God given loud voices.

Buhari has locked down the 3 states and sent armies to enforce it. Please go to court.

What stopped them from sending whatever welfare package they have to all Nigerians using their BVN to ensure accountability since BVN can be tracked And then do whatever they want to do for those in remote villages without bank account or BVN through their traditional rulers and local councilors

The answer is they want to use this opportunity to loot and steal billions as usual, and to roll out free food and crumbs to their lazy brothers in the north who contribute nothing to Nigeria's economy, leaving those contributing to the growth of Nigeria through hardwork behind.

I will keep saying it for the whole world to read and know that black people are the curse of the world!!!

Black people are selfish, wicked, inhumane to one another, corrupt by default, greedy, and very envious.

The only thing a black leader like governor, senator, president, minister, commissioner, LGA Chairman understand is how to steal public money to make himself and his family and close political allies rich forever. They don't care about their citizens.

Every black person is corrupt just waiting to manifest once given a political or leadership position in the society, office, organization, etc.

The only black man that does not steal is the one that is not in a political or leadership position, or the one that has not gotten the opportunity to manage or handle organization or society funds.

Black people can only observe decorum when they are working under the supervision and leadership of a whiteman, or when they are living in a whiteman's country where they know that their nonsense will not be tolerated because he will be severely punished by the white man's law without twisting or allowing him to bribe his or her way out like he does in his backward black nation.

If I was born a white man and I am the President of my country, no black man will be given visa to my country and any black that eventually succeeds in entering my country will be locked up, and if by chance he marries a white lady, I will make a law that will forbid giving him permanent resident or citizenship just like it is done in Malaysia and some Asian countries. Black men and women all over the world are fools, they should go back to their countries and fight their foolish leaders and fix their nations, it is becoming a global disgrace.

A time is coming when all nations will hate blacks so much that black people will become endangered species in any foreign country, whether they are citizens of that country or not and I will gladly support the white supremacists when that time comes, I don't care if they deal with me too cos I deserve it for being part of this black retards, it hurts!!

It hurts to see Buhari and the likes govern the biggest black nation!

It hurts to see youths who are supposed to be the hope of the black nation supporting failed leaders like Buhari and co!!

It hurts to see how unorganized and dirty Nigeria looks!!

Whites have fought more world wars than any other race in the world. They have more gun violence. They owned the drug cartels and mafioso.

There is still regions of poverty and constant need for bailout for many European nations despite existing for over 300 years of so called "civilization" e.g Greece, Portugal, Armenia e.t.c.

Lets flog ourselves with some respite.

Africa will rise again, just some adjustments and generational shifts that will soon be done with & we see a new continent.

Very un-necessary request by the governor.
What is the justification? You don't have a case yet and you expect a FG to just give you 1BN naira?

Maybe he feels because Lagos was given 10bn, he needs 1bn to spend on his lavish lifestyle just the way he has wasted the savings from the previous govt on frivolous and non value adding activities.

From having the best driveable roads in south east, Obiano has rendered Anambra roads completely non-passable!!

Exactly what a governor should not be.

This guy is just young but no depth at all. What has number of sim cards got to do with delivering a sector that grows the economy?
DO you know a guy can own 4 SME,s and you expect him to run them all from one line, what happens when he travels to a location where there is no coverage of that line?

The Minister is just behaving like the Chief Meigaurd of the NCC instead of the CEO of the same body.

- Data reliability is horrible in Nigeria and keeps getting worse
- Dropped calls at all time high
- Telecom Network operators promising bogus and non consumer friendly packages and nobody holding them to account.
- Very poor options for value sharing and other specialized VAS applications.
- Very expensive call rates compared regionally.
- Very alarming roaming charges left unchecked like forever
- Very minimal new investments in network expansion e.t.c
- Almost no opinion on the roll out of 5G when other markets are even conceptualizing 6G already (Even our 4G behaves like 1.5G most times :-( )

Abeg, he has to shape up or ship out.
That's why am not such a big fan of the not too young movement. It should be about vision and capacity!!!!

This man is obviously out of touch, When you can afford to send your child to London, how will you understand the pains of the man who has not been paid for 5 months in Benue state or Osun state? How will you connect to the pains of the man who has been laid off by diamond bank or salary slashed by 50% overnight by Heritage bank!

Lets get it clear...Hardship in Nigeria has grown in last 2 years. The logic is simple. Inflation at circa 20%. Salary flat. Non food inflation at 100%. There is no way quality of life will remain the same. What he should know is there is what economists call elastic limits in demand and supply. If the guy in the village where he priced the so called foodstuff cannot afford any price higher than what he bought, He should know they will never pay more. A man who makes 18k as basic salary & u think he is enjoying where transport cost alone can wipe off his earnings. Where is the luxury to be calling tomatoes of 1000NGN "cheap"?

If he has nothing more constructive to say, He can please hold his peace.

We need ideas now to expand opportunities and come out of recession and not some sh*t talking nincompoop.

So what does he expect the media to say ... Nigerians are living eldorado Rabbish.

If the president knows his onions, He should state that the off guard remark by Cameron is highly detestable and out of touch & as a result Nigeria is demanding an unreserved apology. Cancel appearance on the anti corruption summit. Return back and summon the british permanent rep to deliver a notice of displeasure by the Nigerian state to Britain.

That way, Cameron will watch his tongue next time. BUT alas... Our president "GENERAL" and POWER na for Olisa Metuh and FFK body e dey show. He can lap anything in the name of appearing good to UK & USA.

Recall when Obama went to Kenya and started talking rubbish about gay freedom, The Kenyan President told him to cut the crap & discuss how both countries can do good business. Gay is not top of mind for Kenyans.

You are not correct on this one my broda. Its not an IPOD or IPAD or BB matter.
An active Minister of Finance should own the coordination of the budget procedure even though the budget minister works the detail because the senate holds the president and minister of finance responsible for macro economic indicators and never the budget minister.

How does the budget man know where to borrow funds from and where to repay? what strategy planks to deploy to stimulate the economy, inflation rate impacts, job creation statistics, etc

Kemi Adeosun has not measured up to par on this job but the popularity of Buhari has covered up for a lot of the incompetence's by these set of ministers!

never before in the history of this country has there been so much directionless directionlessness and very desperate attempt at docility by a sitting government at the federal level.

What these government doesn't understand is every day wasted without a budget is one or more investor who takes his money else where!!!
At the end, you say criminals are bursting pipeline when people are been laid off everyday with no welfare basket to catch them.

Why do we celebrate just an intention to invest by the Chinese govt when this same partners has never thought it wise to balance trade with Nigeria. its in ratio 1:6. A small country like Nigeria buying 6x what china buys from us.

Essentially, we have lost 1 year post inauguration arguing for issues like dasuki gate, nnamdi kanu, Fulani hersdmen, zakzaky, GEJ, PMB while neglecting fundamentals of a bright future like:

- Quality Education
- Job Creation
- Improved infrastructure
- Judicial reforms
- Security of life & properties
- Economic diversification

Another key thing is Nigerian universities should really stop been jack of all trades & attempt to specialize in core areas e.g medical sciences, Engineering, Management Sciences e.t.c.
