Anthocracy:
He'llo guys, there is one thing that I am sensing from this NRC written interview invitation. People who applied but were not invited may likely "invite" themselves since there was no specific location successful applicants were told to go for the interview. This, therefore leading me to ask this question, what do you think that would happen to those that decided to invite themselves?

Thanks.
Hmm......One question for u. What if they ask u to present the text message sent to everyone invited?

PoliticsRe: Third Class Graduates Should Not Be Allowed To Hold Important Political Posts by komzy589(m): 12:07am On Mar 29, 2017
Doriana2:
The ambiguities involving Dino Melaye's certificate scandal has overwhelmed Nigeria's news space. The pertinent reality that only few people talk about is: Either a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria did not graduate from a university or he graduated with an abysmal grade. It is now clear that a major part of Nigeria's  problem is the high number of uneducated and underqualified leaders occupying important political positions. This is unfortunately accompained with a populace that does not seem to care.‎
There was a recent thread of a proud third class civil engr Uniben graduate. While we admire the young man's courage to accept his subpar performance in school, we detest the idea that third class graduates should be allowed to occupy sensitive political postions. Nigerians have to realize that: ONLY excellent and qualified employers can make an organization excellent. Political positions should be treated as an important job vacancy and elections should be seen as a serious job interview.  It is because Nigerians don't pay attention to the qualities presented by 'prospective job applicants' and majorly look at tribe, religion or 'Number of Rice Bags shared' that we are in this mess of a country.
Unintelligent people would reply by saying 'Many People with 2nd class and 1st class are not as rich as some with 3rd class? They go on to proffer as an example, a detestable and morally reprehensible creature like Dino Melaye. The obvious answer is 'the ineffectual and unqualified political office holders are the cause of the failed experiment called Nigeria. The high rates of unemployment and wealth inequality are due to exactly leaders of such groups.

Another class of mentally myopic individuals would cite an example like Goodluck Jonathan, who was a PHD holder but was also mediocre as a leader.‎
The not so obvious ‎answer to this comes in the form of a parable: 'Lack of good tomatoes does not mean we should cook stew with sand'. The fact that GEJ was terrible should spur us on to properly screen our leaders (plus political parties) and request for even better qualities. We should not make the mistake again ‎of selecting someone bad just because average did not work out.
A country of 180 million people demands someone intelligent and capable to run it. Lives and futures are literally at stake. We should not take the posts of the president and senators as a testing ground for failures in school. A successful organization like first bank will not employ a third class graduate as CEO so why should NIGERIANS accept third class graduates (or complete illiterates) as senators?
The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically and not to qualify one to be placed in a position of affluence. You are clearly frustrated that your educational success didn't make you smart enough to do better than those that finished with 3rd class. My dear, its only hard work in all front that can bring success.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: FCSC Recruitment Exercise, Pre-arranged With Fraud&god-fatherism. CALL 4 PROTEST by komzy589(m): 8:27pm On Mar 18, 2017
donwalexy4148:
#BringBackOurEmployment# (A call for protest)

Fellow Nigerians,
The time has come for us to come together in solidarity and rally for our collective good, The time has come for we the youth to wake up from our slumber. The time has come for us to take what is rightfully ours. The time has come for us to speak out against the enemies and progress of our country Nigerian. The time has come for us to stand up and speak with one voice.
Fellow Nigerians, we must say enough of favoritism, god-fatherism, nepotism and tribalism at the ways and manner sons and daughters of the powerful are been recruited into the federal civil service.
Fellow Nigerians, i will like to draw to your notice that the entire recruitment process was a fraud and big scam, every name on the list has already been pre-arranged, organised and executed.

We noticed a lot of irregularities and fraud in the already released list (batch A) which include
1. Why would the name of a graduate with 3rd CLASS be on the list of a position meant for a GL10 officer, which was supposed to be a position occupied by a Masters degree holder. "big slap to education"
2. Why was the finance ministry not published or released in some state?
3. Why was some states not equally represented? "wat happened to the quater system we have been practicing all dis years"
4. The most qualified were not selected in terms of qualifications "abi sey we no get Ph.D and Masters holders who applied for dis jobs"
5. Why would a B.sc graduate who graduated 2015 be considered over a graduate with Masters degree and with a B.Sc certificate dated 2009. "everthing no just understand me anymore"
6. Why would a 3rd class graduate be selected over a masters degree holder, who also applied for the same position. "make dem tell us d technique dem take select dem"

Fellow Nigerians the time to speak up is now. we the youth must wake up and say NO to all this happening at the federal civil service commission. That is why we must all gather ourselves at the federal civil service gate on tuesday 21st of march for a mass protest to show solidarity and say enough-is-enough.
Fellow Nigerians, we must all come out in mass for this protest. Thanks

DATE: 21ST, MARCH 2017
VENUE; COMMISSION GATE, (Assemble point FRSC gate)
TIME: 9am

People with third class are not eligible to work abi? I don't want to insult u but if truly u have a masters, then u obviously bought it. If your sense of reasoning is correct, go back and check the requirements for the job and u will see that third class are not restricted from applying. If a cleaner post is vacant in an organisation, u can as well submit ur masters degree to make u more than qualified for the job.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: FCSC: A Country Where 3rd Class Is Considered Above Msc + Bsc (2.1) by komzy589(m): 12:50am On Mar 18, 2017
neoclassical:
I woke up this morning with the news that FCSC has shortlisted lists of successful candidates in the ongoing recruitment exercise by the Commission in various Federal Ministries.

Succinctly, I have a friend who studied Business Administration with 3rd Class, while I have Msc and Bsc (2.1) all in Economics. Both of us applied for the same position (SGL 09) in the Ministry of Trade & Investment. Perhaps, to my greatest perplexity, this guy's name was shortlisted while mine was conspicuously missing. Just a few minutes ago he opened up to me that the father made "some calls" on his behalf prior to this time.

For your information, we are of the same age bracket, applied for same position, from the same State. So what criteria could have been used to disqualify someone with Msc and Bsc (2.1) and someone with a 3rd Class was selected.

Holding other factors constant, I am so happy for him and I am so expectant that mine is coming. But this has kept me in an awe position, as the whole scenario depicts lack of correlation between merit and success in this entity called Nigeria.

WHAT A COUNTRY? So help us God!
GUY STOP WHINING AND BE HAPPY 4 UR FRIEND. U SAY IT AS IF NIGERIA IS THE ONLY COUNTRY WHERE THIS KINDA THINGS HAPPEN. ITS A NATURAL THING IN THIS WORLD TO PUT THOSE YOU KNOW IN HIGHER PREFERENCE TO THOSE YOU DON'T KNOW.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: FG May Replace Unverified NPOWER Beneficiaries Says Presidency by komzy589(m): 9:32am On Mar 13, 2017
adudu208:
In Delta state most are yet to be paid December and January. Verification was done early December last year but still many who have been cleared are yet to receive a kobo.

Some have even started work and spend close to a thousand daily traveling to their place of posting yet no stipends.

Those who are suppose to be in-charge of this program in Delta are so incompetent and wicked. They have made themselves incommunicado and blatantly refuse to address any issues regarding posting and stipends.

In fact there is no avenue of information dissemination, hence people depend on gossips for updates.

The federal government is encouraged to look into Delta state npower program in general and make sure those thousands yet to be paid are immediately paid to avoid an impending break down of law and order.

I am not a beneficiary but I have relatives who are and the news reaching me is that they are planning to storm Asaba soonest.
Dude, ur relatives did not do the proper verification. I have up to 5 relatives in this scheme and we have all been paid December and January stipend. The verification done at Asaba in December was annulled because most people could not come for it. We were then told to go to our LG of residence to redo the verification. All those that were verified at their LG have been paid.
