Business To Business / Re: Newly Found Shipping Agent For China Importers - Tested And Proven by Konnektions146(m): 6:04pm On Jan 29, 2015
manlawal:

YOU STILL WANT TO USE NONNIKINGS AFTER WETIN YOU DEY HERE , NA OYO YOU DEY OOO.

Wetim him dey hear?

Let us watch how we criticize, every importer in Nigeria even from Dubai, USA, UK had same issue of delays due to our careless airport authorities.

Now, things are stabilizing gradually and every shipping company or freight forwarder would attest to thus no much delays though I expect all these til 2nd week of February .

I use Nonikings and I only have issues only when our custom and nahco mess up..

So who ever wants to should use it.

Please does anyone have the clip where Mbaka endorsed Jonathan?
I need to see it

Moreso, Why has this issue being blown off this way? could it be because GEJ is an Incumbent or he has the money?

Assuming Mbaka was for GEJ, no one would talk,
I have some issues with him taking outright side but even at that, he is Human and as well a Nigerian Citizen who is affected by the Government and who stays at the helm.

I heard some folks say Buhari paid MBAKA, you may check that Mbaka guy well, he has a lot , investments, industries and companies making some decent cash for the upkeep of His ministry and other philantropic gestures.

Please I am not in support of any political party or even any candidate until election day, i would decide.

But Jonathan guys are giving Buhari more popularity with all these.

As other posters above me said/asked,
Change begins with the acceptance that a change is necessary, then an approach to fashion modalities on how to tackle the situation.

Its nice you think well of her but u first need to make get understand she need to change, then u can return for approach as to how to make the changes come.
Politics / Re: FG Announces N213bn Intervention Funds For Electricity Companies by Konnektions146(m): 5:13am On Sep 20, 2014
when will Nigeria wake up?

Approving monies everyday without any remarkable improvement, we as a nation have got a lot of abundant resources to generate electricity but seemingly we are cursed in the way of petroleum, everything now is Gas powered ,
no one is looking at long term per se,

what about renewable energy which we all know is till eternity.

i have see a gas well loose over 50% of its production capacity in less than 2 years, what if somethin like this happens to wells supplying gas to our gas-fired power stations?, we would be plunged into darkness ehn?

it is well

we all know that boko Haram existence is purely politically backed-up .
Its a pity our leaders are so conscience-less that they allow innocent and helpless citizens to perish just for some personal gains.

the top and Nigerian military knows all about Boko Haram and what could be done to end this madness but because of 2015, they choose to allow the situation deteriorate so badly that it could just go out of control even when they are genuinely ready to combat the militant group-BH.

NIgeria is our own, i wish she remains together because there are tendencies that war could erupt in the event of any other seccession /break up attempt but if it goes the way of referendum, kiss Nigeria good Bye

Niigeria, We Haill Thee!

Don't fall for peer pressure, if you are married, less than 15% as a Nigeria banker is OK but if you are not, you can still cut a little down and plan for the future.
The moment of truth comes after you have extra mouth to feed , even if its 1person(wife)

By the way , mine is about a month's pay excluding wifey's salary,
Politics / Re: Confab Is Waste Of Time, Keyamo Insists by Konnektions146(m): 6:34am On Aug 15, 2014
He has a point though, I see this confab as a venture by the government to settle certain individuals and calm nerves due to the increased request for a national conference,

Nigeria has a history of abandonment of panels' report and what would make this work?

A lot of them over there are just there to rest and have a change of their environment after retirement and I think that if the National Assembly is doing their job well enough, this confab wouldn't be here rather clearly controversial issues should be voted in(more like a referendum) to determine implementation.

You need to be passionate about your job than the finances,as we all know, An enterpreneur need to make his business stabilize, gain ground and customer confidence, package his goods and services nicely and in turn the reward(money) would roll in (Money is good but making money your base is doom)

I strongly recoment there for anyone. Goodmorning NL

I really don't know where you are or went in AKWA IBOM but that state is more expensive than the whole south east and west.

I live in Uyo, I stay in a place call Ikot-okubo off Abak road by Federal Secretariat and I pay 300K NGN as rent for a 2-Bedroom flat, Would you say that is cheap?
Comparing Uyo/Eket and Enugu, Enugu is too cheap.

@op,

The first Picture in your post is Uyo (4-lane/Nwaniba Roundabout). and Not Ikot Ekpene

@ikenna,
the colour you see in petrol is just an dye(colouring), to give it a clear cut difference from other products , Gasoline when produced is a bit colourless.
just like the cooking gas, the odour you percieve is just mecapthane added used to give it a smell cos its odourless.

I agree. But the wife said "he will never see his kids again." Now that I don't agree with, it's wicked, and selfish. She has no rights to deny her children access to their father. Unless a court can prove the father is a danger to his children, which doesn't appear to be the case here.

On a different note Blank, how're you and the family doing? It's been a while! smiley

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Shell Tops Jobberman’s List Of 100 Best Companies In Nigeria by Konnektions146(m): 8:22am On Jan 03, 2014
Jarus:

Remember however that it's not by pay alone. the fact that Shell is not the highest may not mean it cannot be the best company to work for in Nigeria. Other factors in their favour can trump pay and rank them first.
yes I totally understand,
now with respect to T&grin, SPDC is good, career growth and all that but they re amongst the least with pay amongst dey IOcs.
I have some knowledge on how oil & gas industry in Nigeria works and as such my objection initially.

Moreso, there are companies on that list that ought not to be there, training and develelopment is almost non-existence an the pay is just appalling.
as well when conducting such survey, I think its better to speak to employers in the specific industry and not just anyone who thinks these guys are good.

this is a very cumbersome kinda survey that core HR professionals like Jarus should make inputs and not a layman

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Shell Tops Jobberman’s List Of 100 Best Companies In Nigeria by Konnektions146(m): 8:36pm On Jan 02, 2014
Jarus:

Jobberman never said Shell is the highest paying. Salary was just one of the factors used. The major issue is, people out there (Nigerians in general, from which the survey space was drawn) wrongly perceive Shell as the highest paying IOC. They are however the best, or one of the best, in terms of training and development, but far from being the highest paying. In fact, they may be the lowest paying IOC. However, people who are not in the industry (who formed the majority of the survey sample) think Shell pays most. Not taking anything away from Shell though.

thanks Boss.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Shell Tops Jobberman’s List Of 100 Best Companies In Nigeria by Konnektions146(m): 8:37am On Jan 02, 2014
hmmmmmm....was that list in order of what? best on top or haphazardly placed?

I could see some 70k graduate pay companies above some good paying companies.

I know Jarus knows better than this but probably wouldn't wanna discredit jobberman.

I am not saying the list is bad but a lot of job need to be done. imagine shell above Total and Mobil...Arik before Seplat..this must be a joke
