I apologise for this late response & hope it's not too late...

IF Tantalizers price could possibly pullback below 1.30, this should be a good buy. However, price may find good support above this level at about 1.40

@Bullbearmkt

Is this a weekly or monthly timeframe chart for Tantalizers you attached here?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Konquest:
BullBearMkt:
I try to breakdown your seamless, simple question into 2 parts for clarity.
1. Likelihood of a pullback in this market.
There is a likelihood that we may experience "a slight" pullback in the market. Looking at the NGX ASI which is being controlled by sectors indexes; for couple of months now, we can see that while some indexes are rising (e.g Oil/Gas), the other are falling (such as Industrial). Recently, there are indications of a possible market rotation: the leading sectors (Oil/Gas and Banking) seem to be pausing, while Consumer Goods and Insurance are rising, and Industrial is trying to find a demand zone. This suggests that a short-term pullback in the market is likely.

2. Can we trust ASI chart in weekly time frame?
Technically, higher timeframes like the weekly chart tend to be more reliable than lower ones, but they all work in fractals. Before you see strength or weakness on weekly, they must have existed on Daily, H4 etc. For now, ASI weekly is not showing strength but the daily is showing that if placed on Monthly/Daily chart review.

As shown on the daily chart below the ASI making higher-high and higher-low, which indicate the readiness of the market to rise, however, with other sectors "dragging feet", we might witness short-term pullback. That in any ways doesn't invalidate weekly data which is yet to show strength as provided on the weekly chart, but we can see buying pressure exerted on the weekly chart.
grin grin grin grin grin
Impressive takes on higher TF and TA.
Do you activetively engage in day trading the NGX ASI or is it purely swing trades?

femisplash:
The Federal Government has announced plans to review the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road project to reduce costs and scale down the lanes from 10 to six.

The Minister of Works, David Umahi, disclosed this during a tour of the highway on Friday. Umahi explained that the review became necessary due to variations in the initial designs and additional interventions, such as evacuation of refuse up to 10 meters deep and backfilling affected areas.

“The Federal Government says the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project will be reviewed from 10 to six lanes and at a lower cost.
“The Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi, made the disclosure during a tour of the highway on Friday.

“Umahi said that the review had become necessary because of variations in designs and interventions such as the evacuation of the refuse of 10 metres depth and backfilling,” the NAN report read in part.

The Minister highlighted ongoing efforts to preserve certain structures along the project corridor, attributing these initiatives to the support and magnanimity of President Bola Tinubu.

He explained that part of the available land would be repurposed to include a service lane for the community. The project review will also address gaps in the initial design, with specific adjustments such as constructing a retaining wall in areas like the Landmark section to ensure stability and durability.

Umahi further stated that the entire 750km stretch of the road would be equipped with solar-powered streetlights, security cameras, and strategic security points, alongside tree planting to enhance environmental protection and aesthetics.

Umahi assured that 20km of the first section of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway would be among other critical road projects scheduled for inauguration by May 29, 2026.

So what kind of hip hop do you listen to

There is no such thing as party rap

LL cool J does more of pop music than hip hop
I'll have to correct an error in your post.

The OG (@nairamaniac) you had the above convo with comes from the old school rap era of the 1980s right into the 1990s (just like me) and he told you CLEARLY that he likes "party rap." It's INCORRECT for you to say "there's no such thing as party rap."

There is indeed PARTY RAP in rap history. INFACT rap music gained momentum in the 1970s through to the 1980s from the party scenes! Party rap just simply refers to the style of "rhymes and poetry" (RAP) laced with beats that keeps the PARTY GROOVE going. This style evolved from the East Coast of the United States and gained ascendancy right from the early 1980s with DJs jamming to the rhymes, poetry, and beats at house parties, clubs, etc.

Saying there's NO "party rap" is just like saying incorrectly that "battle rap" NEVER existed. This isn't correct. As an OG myself, most of the early generation of rap OGs that I started listening to right from the 1980s are now in their 50s, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Kool Moe Dee, ICE-T, etc, and they all featured in different forms of "party raps and battle raps."

However, right BELOW is a link to some of the top 27 rap genres or types of rap and that field of hip hop is still evolving till date right from the 1970s when rap music STARTED off in New York.

A key root cause reason Otedola was not happy with the send-off party for the outgoing MD of first bank is summarized below.

A top employee of the bank informed TheCable that Otedola was “seriously irked” when he learned that a whopping sum was spent on a send-off party for Adesola Adeduntan, the former MD of the bank who was reportedly forced to resign over alleged negligence in a N60 billion electronic fraud.
https://www.thecable.ng/the-insider-turmoil-in-first-bank-as-furious-otedola-wields-the-big-stick-after-lavish-party/?form=MG0AV3

FBN was not having an end year party for staff, but were having a lavish party with an MD allegedly linked with N60 billion fraud and who was forced out because of the financial losses to FBN and its stakeholders (Staff & Shareholders).

While Oando was celebrating a major key milestone in its history. A parry worth the celebration and creation of memories for the new and old staff of the bigger Oando.
A 60 billion NGN e-fraud loss is HUGE! Some level of sobriety should have been displayed during the send-forth party for the former bank MD if this is true. That's part of standard corporate protocol.

Now within few days, grown up adults were stampede to death in Ibo land while begging for ordinary rice. Should we now then mock them back?

Even Peter Obi mocked Ibadan people and had to delete his useless tweet about the event.
Indeed, NOBODY in the Ibadan stampede episode deserved to be mocked by "imbeciles" and "idiots" like that. It was just "poor crowd control" and inefficiencies in logistics that occured in that unfortunate situation.

Standard national safety protocols and pre-selection (or pre-qualification) processes have to be adhered to from now on to prevent stampedes like these.

Deaths from stampedes have ALWAYS occured randomly in Nigeria for decades. It was absolutely WRONG for those "bloody imbeciles" online to begin to taunt the memory of those who lost their lives in Ibadan, Oyo State like that. Then just 2 days later, a similar stampede episode occurs in Okija, Anambra State leading to the loss of lives.

Indeed, a lack of water-tight crowd control and logistics is what triggers these stampede deaths even though the intentions behind the ACT of "genuine gift giving" is noble.

A standard national safety protocol must be adhered to by all organizers of programs such as this from here on out.

I've just watched the video... It's surreal.

The crowd control measures and logistics for organizing these give-aways have to be properly worked out NEXT time. If you're giving out 5000 gifts of rice or cash, then do a pre-selection before the actual day of distribution, so, that there won't be a massive crowd of people ABOVE the total number of bags of rice and cash gifts available. This should have been done in the Ibadan, Oyo State and the Okija, Anambra State stampede cases.

Some of the people in the crowd might even be there to grab their own bags of rice for rebagging and resale thereby defeating the purpose of the noble act of genuine gift giving.

Crowd control is key in any event. Period.

how i pray, SOuth Africa goes this route.. but alas our govt is as soft as baby's bottom
Capital punishment via the death penalty is what I have advocated for years NOW through lethal injections, electrocution through electric chairs, and outright hangings to serve as a STRONG deterrent. The politicians around the world from South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, etc, and most countries of the Western world are RESPONSIBLE for the spikes in drug trafficking because they have abolished the death penalty OR haven't implemented it.

Back in the military goverment of General Muhammed Buhari from 1984 to 1985, I recall that 3 male hard drug traffickers who tried to smuggle hard drugs out through the international airport and got caught were executed by firing squad. After that execution, all drug barons and drug traffickers quickly disappeared! NOT one case of arrests of drug traffickers was made again until a new government came in and relaxed the punishment which was very stupid!

So, South Africa, Nigeria, and other countries have to ALSO CLEARLY introduce the death penalty just like great countries such a Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, etc, all have the ruthless death penalty. Those Asian countries that have death penalties are serious countries because they know the long-term damaging effects of illicit hard drugs on their societies leading to an increase in gun violence, armed robberies, gang rapes, wars, and more.

The several people who where arrested on arrival at the airport every week in Seychelles as of that 2023 ban by Seychelles for being drug barons and drug traffickers are all from the Igbo ethnicity from Anambra State. They were all sponsored by a SINGLE hard drugs cartel of Anambra origin and many are NOW serving jail time in Seychelles. So, it's NOT even accurate to describe ALL the Igbos from the other 4 majority Igbo states in the East of Nigeria as the major drug traffickers or drug baron BECAUSE over 90 percent of all the Igbos (and Nigerians) arrested internationally and in Lagos State, Nigeria (for the illegal toxic methamphetamine production in mini laboratories within their houses in places such as the high-brow Victoria Garden City in the Ajah area of Lagos State, Satellite Town, Ibeju-Lekki, Asaba, Nnewi in Anambra State, etc) are ALL indigenes of specific Igbo communities in Anambra State such as Nnewi, Ozubulu, Ihiala, Obosi, etc, based on intelligence and publicly available data from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). In the Victoria Garden City in Ajah, Lagos State hard drugs and methamphetamine production laboratory criminal bust operation, the Anambra State-born Igbo drug baron by the name of Okenwa Chris Nzewi who was using his dubiously acquired house within the elite estate to manufacture the HIGHLY TOXIC cancer-causing crystal methamphetamine hard drugs got arrested in 2022 and the Federal Government of Nigeria has permanently seized the VGC mansion he was living in. The WORSE part of the whole thing is that the idiotic young drug baron (Okenwa Chris Nzewi) and his greedy criminal gang who produced crystal meth for distribution within Lagos and other Nigeria cities and for export via the international airport by his hard drugs traffickers of Igbo origin had polluted the underground water supply of the elite estate by disposing off the WASTE products of the crystal meth lab production into the ground. Strong orders have been given by the NDLEA to residents of the elite estate NOT to use OR drink water pumped from the underground because the water table has been contaminated with methamphetamine waste which is highly TOXIC due to the FACT that it triggers hallucinations and CANCER.

This case has to do with the illegal sale of over-the-counter medications WITHOUT prescriptions [NOT the sale of the much more dangerous hard drugs such as methamphetamine (meth or ice), cocaine, or heroine, etc].

Unlike what entails in parts of Nigeria where people just randomly walk into the shops of chemists to buy any tablet without a doctor's prescription, YOU can't just walk into any pharmacy to buy medications without getting your doctor or hospital pharmacist to give you prescriptions.
Even in Ghana, it is illegal to buy over-the-counter medications WITHOUT prescriptions!

PoliticsRe: Port Harcourt Refinery Overhaul: Former NNPC GMDs Commend Strides by Konquest:
TimeManager:
Amid ongoing scepticism and criticism surrounding the revamp of the Port Harcourt Refinery, former group managing directors (GMDs) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) have commended the efforts of the current management team, led by Mele Kyari.

After inspecting the refinery during their former NNPC GCEOs Forum in Port Harcourt, the ex-GMDs described the achievement as “magic.”

Speaking on behalf of the group, Dr. Jackson Gaius-Obaseki, who served as GMD from 1999 to 2003, explained that many critics fail to understand the magnitude of work involved.

He clarified that this was not a routine Turnaround Maintenance (TAM) but a full rehabilitation that modernised a plant originally built in 1965 into a state-of-the-art facility by 2024.

“Some of those who criticise do not understand the extent of the work carried out. They mistake it for the usual Turnaround Maintenance. This is a complete rehabilitation—transforming a plant built in 1965 into a modern one in 2024. We appreciate the effort,” Dr. Obaseki stated.

On petroleum pricing, he emphasised that petrol pump prices are influenced by crude oil prices and called for public understanding.
The rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt Refinery has sparked significant criticism due to concerns over its cost, efficiency, and the historical context of Nigeria’s oil sector.

Originally commissioned in 1965, the refinery has suffered from years of neglect, leading to a drastic decline in operational capacity.
The federal government approved a $1.5 billion contract for its rehabilitation in 2021, aiming to restore it to 90 per cent capacity by 2025.

Critics argue that investing such a large sum in rehabilitation may be economically unwise compared to building a new facility. They highlight the persistent issues of corruption, pipeline vandalism, and crude oil theft that have plagued Nigeria’s refineries, raising doubts about the long-term viability of the Port Harcourt facility.

Despite the resumption of operations, skepticism remains regarding the actual output and quality of products being produced.

The refinery’s complex history includes multiple failed attempts at rehabilitation and operational setbacks. As of late 2024, reports indicated that only a fraction of expected production was realised, with allegations suggesting that recently loaded petroleum products were not freshly refined but rather stored from previous years.

This situation reflects broader systemic issues within Nigeria’s oil industry, where state-owned refineries have historically been financial burdens rather than profitable entities.

Supporters of the rehabilitation project argue it could create jobs and reduce fuel prices by decreasing reliance on imported petroleum products.

However, many experts caution that without addressing underlying operational inefficiencies and management issues, the investment may not yield the anticipated benefits. The contrasting views highlight a critical debate about Nigeria’s energy future and the role of state-run enterprises in achieving energy security and economic stability.

Gaius-Obaseki however hailed the achievement as a testament to courage and dedication, urging the GCEO, Mele Kyari, to remain focused on delivering value to Nigerians.

Other former GMDs present at the meeting included Chamberlain Oyibo, Funsho Kupolokun, and Andrew Yakubu, who collectively lauded the success of the project.
https://leadership.ng/port-harcourt-refinery-overhaul-former-nnpc-gmds-commend-strides/
That's really impressive.

Indeed, the military dictatorships especially in the late 1980s right into the 1990s entrenched massive corruption in the downstream oil sector and neglected the Turn-around-maintenance (TAM) of the refineries which are supposed to take place every 2 years! That maintenance neglect led to the damage of all refinery infrastructure and gave the military guys in government and their civilian friends and cronies the opportunity to start importing fuel from abroad and taking Nigerian crude oil abroad for refining and making them into overnight multimillionaires.

This was very prevalent under Sani Abacha whose children ALSO took part in importing contaminated fuel back in the mid to late 1990s before he died in in 1997 (after Sani had stolen over 4 billion USD through the CBN right into his offshore bank accounts).

The younger ones don't know these FACTS of history and this is WHY I keep emphasizing that democracy is FAR better than any military rule where if you openly ask questions for the sake of accountability, the military dictatorships will have you brutally killed (assassinated) or physically brutalized and locked up in jail on trumped up charges without trial.

THREE NIGERIANS MAKE FORBE LIST OF 50 WEALTHIEST BLACK AMERICANS 2024

Only three Yoruba - Nigerians made it to the list Adebayo Ogunlesi, Tope Awotona, and Wemimo Abbey.

Forbes has unveiled its 2024 ForbesBLK 50 list, celebrating the achievements of the wealthiest and most influential Black Americans.

What Forbes said

Adebayo Ogunlesi, with a net worth of $1.7 billion, stands out as a pioneering force in global infrastructure investment. As chairman and co-founder of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), Ogunlesi led the private equity firm through a transformative acquisition by BlackRock in 2024 for $12.5 billion.

Tope Awotona, the founder and CEO of Calendly, has redefined efficiency in scheduling and holds a net worth of $1.4 billion.

Wemimo Abbey, at just 32, is the youngest Nigerian on the list and cofounder of Esusu, an African fintech company addressing financial inclusion. Congratulations to them, This shows that you do not need to do anything illegal to be recognized. It does not come as a surprise that only men from the Yoruba Ethnic group made it to the list.

PoliticsRe: Lagos Fresh Food Agro-Hub Generates ₦‎2.495 Billion In First Year by Konquest: 9:19am On Dec 20, 2024
Lanrelagboi:
The Lagos State Government has reported that the Mushin Fresh Food Agro-Hub generated N2.495 billion in transactions during its first year of operation, facilitated by 348 vendors.

Ms. Abisola Olusanya, the State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food System, shared the figure in a statement issued to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday.

The food hub attracted 75,000 visitors who participated in trading activities during the 81 market days it held for commercial transactions.

Ms. Abisola Olusanya, the State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food System, highlighted that the Mushin Fresh Food Agro-Hub is not just a market, but a catalyst for change in food distribution management in Lagos.

By providing farmers and traders with a reliable platform to sell their produce, the hub has ensured fair pricing, reduced post-harvest losses, and created a more efficient supply chain benefiting everyone from producers to consumers.

Socio-economic growth and community empowerment
Since its establishment, the food hub has been a driving force for socio-economic growth, offering a transparent and organised market to farmers and traders.

“The hub has boosted the livelihoods of vendors and market women, improved food accessibility for Lagosians through fair and affordable pricing, created job opportunities, and contributed to the economic growth of the community,” Olusanya said.

She also emphasized that the hub’s impact extends beyond Mushin, playing a significant role in driving the state’s economic development by bridging the gap between rural producers and urban consumers

“The Mushin Fresh Food Agro-Hub stands as a model of innovation and sustainability, not only for Lagos but for Nigeria and Africa as a whole.”

Expanding food security projects across Lagos
She also highlighted ongoing projects under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration, including the Lagos Logistics Hub in Epe and additional fresh food agro-hubs under construction at strategic locations across the state.

“These projects aim to streamline food supply chains, enhance food security, and create economic opportunities for Lagos’ growing population.”

According to Olusanya, the initiative demonstrates the effectiveness of strategic solutions in addressing systemic challenges, empowering communities, and fostering economic growth.

The commissioner praised the Sanwo-Olu-led administration for its commitment to delivering impactful projects that prioritize food security and economic empowerment for residents.

“The fresh food agro-hub is proof that innovative, community-focused initiatives can reshape economies, improve livelihoods, and create a more secure and prosperous future for everyone involved,” she concluded.

PoliticsRe: Ogoni Oil-Degraded Mangrove Restoration 75% Completed – HYPREP by Konquest: 9:01am On Dec 20, 2024
TimeManager:
The Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project has announced that 75 per cent of the restoration work on 560 hectares of oil-degraded mangroves in Ogoni, Rivers State, has been completed.

HYPREP also reported that shoreline cleanup in the area has reached a 20 per cent completion rate, while the agency prepares to begin a socio-economic study of Ogoni in January 2025.

These updates were shared by HYPREP Project Coordinator, Prof. Nenibarini Zabbey, during a project review meeting with key Ogoni stakeholders in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.

Zabbey emphasised the importance of the meeting, describing it as a platform for stakeholders to reflect on HYPREP’s achievements, address challenges, and strengthen collaborations to sustain progress.

“Permit me to highlight the significant milestones recorded in critical areas of this project,” he said. “Our community-led restoration of 560 hectares of oil-degraded mangroves is now 75 per cent complete. Shoreline cleanup has reached a 20 per cent completion rate, and soil and groundwater remediation at medium-risk, complex sites has made substantial progress.”

Zabbey noted that as remediation efforts advanced, more areas would become available for farming, fishing, and other productive uses, improving food security and livelihoods for the people of Ogoni and neighboring regions dependent on the ecosystem.

He also disclosed that HYPREP was in talks with the African Development Bank to establish an agro-industrial processing hub in Ogoni.

He added, “The construction of the Centre of Excellence for Environmental Restoration has reached 70 per cent completion. This facility will serve as a hub for vocational training, cutting-edge research, and innovative remediation technologies. It will also house a repository of HYPREP’s extensive data and experiences for future reference.”

Regarding clean water access, Zabbey highlighted HYPREP’s commitment to enhancing public health, saying, “We recognise the importance of sustainable access to clean water and are making deliberate efforts to expand these interventions.”

He noted said the agency’s various activities in Ogoni had created over 7,000 direct and ancillary indirect jobs for youths and women in the community.

A unique internship programme for 40 young Ogoni graduates in science and engineering at the Centre of Excellence site, he explained, aims to boost their employability.

Looking ahead, Zabbey revealed that the socio-economic study of Ogoni will begin in January 2025.

“This study will inform the development of a comprehensive blueprint for Ogoni’s socio-economic development,” he said.

This is feels good to know.

But it must be emphasized here that aside from the occasional oil spillages from the oil companies in the onshore fields and shallow waters oil fields, the largest oil spillages came from pipeline vandalisms and oil theft from criminal elements among the indigenes in the Niger Delta especially in the Ijaw areas based off of the statistics I've seen for over 30 years now.

I've been to a lot of countries, and I must say that the cost of living in Switzerland is really high. The average price of a bottle of water here is $5. When I arrived last week, I spent 55 dollars on a pack of bottled water, which didn't even last for a week. I've been here for 9 days now, and I must say that my bank account is really feeling the heat. Everything here is damn expensive. Switzerland is for the rich abeg. Nothing anybody wan tell me. Today, when I went shopping for groceries, I thought I was going to spend not more than 80 dollars, but to my utmost surprise, I ended up spending over 200 dollars on little items. When I was in Norway, Australia and Netherlands, I thought that the cost of living was high (these countries are quite expensive to live in), but this is just on another level. I'm leaving here on Saturday abeg, before my account starts wailing.

Guys, let me use this medium to drop a piece of advice. If anyone is advising you to leave Nigeria, show gratitude to that person, because he/she wants the best for you. I've been touring for 6 months now, and I must confess that Nigeria is a sh*thole. This is actually an understatement. If there was a worse word to use to attribute Nigeria, I'd have used it. Once I'm done with my travels, I'm permanently relocating to a European country. I'm just using this medium to gather my facts first, before making a final decision.

I'm an American citizen by birth, but I've not lived there for 2 straight years; I've been on and off. America is kinda cool, but I've no interest in living there permanently. UK and Canada are for introverted people, in my own opinion. Right now, I'm thinking of maybe Sweden or Germany for permanent relocation. I was forced to learn Deutsch, because I studied in Germany from 2016-2022; before relocating back to Nigeria, to handle my Dad's businesses. I learn languages fast, but it took me 6 months to almost perfectly learn Deutsch language. I now speak English, French, Spanish, Deutsch, Latin, and a little bit of Hebrew. I'll be posting more with time. Merry Christmas in advance guys.

PoliticsRe: FG Approves Sale Of Shell’s $2.4 Billion Onshore Asset To Renaissance by Konquest: 2:13am On Dec 20, 2024
femisplash:
The Federal Government of Nigeria has reportedly approved the sale of onshore assets of the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) to Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, a local oil and gas consortium.

The approval was announced by Renaissance in a statement on Wednesday.

Renaissance stated in the statement that “this approval marks a significant step forward from the announcement of the sale and purchase agreements in January”.

The approval was reportedly given by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Heineken Lokpobiri.

According to Africa Report, Shell’s $5bn investment in the Bonga North project was instrumental in persuading the government to approve the sale of the onshore asset which was initially agreed at $1.3bn.

Backstory

Nairametrics reported that the sale was blocked by the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) in October, even though both SPDC and the Renaissance had reached an agreement in January.

The assets are said to hold an estimated 6.73 billion barrels of oil and condensate, along with 56.27 trillion cubic feet of associated and non-associated gas.

NUPRC’s CEO, Gbenga Komolafe said the commission rejected the deal because it “could not scale (the) regulatory test”

There are also concerns about numerous lawsuits and allegations hanging over Shell Nigeria over human rights abuses and environmental degradation in the Niger Delta region.

NUPRC said that it would only grant approval for the sale if Shell takes responsibility for oil spills and agrees to fund cleanup efforts in the Niger Delta.

sonature1:
Source: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/01/full-contactless-passport-application-home-delivery-to-begin-march-interior-miniThe Ministry of Interior said the Federal Government will begin full contactless passport application processing and home delivery in March.

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, disclosed this in an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday.

He said, “Plans are almost ready for the commencement of full contactless passport applications and the delivery of the same to applicants via courier.

“Starting March 8, Nigerians will no longer have to come to our offices for their biometrics; they can do it from the comfort of their homes and have their passports delivered to them.

“The whole solution is almost ready. We have phase one, phase two, and phase three. This is phase one that we have delivered. Phase two is the one in the diaspora.

“The one in the diaspora will be delivered on February 8. Then phase three is the contactless biometric whereby you don’t even need to go again and that’s March 8.

“I guarantee you that in two months’ time, you sit at home, do your biometrics, fill in your delivery address and we send it to you via courier.”

According to him, Nigerians should hold the ministry to its promises, expressing optimism that passport application in the country will become a much more seamless process soon.

“The Ministry of Interior is poised towards the delivery of every promise that we made,” he maintained.

“With this now, the only thing you need to do there: you have an appointment, you just go there, take your biometrics. No picture and nobody is looking at your documents,” the minister added.
