CrimeRe: EFCC Returns Stolen $180,300, 53 Cars To Canada by Konquest: 6:34am On Sep 08, 2024
Darlingjay1:
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Friday handed over a total of $180,300 and 53 vehicles, fraudulently taken by some Nigerians from Canadian citizens to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Speaking at the signing ceremony for the return of the recovered vehicles and funds, the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Ola Olukoyede, stated that the Canadians were victims of cybercrimes.

He stressed that recovering and returning the assets reinforced the commission’s commitment to fighting financial crimes.

The EFCC Chairman said the event also emphasised the need for countries to collaborate to tackle financial and other forms of crime.

He said, “This is an occasion we are using to demonstrate our commitment to fighting financial crimes and to also collaborate with other countries and agencies around the world. It’s common knowledge that financial crimes have taken a new turn all across the globe.

“It has become a global problem. The people who perpetrate these crimes do so in a way that shows their activities are borderless and barbaric.

“They employ various means to ensure they move across jurisdictions. That’s why it has become very necessary and imperative for us to collaborate with our friends across the world.

“Most countries are collaborating with us in the fight against financial crimes. What you are witnessing today is a demonstration of that reinforced commitment. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police has been collaborating with us.
This collaboration has resulted in many recoveries and the impact of joint operations.”

Olukoyede noted that although the operations spanned several years, they ultimately led to significant recoveries.

He said, “We are here today to witness the handover of assets recovered on behalf of Canadian victims of cybercrime. The operations have taken a couple of years and have resulted in a substantial recovery.”

Olukoyede stated that Nigeria should not be seen as a hub of financial and other crimes, adding that the country does not tolerate criminal activities.

He said, “It is important for us to let our colleagues and friends from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police know that as an agency, the EFCC, and as a country, Nigeria is always ready to fight financial crimes. Nigeria should not necessarily be seen as a hub of financial crimes. It is a transit town, as are Canada and most countries across the world because people move from one jurisdiction to another.

“This is also a demonstration that the Nigerian government will never tolerate any act of financial crime.”

The EFCC Chairman pledged to investigate, prosecute, and recover assets for victims of financial crimes.

He said, “The Nigerian government does not tolerate financial crimes. Not only that, we will pursue, investigate, recover, prosecute, and ensure that victims are restituted. That is what we are doing today.”

Speaking on the recoveries, he said $164,000 was taken from Bogomas Elena, while one Sandra Butler was defrauded of $16,300.

He said, “In total, 53 vehicles were recovered on behalf of the victims. In one instance, $164,000 was taken from Elena, and $16,300 was also recovered. These will be handed over to the Canadian police to return to the victims.”

Providing background on the recovery process, Zonal Director of the Lagos Directorate, Micheal Wetkas, said the Canadian police approached the commission in 2012 regarding stolen vehicles that had gone missing en route from Canada.

He said, “All they provided us with were the vehicle registration numbers. From there, our team quickly traced the vehicles. At one point, we realised the scale of the operation, which was quite large, and it became known as Operation Hot Wheels.

“It was a joint operation between us and Canadian police officers. This collaboration led to the recovery of the 53 vehicles handed over today. Among them, nine were tracked from a vessel transporting them abroad back to Nigeria. That is the brief story behind the operation.”

He said Bogomas’ case was a romance scam reported to the commission.

“An intelligence-led investigation was painstakingly conducted, and investigators discovered that the fraudster had used the proceeds to purchase real estate in Lagos. This property was traced, confiscated, and the assets returned.

“Today, we are celebrating the recovery of $164,000 on behalf of Bogomas. The fraudster has been convicted, and another suspect is still on trial,” he added.

Speaking on behalf of the Canadian Police, Premier Secretary and Deputy High Commissioner of Canada, Robert Aboumitri, commended the EFCC for their efforts.

He said, “This is a testament to your professionalism and commitment to combating crime. I also cannot conclude my remarks without thanking the Government of Nigeria. If I may, Mr Executive Chairman, I’d like to add that we cover multiple countries, and many of them would be envious of the work you are doing here.

“This shows that you are one of the key partners in West Africa in the fight against crime. Thank you very much. We highly value this partnership and would like to elevate it to the highest level possible.”

https://punchng.com/efcc-returns-stolen-180300-53-cars-to-canada/

That's VERY IMPRESSIVE. Some Canadians had suggested that getting those stolen vehicles back would be difficult but this move has significantly shown that it is possible. A lot of these criminals will be taken down and brought to justice wherever they are. Folks have to be careful when buying preowned cars because a significant number of them are stolen from Canada, the U.S., UK, etc, and fraudulently shipped to West Africa with Nigeria being the main hub.

Ghanaian actress and social media influencer, Efia Odo, has revealed some deal-breakers for her in potential romantic partners, as she reveals she cannot be with a man who only lasts 40 mins in bed.

In a recent podcast clip shared on her Instagram, Efia listed two key red flags.

She stated that she cannot tolerate a partner who can’t sustain intimacy for over an hour and a 30-year-old man still living with his parents.

According to the actress, she values independence and personal space.

She also added that in the past she used to be naïve enough to accept men who don’t own a car, but now, men who do not own a car are also red flags to her.

Ladies, can you marry someone who lives in rooms like this? What are your thoughts on building a future together with a man in such a living space?

Men, will you pray to marry a lady in this kind of room or will you wait and hustle more before getting married?
That place looks like a 1-bedroom apartment. Some have gotten married with that kind of setup and upgraded after giving birth to the FIRST child. Some new couples settled for that kind of room and ended up settling into a "financial rut" while living in the same room or place for years. There MUST be NO stagnation in setting a "higher bar" of achievement for yourself in different aspects of your life before and after getting married as long as what you are aiming for is legit. PoliticsRe: Toyin Saraki: More Than Meets The Eye - Nancy Ilochi Pays Tribute by Konquest: 12:33am On Sep 08, 2024
ibibiofirstlady:
Toyin Saraki: More Than Meets the Eye

Cosmopolitan. Graceful. Timeless. These are just a few of the many words often used to describe Her Excellency, Toyin Saraki LLB, LLM, BL. Known to the world as the wife of Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the 13th President of the Nigerian Senate, and as the visionary founder of the Wellbeing Foundation Africa, her public persona is undeniably influential. But as she marks her 60th birthday, there’s so much more beneath the surface of this remarkable woman. Let’s peel back the layers and uncover the lesser-known aspects of her life that truly make her extraordinary.

Timeless Style
Despite her roles as a mother of four and a proud grandmother, Mrs. Saraki defies age with her effortlessly chic sense of style and boundless energy. Always the epitome of elegance, she seamlessly blends traditional Nigerian attire with contemporary flair. Her ageless beauty and vibrant presence make it hard to believe she’s turning 60. But beyond the exquisite wardrobe is a woman who embodies a unique fusion of cultural pride and modern sophistication—a style icon not just in Nigeria, but across the globe.

Royal Roots, Humble Heart
Born into royalty as the only daughter of Prince Otunba Adekunle Ojora and Erelu Ojuolape, the Erelu Oodua of Ife, Mrs. Saraki is a princess of the Ijora Kingdom in Lagos and holds the title of Erelu Bobajiro of Iruland. Her royal lineage, however, isn’t what defines her. It is her commitment to service and her humble approach to life that have shaped the woman she is today.

A Tragedy Turned Into Purpose
Many know Mrs. Saraki for her tireless work in healthcare advocacy, but few are aware of the deeply personal tragedy that ignited her passion. In 1991, during a pregnancy with twins, she suffered from eclampsia, a life-threatening condition that claimed the life of one of her baby girls. The other survived, but only through experimental treatment in England. This heartbreaking loss profoundly changed her. In that moment of pain, Mrs. Saraki made a vow—no mother should ever face such a crisis without proper medical care. From this promise emerged her lifelong mission to improve maternal and child healthcare across Africa.

Her foundation, the Wellbeing Foundation Africa, has been instrumental in improving healthcare for women, newborns, and children, particularly in underserved communities. Through her advocacy, Mrs. Saraki has improved countless lives and garnered recognition for her efforts. She served as the Global Goodwill Ambassador for the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) and now holds the Emeritus title. She is also Special Adviser to the IAG of the WHO’s Regional Office for Africa and was also appointed the inaugural WHO Foundation Global Health Ambassador. In addition to these roles, she has been named a Global Champion for Universal Health Coverage (UHC), Save the Children’s Newborn Health Champion for Nigeria, and a champion for numerous other causes, reflecting her far-reaching impact on global health.

A Woman of Many Gifts
While her public roles speak volumes, Mrs. Saraki’s talents extend well beyond the obvious. An accomplished lawyer with a Masters Degree in Law she’s known for her razor-sharp intellect and near-photographic memory. It is often said that even the sharpest minds would struggle to match her, as she recalls the smallest details from years past with uncanny precision.

The Compassionate Leader
Though she holds a high-profile status, it’s Mrs. Saraki’s warmth and humanity that leave the greatest impression on those who meet her. Her ability to connect with people, to truly listen, has endeared her to so many across Nigeria and beyond. It is this compassion that drives her work, whether advocating for healthcare reforms or simply offering a shoulder to lean on. For Mrs. Saraki, leadership is not about prestige—it’s about people, and her dedication to uplifting others is inspiring.

A Tech-Savvy Grandma
Don’t let her regal poise fool you—Mrs. Saraki is a tech-savvy grandmother who embraces social media with ease, using platforms like Instagram and Twitter to engage with a global audience and amplify the causes she cares about. Through her digital presence, she’s able to reach and inspire a younger generation, proving that her influence extends far beyond traditional platforms. In her, we see a woman who effortlessly bridges the gap between timeless values and modern innovation.

As Her Excellency celebrates her 60th birthday, she remains a symbol of grace and purpose. But beyond the titles and achievements, she’s a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and advocate whose work has touched countless lives. Her journey from personal loss to championing maternal and child healthcare reveals a woman of extraordinary courage and dedication.

Yet, at 60, Mrs. Saraki is far from finished. With her passion still burning brightly, whether advocating for healthcare reform, mentoring young leaders, or breaking new ground in her philanthropic work. Her influence reaches beyond what she has already accomplished—it’s about the future she’s still shaping.

As she continues her work, one can’t help but wonder what remarkable chapter she’ll write next. Whatever it is, it’s certain to leave a lasting impact for generations to come.

Happy birthday, YE.

folake4u:
Hi Konquest.

I'm alright. Trust you're fine as well.

Lol. Everyone's looking to make quick profits these days at the expense of one's health.

And yes, it is better and much healthier to focus on homemade meals. A lot of restaurants these days are cutting corners and it is terrible.

I attended a team bonding event with my colleagues recently and we all went to a popular restaurant at VI. Lol I purged the whole night and was very weak. Thankfully, it was the weekend and I rested a bit.

I have a very sensitive stomach and so I'm careful what goes into my mouth.

It is good to regularly check one's blood sugar, blood pressure while reducing the intake of salt and popping painkillers at every given time. Adding fruits to one's diet is also making a healthy choice. I don't joke with my fruit intake daily.

For my blood sugar/blood pressure, it has ALWAYS been low and normal. So yeah, I'm maintaining it that way.

Hmmm yeah. Kidney failure has been rampant these days. To even get a donor sef na problem. Talk more of the dialysis. I don't think we have much dialysis centres in Nigeria. The procedure is also expensive and beyond reach of the common man.

So everyone has to be on GUARD.

God help us all.
Indeed, I absolute agree with your summations here Folake.

JUST a quick note... With reference to the upset stomach you had, "Septrin" works VERY well for me. Within 30 minutes, I usually gain relief from any bloating that comes from eating very late at night [while at home or at parties] then going to bed almost immediately without giving room for digestion. I learned a few years ago that once it's 9 pm [Max 10 pm] at night, I mustn't eat especially rice [fried rice, party jollof rice, etc] again. Wheat bread taken with avocado or butter, or any other lighter meals like smoothies can still do if I eat late but NOT carbs like rice variants and pounded yam which SMACKED me down in the past due to "oju kokoro." cheesy grin

If Septin is what you also used, then that's fine because it works very fine for me. As I type this, I still have some of the prescription Septin tabs left in my first aid box for any emergencies.

ENJOY the rest of your weekend Folake "onijogbon." *smirk*

Talk to you later.

Yes... Some unfortunate people boil meat with paracetamol tabs. They claim it cooks faster that way.
How's it going Folake?... Thanks for the extra information here. I just did a quick online check and found your claim to be TRUE.
The use of pressure cookers or tenderizers would have done the trick in cooking faster. Why are some people this clueless and unfortunate?

There are two videos right below on the negatives of cooking with paracetamol. Being that my biological mother was a senior medical professional before she retired, I've always known that using multiple pain killers [daily overdoses of Paracetamol tabs under different brand names is a STRONG recipe for kidney failure but I never knew that some people use it to cook].

I think it's BETTER to focus more on home cooking [while thoroughly washing the raw food items] than to eat outside often. This phenomenon of cutting corners when cooking in some restaurants is a global thing which happens in many countries that is based off of the desire to maximize profit. This is where food standardization enforced by food inspectors comes in.

Kidney failure is something I have an aversion for, so, I regularly check my blood sugar and blood pressure while reducing salt and pain killer intake as much as possible because they are ALL precursors of kidney failure. Even with a successful kidney transplant, you have to take drugs for as long as you are alive AND the kidneys usually start failing again after about 10 years from the time of the first ever kidney transplant so there will be a need for another kidney transplant after 10 years. It's just completely stressful so it's better to SIMPLY AVOID kidney failure in the first place.

ENJOY the rest of your day Folake.

FreeStuffsNG:
I hope the naysayers can now see that Nigerian indigenous companies are the real deal!

This little known indigenous company was founded from a humble beginning in 1948 by a farmer/commodity trader in old Western region of Nigeria and today earns a revenue of over $1 billion annually from Nigeria, topping even the multinationals operating in the non-oil exports! Not even Dangote Fertilizer, Indorama, Olam etc could match this indigenous company!

The Founder, Pa(Alhaji) R.A. Adeniji, is a High Chief from Ode Omu, Osun state. Silent multi-billionaire achiever with no noise wink

A single company earns more than 30% of our non-oil exports and it's proudly a Nigerian company!

Nigeria will only bless those who bless Nigeria and curse those who curse Nigeria!

Here is the lesson to those wishing ill luck to the administration of President Bola Tinubu; when you hate, criminally defame and point accusing fingers at an innocent person, the remaining 4 fingers of illwind you wish others are pointing at you! You bless Nigeria, Nigeria will bless you, you curse Nigeria, Nigeria will curse you and your generations and nothing you sow in Nigeria or outside Nigeria will be blessed because the curse will follow you around!

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
That's impressive.

Starlink Global, an indigenous Nigerian company, account for 30.93% of non-oil export earnings

Starlink Global, Dangote Fertilizer lead Nigeria’s $510 million non-oil export in April 2024

Starlink Global, an indigenous Nigerian company, account for 30.93% of non-oil export earnings

Starlink Global, Dangote Fertilizer lead Nigeria’s $510 million non-oil export in April 2024

Nigeria’s non-oil export sector experienced a marginal increase of 2% in earnings, reaching $510 million in April 2024, up from $500 million in March.

This is according to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) April 2024 Monthly Economic Report.

The report read: “Higher commodity prices boosted earnings from nonoil export. Provisional data indicated that non-oil export earnings increased marginally to US$0.51 billion, from US$0.50 billion in March 2024.”

This growth was largely driven by higher commodity prices and the robust performance of key exporters such as Starlink Global and Dangote Fertilizer Ltd, which emerged as the top contributors.

Starlink Global account for 30.93% of non-oil export earnings

Starlink Global, an agricultural produce marketing company exporting cocoa, cashew, sesame seeds, among others, from Nigeria, led the charge.

The company accounted for 30.93% of the total non-oil export earnings, primarily through the export of dairy products.

Dangote Fertilizer followed closely, contributing 23.33% with its urea exports.

Indorama Eleme Fertilizer also made a notable impact, accounting for 17.77% of the earnings from its urea exports, while Outspan Nigeria Ltd added 16.88% through dairy product exports. Metal Recycling Industries Ltd, specializing in aluminum and copper ingots, contributed 11.09% to the total.

The CBN report noted: “Receipts by the top five non-oil exporters rose to US$0.14 billion, from US$0.11 billion in March 2024. Analysis by share showed that Starlink Global and Dangote Fertilizer Ltd were the leading exporters, accounting for 30.93 and 23.33 per cent of the total, from the export of dairy products and urea, respectively.

“Indorama Eleme Fertilizer accounted for 17.77 per cent from urea export. Outspan Nigeria Ltd contributed 16.88 per cent from the export of dairy products, while Metal Recycling Industries Ltd with the export of aluminum and copper ingots constituted 11.09 per cent.”

Vietnam, US top non-oil export destinations
The primary destinations for Nigeria’s non-oil exports included Vietnam, the United States, and the Netherlands, which collectively received a significant share of the country’s exports.

Other notable destinations were Malaysia, India, and Japan. Key commodities that fueled these exports were cocoa beans, cashew nuts, urea, cocoa products, and sesame seeds.

The report read: “Analysis showed that the key destinations of Nigeria’s non-oil export were Vietnam (13.96%), the US (13.87%) and the Netherlands (11.81%). Other notable destinations were Malaysia (7.25%), India (6.44%), and Japan (6.37%). Analysis revealed that the main commodities exported were cocoa bean (19.95%), cashew nuts (18.25%), urea (13.21%), cocoa products (5.34%), and sesame seeds (4.79%).”

What you should know
Nairametrics earlier reported that Nigeria’s non-oil sector exhibited signs of stagnation despite Nigeria’s overall growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2024.

According to the latest GDP report by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) for the second quarter of 2024, the non-oil sector recorded a growth rate of 2.80% in real terms, mirroring the growth rate seen in the first quarter of 2024.

This growth rate is notably lower than the 3.58% recorded in the same quarter of 2023, indicating a slowdown, and raising concerns about the country’s economic diversification efforts.

While the non-oil sector continues to play a pivotal role in Nigeria’s economy, its inability to sustain robust growth amidst fluctuating global oil prices and economic pressures raises concerns about the country’s economic resilience and long-term growth prospects.

FamilyRe: Lagos Drives DNA Testing Surge In Nigeria, 27% Of Paternity Results Negative by Konquest: 1:33am On Sep 06, 2024
FreeStuffsNG:
Lagos leads the way in DNA testing across Nigeria, as 27% of all paternity tests conducted across the country proved negative indicating that in over one in four cases, the man tested was not the biological father.

This is according to the newly released report by Smart DNA titled Smart DNA 2024 report.

The report, which covers the period from June 2023 to June 2024, reveals that the bustling state accounted for a staggering 73.1% of all DNA tests conducted, dwarfing other states like Oyo (5.5%), Ogun (5.3%), Rivers (4.0%), and Delta (3.5%).

This finding highlights the complex realities and doubts surrounding family structures in Nigeria, where DNA testing has become increasingly sought after to resolve paternity issues.

According to the report, 73.0% of tests returned positive results, confirming the biological relationship between the child and the tested father. Lagos particularly on the Mainland recorded 67.5% compared to the Island of 32.5%.

Let us pray for our regions and states to attract people like Aliko Dangote. This is a man who relocated from Kano to Lagos in 1978, and after forty six years, he singlehandedly controls 21% of Lagos State's economy. Yet, he has never claimed that he developed Lagos.

Listening to him yesterday was such a humbling experience. Hr was down to Earth. He did not brag. He shared the spotlight with his staff and let them talk. He then gave kudos to the Lagos State Government, specifically identifying past Governors who helped him become what he is today.

Humility is a trait that some of us need. If we had it, we would not have problems in Lagos, South Africa, Thailand, Kenya and many other places. In truth, those people do not hate Nigerians. Rather, they despise the pride, arrogance, and indifference to the feelings of host communities displayed by some Nigerians.

May God help our brothers and sisters with these traits learn one or two things from Mr. Dangote that will help them develop better relations with their fellow Nigerians and people worldwide.

idealogical:
Lagos, yet another Metro line? Absolutely! The Green Line Metro is here.

Today, we signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) and China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) to bring this ambitious project to life.

The Green Line is a 68km rail line designed to run from the Lekki Free Zone to Marina, connecting with the Blue Line at Marina. This new line will transform our transport landscape, linking key areas like Victoria Island, Lekki, Ajah, and more.

This rail line is projected to carry over 500,000 passengers daily at launch, rising to over a million as demand grows. With the Ministry of Finance Incorporated and CHEC leading the design, financing, and operation, the Green Line will redefine public transport in Lagos.

The Green Line complements our existing rail lines, including the Red Line, which has already begun partial operations. Together, these lines form the backbone of our Strategic Transport Masterplan, designed to create a fast, efficient, and connected Lagos.

Just yesterday, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit Blue Line, which has served an impressive 2 million passengers without significant disruptions. This success shows that Lagos is ready for more - we are ready for the future. In August 2024, the Blue Line increased daily trips from 54 to 72, reducing travel time between Marina and Mile 2 from 30 to 18 minutes.

The impact of these rail lines goes beyond transportation - they are catalysts for economic growth, connecting communities, reducing travel times, and enhancing the quality of life for millions. We are building a city that works.

This is Lagos, and we will continue to lead.
That's an impressive feat coming from Lagos State to develop critical mass transportation in that axis of the state. Some buildings will definitely have to give way as the construction commences. On the other hand, I have issues with these folks who are still doing infrastructural developments in partnership with the Chinese after what happened with that Chinese coy's seizure of some Nigerian assets in order to illegally get a $70 million compensation.

Kudos to Lagos State though for following the development blueprint laid out by the current President of Nigeria when he was the Governor of Lagos State. Continuity is very important for sustainable development as this has led to the seamless commissioning of the Lekki Deep Seaport as of 2023, the Lekki Free Trade Zone in Ibeju-Lekki LGA with the presence of multibillion USD companies in the LFTZ such as the massive Dangote Petrochemical Refinery and Kellogg's just to name a few. More work still needs to be done but Lagos State is already on a sound footing as an international business hub.

Thats why I say gold digging men are more dangerous than gold digging women. Gold digging women want to flex and enjoy themselves with their men's money while gold digging men want to convert all their women's property to theirs, they'll kill her in the process if they have to. See as this one killed a whole human being over a land she bought with her own money, did they forbid him to buy his own land? Even if they contributed money to buy the land, setting her ablaze is now the best way to settle the dispute? I hope he suffers from his injuries before dying a slow painful death
@dominique, I differ with your point to a significant extent based off of global crime patterns at my disposal. It's the basic or upcoming female gold diggers that want to "flex and enjoy with their men's money." Both male and female genders are capable of being very dangerous gold diggers.

Global crime patterns or forensic data that I have analysed over the decades CLEARLY show that the female gold diggers in almost all the continents and with different ethnic profiles can go to ANY extent to gradually (and even rapidly) eliminate the men they are seeing! Cases of the use of proxies to kill the men they are seeing through strangulation or gunshots, or the use of slow poison killers in the food and drinks that eventually lead to serious neurological disorders and death abound. (I have refrained from mentioning those poisons here because I don't want to give anybody any ideas).

Anger management is key here. NEVER date for the medium to long-term men and women who display quick anger issues (or easily get triggered) and argumentative. This will save you a TON of precious time from being dragged into a vortex and even death through this kind of fire incident OR the gradual poisoning of your meals and drinks by either of the gender. Period.

Whoa! It's time to take it slow with the iconic now U.S.-based Jamaican Shabba Ranks and Maxi Priest who is a British-Jamaican. "Your body can't lie to me" was a monster hit back in 1991. I kept on playing it on rotation back then.

When this song came out in 1991, it was big and we grooved to the rhythms of Jamaican dance hall music a lot back then. This song will remain evergreen for me.

Let's get into the rotation.

Devakumar Edwin, the Vice President of Dangote Industries Limited, has announced that the Nigerian National Petroleum Commission (NNPC) will become the sole buyer of products from Dangote Refinery as it begins production.

According to Edwin, the NNPC is prepared to purchase all refinery outputs to meet the nation’s local demand for petroleum products.

“We are currently testing the gasoline, and soon, it will start flowing into the tanks,” Edwin stated. He also noted, “If no one buys it locally, we will export it, just as we’ve been doing with our aviation jet fuel and diesel.”

This development comes amid ongoing financial challenges for the NNPC. Tribune Online previously reported that the NNPC Limited admitted to owing a substantial debt to international oil traders, which has resulted in a fuel supply shortage for local distributors.

Recent reports reveal that the NNPC owes these traders approximately $6 billion in unpaid subsidies, prompting them to halt petrol supplies to the national oil company.

Although the NNPC initially denied these claims, it later acknowledged that its outstanding debts to suppliers have been a major contributor to the ongoing fuel scarcity across the country.

With the NNPC now positioned as the sole buyer of products from Dangote Refinery, this arrangement offers some relief to the national oil company as it continues to navigate its international financial obligations.

The bolded above is impressive. Devakumar Edwin CLEARLY stated that if NO one buys the gasoline locally, Dangote would EXPORT it just as they've been doing with AGO (or aviation fuel). Nigeria through the CBN and Dangote Petrochemical Refinery can then earn FX returns from any excess or unsold stock of gasoline. This is how things were done back in the early 1980s when Nigerian Petrochemical refineries exported refined fuel products to earn FX as well until the military goverments and their cronies from the late 1980s destroyed the refineries through the lack of Turn-Around-Maintenance (TAM) which is supposed to be carried out every two years otherwise the refineries would encounter production problems.

So, it's a fantastic scenario here that would gradually stabilize the Nigerian gasoline distribution space. Then focus can be given to the diffusion of CNG fuel stations and vehicle CNG conversions for commercial vehicles and trucks so that folks in Nigeria can get CNG from refill stations at a much cheaper rate that even gasoline.

Dramatic moment Venezuelan army foils 'amateur' coup attempt led by Green Beret with his two Special Forces buddies - and 'backed by shadowy US billionaires' - as they set out to assassinate President Maduro with '300 hungry, untrained men'

The moment two U.S. former special forces soldiers were arrested in Venezuela was dramatically caught on video as their 'plot to assassinate President Nicolás Maduro' was foiled.

The coup was coordinated by an ex-Green Beret named Jordan Goudreau, 43, who says the objective was to capture Maduro. Goudreau claims to have built a force of 300 men, reportedly backed by US billionaires.

President Maduro called the arrested men 'terrorist mercenaries’ and blamed the attacks on the Trump administration, Venezuela's opposition leader Juan Guaidó and neighboring Colombia, all of which have denied involvement.

Foreign AffairsRe: US Seizes Venezuelan President Maduro’s Plane by Konquest:
ijustdey:
The United States has seized a Falcon 900EX plane belonging to President Nicolás Maduro of Venezuela.

The US claimed the plane was bought illegally for $13million (£9.8m) and smuggled out of the country.

According to the US Justice Department, the aircraft was seized in the Dominican Republic and transferred to the US State of Florida, BBC reports.

The report is however unclear on how and when the plane ended up in the Dominican Republic.

It said however that tracking data showed the plane leaving La Isabela airport near the capital Santo Domingo on Monday, arriving at Fort Lauderdale airport in Florida soon after.

There was no immediate comment from Mr Maduro or the Venezuelan government over the matter.

Officials said the plane was seized for suspected violations of US export control and sanctions laws.

They added that an investigation found that people affiliated with Mr Maduro had allegedly used a Caribbean-based shell company to hide their involvement in the plane’s illegal purchase from a company based in Florida in late 2022 and early 2023.

The aircraft was then illegally exported from the United States to Venezuela through the Caribbean in April 2023.

The argument by US officials that the plane’s sale and export was in violation of US sanctions is unlikely to carry much weight with President Maduro, who has repeatedly accused the US of meddling in his country’s internal affairs.

A spokesperson for the White House national security council said the action represented “an important step to ensure that Maduro continues to feel the consequences from his misgovernance of Venezuela”.

According to US attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Markenzy Lapointe, the Dominican Republic authorities had given the US government “invaluable assistance” in organising the seizure.

“It doesn’t matter how fancy the private jet or how powerful the officials, we will work relentlessly with our partners here and across the globe to identify and return any aircraft illegally smuggled outside of the United States,” said Matthew S Axelrod from the department of commerce, one of the federal agencies involved in the operation to recover the plane.

Data from Flightradar24’s website disclosed that the plane appeared to be flown to the Venezuelan capital Caracas after arriving in Kingston in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in April 2023.

It subsequently flew “almost exclusively to and from a military base in Venezuela”. It is unclear how and when the plane arrived in the Dominican Republic.

US officials however said the jet had been used by Mr Maduro “on visits to other countries”.

The Venezuelan government had in late July announced that it was temporarily suspending commercial flights to both the Dominican Republic and Panama following the controversial re-election of Mr Maduro.

This is not the first time Maduro or Venezuela’s government has been targeted by US federal authorities over alleged corruption.

The US justice department had in 2020 charged Maduro and 14 other Venezuelan officials with narco-terrorism, corruption and drug trafficking, among other charges.

The US department has offered a reward of up to $15m for information leading to Maduro’s arrest or conviction.

https://leadership.ng/us-seizes-venezuelan-president-maduros-plane/
The United States NEVER forgives drug barons and drug crimes committed by international drug trafficking networks. President Maduro of Venezuela had better watch his back with this plane seizure from here on out. In any event justice must be served. If you distribute hard drugs that destroy families and the society, you'll have to pay the price.

I remember watching live scenes on TV back in December of 1989 right into January 1990 when several U.S. military forces invaded Panama to arrest the military dictator and Head-of-State of Panama, General Manuel Antonio Noriega for his involvement in drug trafficking between from Latin America to the U.S.

With heavy rock music blaring from U.S. military vehicles to destabilize him in the building where he was hiding for some days, he eventually surrendered and was taken by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency officials in handcuffs on a plane back to the United States for trial in a court of law. Those were wild moments historically.

The resemblance of mother and son is intensely striking. It's the end of another earthly cycle.

The Yar'Aduas are ORIGINALLY of Niger Republic Tuareg paternal descent (known as Buzu in colloquial terms) for those who don't know. They are NOT of Fulani stock like some erroneously think. The U.S.-based college (Uni) academic, Farooq Kperogi also affirmed this fact in an article he wrote a few years ago.

PoliticsRe: Police Declare Andrew Wynne Wanted Over Attempted Plot To Overthrow Tinubu by Konquest: 8:27pm On Sep 02, 2024
InfoGuru118:
The Nigeria Police have declared wanted a British national, Andrew Wynne accused of attempting to overthrow President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over alleged sponsorship of the EndBadgovernance protests which rocked the country from August 1st to 10th, 2024, News360 Nigeria reports.

According to the Nigerian Police Authority, “Since the commencement of investigations, Andrew Wynne has fled the country. He and one of his local coordinators, one Lucky Ehis Obiyan have accordingly been declared wanted and global hunting for them has commenced in connection with this investigation”.

The above statement was made by the Nigerian Police Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Muyuwa Adejobi on Monday in reaction to the ongoing investigation of the EndBadgovernance protesters.

He said: “Following extensive intelligence gathering and collaboration with other security agencies, nine suspects have been apprehended, who received substantial financial backing from foreign sources to destabilize the country.

“Preliminary findings suggest they orchestrated and funded violent protests, disseminated false information, and engaged in other unlawful activities to create anarchy and justify their illegal plot to overthrow the democratically elected government.

“Investigations have identified a foreign mercenary, Andrew Wynne (also known as Andrew Povich or Drew Povey), a British national, who built a network of sleeper cells to topple the government and plunge the nation into chaos.

“He rented a space at Labour House, Abuja, for an ‘Iva Valley Bookshop’ and established ‘STARS of Nations Schools’ as a cover for his subversive activities.

“Documentary evidence and confessions revealed that Andrew Wynne issued directives, monitored progress, and provided finance and operational guidance to achieve unconstitutional regime change in Nigeria.

“He mobilized and deployed several billions of naira to his Nigerian collaborators, urging them to mobilize the public to violently storm police facilities and military barracks, anticipating a bloodbath that would instigate international condemnation of the Nigerian government.

“These acts are in clear violation of the Terrorism (Prevention) Act 2011 and other relevant laws.

“Since the commencement of investigations, Andrew Wynne has fled the country. He and one of his local coordinators, one Lucky Ehis Obiyan have accordingly been declared wanted and global hunting for them has commenced in connection with this investigation.

“The ten other suspects already apprehended have been arraigned before a competent court of law on Monday, September 2, 2024, for Criminal Conspiracy, Terrorism Financing, Treasonable Felony, Subversion, and Cybercrime.

“They include; Angel Love Innocent (Female), Opaluwa Eleojo Simeon, Michael Tobitoba Adaramoye aka Leni, Suleiman Yakubu, Buhari Lawal, Mosiu Sadiq, Abayomi Adeyemi, Abdulsalam Zubairu (M), Nuradeen Hamis, and Bashir Bello.

“These acts are in clear violation of the Terrorism (Prevention) Act 2011 and other relevant laws

“Meanwhile, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, while condemning the activities of the group, has since activated the INTERPOL tools and other global policing networks to support ongoing domestic investigations aimed at locating and apprehending the suspects at large.

“The IGP assures the general public that the Force will leave no stone unturned in dealing with and bringing to deserved justice, any individual or group threatening our national security and peace or promoting any movement with the motive of truncating our democratic government through unconstitutional means.

“We recognize and remain committed to protecting citizens’ constitutionally guaranteed fundamental and democratic rights to peaceful assembly and free expression.

“However, we advise citizens to be wary of subversive elements who weaponize and commercialize protests for personal financial and ideological benefits”.

I thought this was exclusive to only the Evil Russians .

This guy is a generational spree.

Andrew Wynne is the son of MI6 agent Greville Wynne who was arrested by the KGB in 1962 for spying and sentenced to 8ys behind bars.

The senior Wynne was released after only 2ys in a spy exchange deal.

If you know how MI6 and other western spy networks operate , you will know they recruit from certain close circles like the Cambridge 6 spy ring and also from relatives of former spies or even from secret societies like Skulls and Bones (an ultra secret IVY College fraternity which is where most CIA top spies and executives are recruited from), Cambridge university MI6 and even from Freemasons.

The Anglosphere alongside their Zionist partners are in desperate need for global conflict world wide. This is because this is only how they know how to remain at the top. It's also in tandem with the globalist agenda to promote conflict and wars.

You are very sound. Indeed I have been aware of the Khazars since the late 1990s and they are folks from the Caucasus region who converted to Judaism. In resent history, I did read that DNA ancestry tests of Jewish-Americans or Ashkenazis showed traces of Khazar genetic markers which confirms the fact that they are NOT purely of Jewish descent, just converts to Judaism centuries back in the Caucasus region.

Dozie won't have been able to float his fraudulent venture on the floor of the US NASDAQ if not for a clean bill of health written by Deloitte, Israel.

The guy who exposed all this fraud placed a "short" on Tingo after doing his own due diligence on the company.

A "short" is a form of bet that a company's stock will crash.

The guy who placed the short carried out a very well detailed audit of Tingo even down to visiting Lagos HQ of the company and he even went to Israel Deloitte office to inspect the audit only to find out it was all a fraud in the making

The big story here isn't the Dozie himself but firms like Deloitte Israel that have now been exposed in providing dubious financial statements and audits of company assets and liabilities.

Deloitte Israel will surely be sued and all their audit reports duly scrutinised.

What most people don't know here is that Israel is the global capital of all forms of financial and cyber fraud.

Israeli scammers accounted for the highest Covid 19 relief funds stolen in the US.

Their media however made it look like it was mostly from Nigeria while the truth is that billions were traced to Israeli scammers. Even the Indian call centre scammers have been linked to Israeli scammers.

But the most annoying thing is that the Israeli govt hardly does anything to apprehend identified scammers . The Israeli govt doesn't even have an extradition treaty with any country in the world including their best ally the US so much so that Israel has become the number 1 destination for Jewish fugitives of the law from across the planet. Israel has the highest density of wanted and known sex offenders, human traffickers, organ harvesters, swindlers ,murderers, mafioso figures, gun runners, drug kingpins and even wanted spies whom the Israeli govt gives complete blanket protection and immunity from extradition. Jeffrey Epstein isn't dead rather his supposed murder was all staged and he is cooling off in a villa in Israel. Epstein's co blackmailer , Ghislaine Maxwell's late dad was a known Mossad spy and blackmailer who after his death was given the highest national award and a befitting state burial. The convicted spy Jonathan Pollard - whom Trump pardoned and had released from Supermax ADX Florence were he was serving a life sentence without possibility of parole (there is no early release or parole in the federal justice system), was received on arrival in Israel by highly placed state officials. He is now living peacefully in an illegal Jewish settlement .

In summary, Dozie's criminal ventures won't have been possible without active support from Deloitte Israel and other highly placed powerful Jewish mafioso in both the US and Israel. The only thing that saved would be investors was the man (Hinderburg) who placed a shot on Tingo and followed it up by doing his own research on the fraudulent establishment.

The question to ask is: what was Tingo being fronted for? Of course it was a scam outfit but such obvious fronts are used to launder money for other projects and most notably to funnel funds to terrorist activities.

It's my opinion that Tingo was supposed to be used to further finance terrorism and other state destabilising operations. This is how Mossad and the CIA operate using shaddy companies to both raise and launder funds to finance their black ops.
That's very insightful!

It must be some members of the Russian-Jewish community that are involved in those frauds in Israel. They also run the hard drugs mafia in between Russian and Israel.

The credit rating agencies in the United States too were partly responsible for the 2008 global financial crisis because they had earlier given a clean bill of health to the major banks and companies that finally went bust
