CelebritiesRe: Lagos Police Interrogate Pastor Adefarasin Over ‘Gun-Like’ Object by Konquest: 2:30am On Jun 18, 2025
ThroneNGamez:

“You might be aware of a video circulating on social media showing me in what some have misunderstood as brandishing a firearm. I want to assure you that was certainly not a firearm, and at no point did I point such at anyone,” he stated.

In the latest development, the Command confirmed that Adefarasin was being interrogated over the video.

The Command Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, said, “No one is above the law. Pastor Paul Adefarasin has turned himself in at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja, and he’s currently being interrogated by detectives who have commenced investigation on the case since a video surfaced online showing the pastor holding a gun-like object against another road user, while driving in an unregistered vehicle.

It's just a stun gun or a taser which is in order as long as he has a legal permit to use it.

In the 1980s war of Soviet against Afghanistan, US trained Osama Bin Laden as an agent used against Soviet Union.

Do you Blame US for September 11, 2001 bombing of World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York or you blame Bin Laden?

US Invaded Iraq on a lie that Saddam Hussein was developing weapons of Mass destruction. Tony Blair of UK (the then UK Prime Minister and US lap dog), confessed in his book they only used the lie to go ahead to hang Saddam.

Iraq became a Lawless state and a home for Islamic State (ISIL). Who do you blame for ISIL and a directionless Iraq after US removed Saddam Hussein? Do you blame Saddam Hussein for ISIL or ISIS?

US Invaded LIBYA for reason unknown to dethrone the best President to his people in the whole of Africa (Muammar Qaddafi). Obama was the African blood used to do the hatchet job. UK (US lap dog) was there as the usual co-conspirator.

After Killing Qaddafi, Libya became a lawless state where weapons were selling on the streets. Today, US weapons are all over Sahara States and environs in the hands of various terrorists organisations ( Boko Haram, ISWAP, Others in Sudan, South Sudan, CAR etc.
Do you blame for lawlessness in Libya and proliferations of weapons in Sub-saharan Africa on Qaddafi or US who stopped the great leadership he was providing his people?

Do you know that the same group US equipped in Afghanistan in the early 80s metamorphosed into same Taliban that chased them out of their country 20 years after occupation?

Iran fit don go because of US, not Israel.

Hope you won't buy the lies that US want to save the world when Taliban or ISIS occupied and became a strong force again to face them.
Hope you won't buy the lie when those they happily equipped used the weapons against them.

Behind all the evils in our world, US and the whole west contributed to those evil more than any other nations.

Only students of History knows enough to be liberated from the western lies.
All what you wrote is largely true as I was old enough during all those events you listed sequentially above right from the 1980s Afghanistan War when the Soviet Union moved in to attack and the United States was using the Cold War to support the Afghans and others who came to fight on behalf of the Afghans. Predictable historical sequence of events.

Before Biafran troops ever entered the Midwest on a rescue mission, thousands of Igbo civilians were already being butchered across the North and in parts of the South.....hunted, dismembered, set on fire in broad daylight.

Pregnant women had their wombs slashed open. Children’s skulls were smashed against walls. The world looked away, Nigeria stood by.

That was the seed of the war.

You say we’re playing victim — but how do you "play" a victim when 3 million of your people were starved, bombed and left to rot by the very country they once called home?
How do you “pretend” to mourn your dead when every family in Igboland still carries the wound of that war in their bloodline?

You say people in parts of the South-South celebrate the defeat of Biafra that may be true for some and they have the right to their memories. But it is also true that many others in those same regions fought for Biafra, died for Biafra and were buried with Igbo names on their lips.

Entire communities in the South-South are Igbo by blood ties, language and culture.
You can celebrate your liberation but don't erase those who bled with us, stood with us and still call us brothers to this day.

Being Igbo is not a crime. We don’t beg for space. We earn it. We build wherever we go, not to conquer but because we believe in life, in growth, in legacy. The soil does not reject those who plant in it only bitter men do.
The Igbo remain to this day the only major ethnic group in Nigeria that is surrounded by minorities that are not Igbos....this simply show that either Igbos lack the capacity to conquer them and take over their lands or the Igbos are not interested in doing so.

We remember everything.
The wrongs we suffered. But one thing is certain: Igbo people will not apologize for surviving, we will not bend to accept domination.

And we will never be made to feel like strangers in a land where our ancestors walked, bled and died
I have to come in right here to correct some historical revisionism in your post so that younger ones are NOT misled.

First off, the official total figure of those who died (civilians and military combatants on both sides) in the exactly 2 years and 6 months OR 30 months Nigerian Civil War was NOT more than 1.5 million!
This includes credible figures from the United Nations agencies and other relief organizations that got involved in providing relief materials to refugee camps in areas that had been liberated by Nigerian Federal troops. This bogus, inflated or padded figure of deaths by ipob and other propaganda Websites ONLY started appearing online after the year 2000 due to the influence of the Internet. I know all these because as far back as 1981, I have been reading and collecting books on the Nigerian Civil War indicating the events before, during and after the war when Ojukwu finally fled Nigeria through the Uli airstrip with his family and close associates while telling people through the propaganda radio that he was going to get more weapons Meanwhile he cowardly ran off (leaving Philip Effiong behind to surrender to Federal troops led by Olusegun Obasanjo of the 3rd Marine Commando otherwise officially called the 3rdDivision of the Nigerian Army and others) to Cote d'Ivoire looking VERY chubby and well fed along with his immediate family. Before Emeka Ojukwu started the war by declaring the secession speech on May 30, 1967 forcibly and without any referendum while Illegally taking the other ethnic minorities of the Old Eastern region, Ijaws, Annang, Ibibio, Ogoni, Ejagbam, Efik, Efut, Kwa, etc, who were half of the total population, and NEVER wanted to be under any secessionist agenda. Ojukwu even ordered in April 1967 the hijacking of two Nigeria Airways and Ghana Airways planes and forced them to stay in Enugu while later improvising by turning them into bombers with bombs being thrown out manually and one of them was shot over Lagos on its way to bomb specific locations in the newly created Lagos State. Those hijackings were already a war declaration on Nigeria.

Second, while it's inappropriate to minimize the sufferings the folks from the Ibos East of River Niger faced, the Ibos are NOT totally blameless due to the historical facts that the January 1966 Coup which was initially supposed to be a nationalistic one was hijacked by a majority (over 95%) Ibo-dominated group of couples plotters and all the officers who opened gun fire on the military and political leaders of the Old Northern Region, Western Region, and Mid-West Region leaving anybody from the Old Eastern region largely untouched.

To make matters worse, some Ibos in the North of all places where taunting the Northerners openly after the assassination of Tafawa Balewa and the Sardauna of Sokoto alongside the most-senior Northern and Middle Belt officers. Ibrahim Babangida in his recent book (and many Northern and Southern military officers whose books I have read on the Civil War since 1980/1981) also talked about these public tauntings of Northerners. This is why Aguiyi Ironsi who took over from the coup plotters and declined to hand over to the next politician in hierarchy to take charge of Nigeria had to promulgate a decree banning the use of "slander and tauntings of any kind through publications OR music broadcasts by some of his Ibo kinsmen which was very irresponsible for endangering the lives of innocent Ibo people who just wanted to go about peacefully in a conservative society such as the North and that FINALLY triggered the massive anger and attacks on Ibos in the Northern region. The same negative thing (overbearing character) is still being done by a large number of younger Ibos especially online as of today who openly taunt others via cyber bullying, fabrication and deliberate spread of massive disinformation through paid ipob troll farms located in Nigeria to Europe, North America, South Africa, etc, that the 'BBC Global Disinformation Team" investigative video of 2022 exposed for deliverately triggering ethnic tensions in order to cause ethnic wars to split Nigeria up.

About 10 years ago a friend on mine to a sabbatical to attend a course in a university in the UK.

By the time she returned to Nigeria about 18 months later she had developed a gap in between her top front teeth which she had never had in the over 20 years
I have known her.

Hers was caused by the cold weather
I've known full well since the 1990s from reading advanced science books backed by more Internet-based information that "cold and hot temperature" conditions like those you find in water usually cause the teeth to expand and contract while leaving microscopic cracks in the teeth.

However, I doubt if this cold weather you referenced can lead to something as prominent as a "gap tooth" which is usually present at birth and then is done artificially by some tribes called the "gap tooth tribes."

It would be interesting if hers truly was triggered by the cold weather in just 18 months of being in the United Kingdom for studies OR just an oral/gum disintegration due to a lack of Vitamin C intake, etc.

Indeed, Lakowe Lakes Golf and Country Estate is one of the BEST ever estates of global standards right in Lagos State. The Ayi Mensah Park in Accra is just like Lakowe in terms of attention to details and construction of houses built to fit into the natural vegetation of the area instead of cutting the vegetations and trees off with bulldozers like they often do in Nigeria. Just concrete jungles are left WITHOUT green vegetation.

Still Renting in Lagos? Here Are Fast-Developing Areas in Lekki You Can Still Afford to Buy House

There are still developing areas in Lekki where smart buyers can enter early and become landlords tomorrow.
These areas may not have “Ikoyi” status yet—but trust me, they are the next big thing:

1. Sangotedo
Just after Ajah, filled with estates, schools & shopping malls (Novare Mall is right there).
You can still find houses & land here at prices that make sense.

2. Lakowe
Known for Lakowe Lakes Golf Resort, but the whole axis is growing fast.
Perfect spot for rental properties & weekend homes.

3. Awoyaya
Quiet now, but give it 2–3 years, and it’ll be the new hotspot.
Good road network, proximity to major estates, and schools.

4. Abijo GRA
Government Reserved Area. That says a lot.
Good title land still selling here, and it’s just before Sangotedo.

5. Eleko & Alaro City Axis
This is where long-term investors are looking.
Dangote Refinery, Lekki Deep Sea Port, and Alaro City are bringing serious development.

If you want to become a landlord in Lagos—don’t wait till Lekki Phase 1 prices hit these areas.

We’ve got access to legit, titled properties in these areas.
No pressure. Just smart property advice that helps you move from tenant to landlord.

It's BETTER the suspension kicked in for proper long-term industrial planning of Lagos State (especially tech-based industries similar to the Silicon Valley) and maybe the construction of just a few well-planned estates similar to the "Lakowe Lakes Golf & Country Estate" for high-networth folks or estates for the staff of those future industries.

So who will arm the community? Arm them with what? Dane gums, spears & cutlasses? When those herdsmen carry AK47 and ARPG's.

This is not good for a country like Nigeria, it shows we are incapable. Just like contracting out the securing of pipelines we are now telling communities to protect themselves, this just shows govt has failed to protect lives and property.
NOT Dane guns as that would lead to a total annihilation by the bandits especially around the border areas who are reported to even use Armoured Personel vehicles (APCs) got from the black market in those neighboring Sahelian countries. They too will equally be armed with AK-47s, RPGs and more to balance the terror equation as suggested by Babajide Kolade-Otitoju of TVCs Journalists Hangout. If I can find that deeply insightful video on YouTube when I have the time, I'll post the link for you here. Or you can head over to the TVC YouTube channel and search for it under Journalists Hangout. That guy simply blew my mind with his cutting-edge security analyses in that episode of JH.

Last but NOT least, this is a FIRST line of defense before the FULL complement of the elite police squads and military move into a crisis-riden area to backup the communities. The end game would be to get surveillance and attack drones including advanced satellite tracking systems to tackle this insidious bandits from the Sahelian countries invading Nigeria through the porous Northern borders. Period.
PoliticsRe: CDS Musa Pushes Community Self-protection To End Benue Killings by Konquest: 8:23pm On Jun 17, 2025
Antoeni:
The Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, has pushed forward the training of credible youths across Benue State as vigilantes working under the supervision of the military, as was done in Borno State, to defend local communities against terrorist attacks.

The CDS stated this call at a meeting with traditional rulers in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, on Tuesday.

He urged the traditional rulers to put a check on any criminal elements within their domains as he will not tolerate any act of sabotage while working to ensure the protection of Benue communities.

Meanwhile, the Nasarawa State govenror, Abdullahi Sule, visited his brother governor Hyacinth Alia to commiserate with the people of Benue over Yelewata attacks.

Sule urged both states to close ranks and nip the killings in the bud, as he announced the donation of ₦150 million to support Benue internally displaced persons.

The defense chief who has been in the state since Monday had said the military would change strategy to combat the acts of terror.

Benue, a food-producing state in Nigeria’s North-Central zone, has been under heavy attacks by suspected herdsmen for some time. The killings have lingered for years, with some linking it to inter-communal conflicts as well as the quest for land dominance between the autochthonous agrarian dwellers and nomadic cattle rearers.

However, the killings in the last few weeks have been without a break. At least over 160 residents were confirmed killed in a series of attacks by suspected herdsmen who wreaked havoc in different communities in the state within two months.

Last Friday, at least 59 residents of the Yelewata area in the state were killed and over 3000 persons displaced during an overnight attack by suspected herdsmen.

The killings in Benue have attracted national outrage and global attention from Pope Leo XIV who condemned the “terrible massacre” and called for an end to it.

On Sunday, President Bola Tinubu charged Governor Hyacinth Alia with convening reconciliation meetings and dialogue among the warring parties to end the incessant bloodshed and bring lasting peace and harmonious coexistence between farmers, herders, and communities.

Billed to visit the troubled state on Wednesday, the President also ordered the service chiefs including CDS Musa to immediately end the killings of innocent citizens.

On Monday, CDS Musa and the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun toured the troubled scenes and ordered field commanders from neighbouring Nasarawa State to review their operational strategies and deal decisively with any act of terrorism in the state.

“We are tired of innocent souls being killed, and we’re here to ensure that we address such. I’ll be going to see my commanders and we have to change our strategy.

“We’re going to look inward and see how we can address it, but as we mentioned, we cannot do it alone without the community, without the state.

“We need everybody to be part of it. We understand that even before now we used to have even within us people that compromise and give information because going around, you see the way some of the burnings were made, were targeted and which means they were insiders and so, I’ve discussed with the communities, the traditional rulers, with the clergy for us to work united,” CSD Musa had said.

That's absolutely spot on.

This is EXACTLY the same advice the veteran journalist and co-anchor of the famous "Journalists Hangout" on TVC, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju gave last month or so where he emphasized on creating a civilian JTF kind of armed vigilance groups in each state where these insecurities from foreign Fulani militias and bandits exist to ward them off. The video can be seen on the YouTube channel of TVC. The Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) must have been listening to that program and it's brilliant when those in the military hierarchy and government listen attentively to the advice of elite groups of responsible investigative journalists and media personalities just like Babajide and the late Rotimi Sankore who unfortunately passed on in 2024

President 'Bola Tinubu is fortunate to have brilliant minds working for his various organizations and he MUST listen more to the deep insights of Babajide (who is a great security analyst and very sound on historical, political and economic matters if he wants to succeed). I know this because I'm very well-read on historical and geopolitical events worldwide too so I can easily point out if someone is parading himself or herself as an expert meanwhile he or she is a complete FRAUD!

Babajide used to work with another major investigative magazine "TheNEWS" which I loved reading back in the day and which gave the highly corrupt military dictators of the 1990s sleepless nights with their brand of guerilla journalism.

majority of the slaves taken ended up in brazil. When the oyo empire fell in the 1830s-1840s. Dahomey and the fulanis enslaved many Yorubas and sold them into slavery. Shortly after slavery was abolished. So many of them were able to hold onto their Yorubas culture and identity
Just to give some insights into what you posted right ABOVE because I have vast historical knowledge gathered for decades now of the trans-Atlantic deportations and enslavement history of Yoruba folks who ended up (due to the successful Haitian revolution) in Brazil (Brazil received the highest number of Yorubas of over 250,000), Cuba (Cuba is second with an estimated 250,000 Yorubas), Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, parts of the United States such as South Carolina (the Egba-born patriarch of the popular Vaughan family of Abeokuta and Ebute-Meta was deported to South Carolina but did NOT make it back to Yorubaland. ONLY his two brave sons did through Liberia) and Louisiana, Puerto Rico, Haiti, etc.

While it's true that Dahomey which was part of the Oyo Empire and some Fulani jihadists took Yorubas as war captives on the extreme frontiers of the Yoruba country bordering Dahomey such as Ketu Kingdom and the Yoruba-speaking parts of Benin Republic, Oke Odan in Ogun State (and even attacked Abeokuta BUT were heavily defeated with stronger firepower). Then the so-called Fulani jihadists attacked the vulnerable frontiers of the Ilorin and Northern Oyo areas for war captives (with a perfect example being Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther who was a respected linguist and Anglican church clergyman, and direct descendant of Alaafin of Oyo Empire through his maternal line), the major Yoruba kingdoms themselves went into a painful fratricidal Civil War lasting for decades and war captives were taken and deported on slave schooners to Lagos Island, Badagry, and Whydah (used majorly by Dahomey). So, because of the Civil Wars going on in the Yoruba country, it made it easy for Dahomey and the Fulanis (with some of their fanatical Yoruba Muslim collaborators of Ilorin) to attack the frontiers of Yorubaland right up to Osogbo where the Ibadan Army and one other nearby Yoruba kingdom in Osun State bravely defeated the invaders in 1840 at the famous "Battle of Osogbo," and then at the historically famous "Battle of Otun-Ekiti" otherwise a united Yorubaland without a distracting Civil War would have massively defeated the foreign Fulani invaders and chased them right inside and out of Sokoto (and the Dahomeys too) especially if you read the advanced history books on how the Ibadan Army was well-armed with sophisticated weapons of that era that were purchased from the Whites and the Lagos rulers on Eko Island (Lagos). Ekiti-Parapo Movement was ALSO formed on Lagos Island in the 1870s and got their weapons including war cannons from Eko to prosecute their Kiriji War with the Ibadan forces which had started to build a powerful "Ibadan Empire" incorporating Ijesaland, Ekitiland and more after the movement of the Oyo Empire's capital from Oyo Ile to the current location of Oyo Town of today. The Yoruba Civil Wars were painfully a major source of enslaved Yoruba people who came from royal families, noble lineages, and non-royals. That's the hard truth. Reading the iconic book by Reverend Samuel Johnson (who is ALSO a direct descendant of Alaafin Abiodun and a cousin of Bishop Samuel Ajayi with both of them being liberated in Sierra Leone), it CLEARLY shows the importance of effective communication, listening and tolerance. If these had been followed in the late 1700s right into the 1800s, Yorubas would NOT have had those internecine wars leading to Yoruba folks being captured on all sides by combatants from Oyo, Ibadan, Ijaiye, Ijebu, etc, and deported to Brazil, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, and more. It's a great thing that many of them came back to Africa and even became very wealthy businessmen called African Merchant princes who sent their children to school in British Universities such as Oxford and Cambridge before 1900! May that kind of internecine Yoruba wars due to the power and economic positioning by some of the kingdoms of the 1800s NEVER happen again.

It's NOT a bad idea that multiple construction technologies are being used in the construction of this road. This is a perfect example of the Federal government in Nigeria through Umahi working on reconstruction of existing roads contrary to the insidious attacks from those highly irresponsible paid ipob troll farms (which the "BBC Global Disinformation Team investigative video of 2022 EXPOSED for deliberately fabricating and spreading massive disinformation and ethnic tensions online using multiple online platforms to trigger ethnic wars in Nigeria) on Umahi and the Lagos-Calabar Highway project.

That's a good one right there and more should be worked on such as the existing highway linking Lagos State from the Ikeja axis directly to Abeokuta in Ogun State which hasn't been completed since OBJ left the Presidency and Yar' Adua didn't approve the continuation of the project because he fell Ill and later passed on. ONLY President Buhari continued it but Fashola didn't get the chance to finish up. I hope Umahi will be the one to complete that road with the final construction of drainage systems which Fashola started already to minimize flooding which damages the highways at specific points.

What is the Oni of ife doing there,is there part of his kingdom

Can spilled milk be recovered, these are lost slaves
A strong point of correction for you. They are NOT slaves but freeborns through their ancestors right from the late 1800s. That's totally disrespectful to call them slaves right in 2025. Some of those Yorubas taken away to Brazil were even from royal families and fortunately some of them bravely returned to Yorubaland from Brazil, the United States, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and Sierra Leone after gaining their freedom. The Vaughan family were of Egba royalty and 2 sons of the original Egba Prince and patriarch taken away in the early 1800s from Yorubaland BUT died in the United States returned from South Carolina in the United States via Liberia to Lagos Island, then Abeokuta, before resettling in Ebute-Meta in Lagos State and became very wealthy people and part of the educated Yoruba Lagos elite before 1900.

Many of the Afro-Brazilians still know their various ancestries through oral and written traditions in that same Brazil from Yorubaland (or Angola and Congo where most Afro-Brazilian came from). Some of the adherents of the Yoruba religion are NOT even of Yoruba descent but are pure White Brazilians of Portuguese origins. Same thing in Cuba and Venezuela where the Yoruba culture and religion are ALSO strong and these folks visit Nigeria or specifically Ile Ife and Osun-Osogbo Festival annually on pilgrimage and the Ooni of Ife approved recently the construction of the biggest ever pilgrimage point and temple for the adherents of the Yoruba religion worldwide in Ile Ife.

Indeed, Salvador is the epicenter of Yoruba culture, language and religion in Brazil spreading right into Venezuela and nearby Latin American countries.

The internationally popular fried beans paste delicacy called "Akara" in Yoruba language (meaning to "count and buy" after frying in oil) was made famous in Brazil by the Yoruba deportees on schooners to Brazil from the late 1800s due to the unfortunate trans-Atlantic slave trade from where it further spread out into Latin American countries.

Members of royal families in Yorubaland from Egba, Oyo, Ijesa, Ekiti, Ijebu, and more were ALSO victims of the trans-Atlantic slave trade as seen from advanced archival materials where some of the famous Alaafin Abiodun of the Oyo Empire's descendants were taken as war captives and deported to Salvador in Bahia State and other parts of the Americas in the 1800s. Alaafin Abiodun (who was the emperor of the Oyo Empire stretching from modern Nigeria to Benin Republic and Togo) reigned in the late 1700s.

Ttalk:
That is the complexity of the whole issue and you see that a bold president will still rely on a formidable home front to push genuine reform in a complex country such as Nigeria.

This is where the issue of Igbo as a region comes in. ( apologies to a progressive Igbo who do not share the same mindset with indoctrinated ones who is ready to cut their nose to spite their face)

To push reforms like this, the president needs one voice from the entire South for it to work. However, we have seen that the SE have always been antithetical to federalism and resource control despite the fact that many of them pay lip service to it.

While Rivers state and Lagos state challenge the FG over vat matter same Igbo are the only region from the South who support the north.

Again, we saw notable Igbo moniker here on Nairaland who vehemently opposed the tax bill reform. Yet a ranking Igbo legislator sponsored the bill to abolished State of Origin
in place of State of Residence.

Until the entire South unanimously agree on true federalism, the Fulani subjugation and conquering will continue to fester
I appreciate the perspectives you have here.

With the Governors and legislatures of former PDP States in the South of Nigeria now aligning with the APC, President 'Bola Tinubu MUST use this as the ultimate opportunity of a lifetime to ensure that these constitutional amendments sail through. The Ibo-speaking State Governors from Anambra to Enugu (which are both Ibo and Igala-speaking states) to Abia State where Alex Oti has been a long-time friend of 'Bola Tinubu to Imo and Ebonyi States which are both APC governed states, too seem aligned to the current President of Nigeria, the Middle Belt too is aligning with APC by the surprising moves by many Southern Kaduna PDP legislators to APC which was fiercely resisted when Nasir El-Rufai was the Governor shows that this constitutional amendment will sail through.

I wish President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can see the videos of the angry indigenous male and female Hausas that I have seen online and even downloaded complaining bitterly but with confidence about the minority Fulani domination of their lands, then he will know how URGENT this is. No minority group should ever dominate a majority ethnic group like the Hausas right in 2025... This must end.

I wasn't happy with the poorly-written press statement from Mr. Bayo Onanuga two days ago over the Benue killings. It was a very bad miscommunication with President Tinubu saying there should be dialogue. Dialogue with known foreign Fulani terror militias who aren't Nigerians OR indigenous to Benue State, Plateau State OR Zamfara State? It was very obvious that Tinubu was NOT properly briefed by the NSA who is a Fulani himself or even the Governor of Benue on the true situation on the ground before making that statement. So, Tinubu going to Benue State tomorrow and ALSO him being CLEARLY told the truth about the foreign Fulani bandits invasions of several Nigerian communities for years and dislocating Hausas, Benue Tiv folks, Plateau, Kaduna, Zamfara and other communities' indigenous people is the FIRST step towards earning the respect of folks like me and others who have ALWAYS respected 'Bola Ahmed Tinubu, 'Bayo Onanuga, an investigative veteran journalist, Prof. 'Wole Soyinka, and other pro-democracy activists from around Nigeria such as Uni students, lawyers, doctors for their grand sacrifices for democratic ideals during the corrupt military rule of the 1990s. As a Diasporan, the last time I ever voted in Nigeria was on June 12, 1993, and I affirm that true democratic ideals must be sustained because that's way BETTER than the corrupt military rule which deprives people of freedom which some of these paid ipob troll farms, the younger ones and tribal bigots don't realize.

The progressive politicians MUST NOT fail with this "once in a lifetime" opportunity to tame the inneficiences in Nigeria in order for Nigeria to leapfrog into economic, political and technological sustainability. A second 4-year term is FULLY guaranteed without resistance from many Nigerians (Hausa, Benue, Plateau, Zamfara, Southern Kaduna, etc) if these urgent constitutional reformations are achieved, otherwise people will continue to LARGELY blame ONLY 'Bola Tinubu for all these foreign Fulani bandits killing innocent indigenous Nigerians from the far North, Middle Belt and the Southern Nigeria states.

Executive order are different from Constitutional matter, presently, Security is solely in the Exclusive list which implies it's only the Federal government that has power to legislate over issue concerning security.

It will take 2/3 of the Nass to pass and assented by the president before it can be altered.

Presently the legislature has not done anything regarding that
Well said.

They have to hit the ground running from this month and do that fast. Enough of the embarrassing inneficiences in the Nigerian ecosystem and especially the relentless killings of indigenous Nigerians by the foreign Fulani herders and bandits over the decades who are being protected for years now by their kinsmen in Nigeria from judicial prosecution. The case of Nasir El-Rufai's horrendous behavior as the Kaduna State Governor comes to mind when in a 2017 interview on Channels Television which is still on the Internet, he CLEARLY stated that he gave financial compensations to the foreign Fulani herders and militia from Cameroon who came right into Nigeria to kill indigenous Nigerians of Southern Kaduna area.
He was able to trace them through the Miyetti Allah network (over 95% of Miyetti Allah members are foreign Fulanis not local ones because over 90% of cattle sold in Nigeria come from foreign Fulanis in Niger Republic, Mali, Guinea, Mauritania, etc).

Instead of using the Interpol to get them arrested to face justice, this Fulani man (who told Channels Television that his Fulani ancestor originally migrated from Guinea to Nigeria after the so-called Jihad) betrayed the people of Kaduna and Nigeria by fueling the herders and bandits crisis. Now Nasir is running around with his fellow Fula kinsmen (such as Atiku Abubakar of Fula Cameroon origin, the Baba Ahmeds who are originally from migrant Mauritania Fulani origin) leading a coalition to unseat Tinubu. They are desperate to gain political power back using the unsuspecting Peter Obi. Imagine the audacity!
