I am indeed humbled by this feat by NLers. It is an inspiration. Let's keep the spirit soaring, it is only we as Nigerians that can make things happen not our leaders. The level of maturity shown while this happens is sure applaudable. It shows that all our e-fights (personality hatings, tribal sentiments, gender bashing, perceived inferiority complexes, etc) are mere frivolities, they are not deep. We stood above all these, we put aside our differences and pull our emotions and resources together to BECOME THE CHANGE. There is HOPE. God will not let each and everyone of us down. My opinion: I am in support of apology to this family and a link for the news agency to read more on this development. I feel if they () can publish this development, the site will sure pull some more traffic, hence interest by new and old members to contribute to effect change. |
Damn cool! I shall be there. No story |
Liverpool rocks, They will never walk alone |
It was an industrial accident. I heard a welder was working on the ship. That is why it is expedient and imperative to put all safety measures in place before embarking on this sort of job especially where there are perceived gas/inflammable substances. The situation was put under control, hence it would have been another nightmare in Lagos |
Liverpool deserved the winner. they were a better team from the start to finish |
freepeople:Omo, where did you get this pic of suwe in ndlea detention? scanning, NONE in cap |
Rumour has it that 190 is the same as 190_@ and 190smh. he is now a pastor and married to a nigerian girl |
Was that award for patriotism and nationalism? Methinks the awards were for recognition and appreciation for 'helping me win the last presidential election'. |
The only way to overhaul the nig police is to invite all the police members to a money sharing meeting (with this sort of invitation all of them are sure to attend) and take all of them 6ft down, then start all afresh in recruiting people to the force. With the kid glove treatments and lip services to addressing the menace of this force to the taxpayers, i doubt if change is forthcoming. the rampage continues |
mekaboy: guy that will make you sleepy thru out the day |
Indomie noodles to the rescue, that's preamble |
Lawyers what is their work? are they not like Nigerian Police. calling black white even when black can never be changed to white. in fact the three professions reek of dishonesty, fraud and lies |
Liverpool all the way 4 nil in favour of Liverpool |
Accountant. Lawyers are lawless |
PointB:Guy, I trust you won't be shocked if you see your name on the list. This govt can not be taken seriously. Publish names? when they and their cohorts are the culprits. if they eventually do, i bet you won't see any familiar name |
A step in the right direction. I pray it is not one of those lip statements typical of this present govt. If it is anything to go by, I am afraid prosecution and conviction of those good for nothing retarded politicians will be rare now. I wish EFCC and ICPC could could also step up their game. |
GEJ: He has never been a functional and proactive leader since when he was the deputy gov of bayelsa. He had no antecedent whatsover, and his facade illation preceded his integrity. Shamelessly, some people were lost in their tribal sentiments and won the day for him at the last poll, yet we are paying the price, Fresh Air indeed. |
Money and power change people. Nigerian journalist are like politicians. they always play to the gallery of the politicians. I had long withdrawn my respect for him, same with Dora Akunyili. Liberation will come for the people when the people stand-tall against the govt, and not relying on person(s) who seek their self-glorification. |
If a nod was given to this, the country would have changed by force. The president would not be taking us for a ride. revolution would have pushed him aside if not given him the gift of a grave. |
Ileke-IdI: careytommy: Okija_juju:We are winning a silence war, GEJ on bokoharam rampage geez, una want breeeeak my head with lafter. This is serious. It is laffsaster. Pls, let's move to joke section. |
:oI like this thread. Posterity will sure judge them. I'll be back with weirdest/dumbest comments from our dumb leaders |
aloy@emeka:troublem in the offing. Op, for the benefit of those who dont know okafor's law, pls, do well to state the law. imo, law is apt in relationships, |
The President's advisers goof. they are just fooling around. We are sure to see more of their gaffes. |
julioralph:WTF. a century of being there without achieving anything? Not even an inspiring captain to say the least. He is been the bane of uninspiring outing for super eagles recently. He does not deserve any award. He is not an inspiration to younger Nigerians |
With all honesty, I will reject the award under the present govt. Nothing worths the award. That will be another reuben abati in the making. |
careytommy:Good thought Mr caretyommy. I was interested in the thread when I read the subject on the frontpage. I wanted to hear of landmark achievements brought to her descendants through her transcendency to the royal position in UK. Has she ever looked back seeking to influence her origin? I am quite sure, she won't ever accept being a Nigerian ever again. However, the history is worth reckoning. |
Oriental Hotel should be closed to a 5-star world class standard |
Even before the power imbroglio, Transcorp Hilton was never a 5-star, it is apt to say a 5-star hotel with African standard. not world class |
