I stopped taking SaharaReporters & WazobiaReporters seriously. Until this is confirmed, I reserve my comments for now. |
This thread is absurd. You claimed to be a pastor, why should you bother when criticized and insulted. Religion has dragged Nigeria into an avoidable quagmire. Most Nigerians are so engrossed and obsessed with pastors that they don't even remember GOD is the only supreme being, rather they idolized and see pastors as gods. What make you think as a xtian that your pastor or self-acclaimed-god or GO (general overseer) is better than you? Allow GOD to judge HIS people but not pastors' followers. Come to think of it, is criticizing a pastor worst than hatred and selfishness? It embarrasses me to learn on this thread (reek of hypocrisy) that most people actually believe a forum (like NL) could foster common believes/opinions from people of diverse backgrounds, education, believes and goal. Personally, if I am not comfortable with a thread, I leave the thread. What is a virgin doing in the maternity ward. Pls, get a life!!!!! |
jtkoko9:Haba! very simple. . .remember tuface is a man. Its apt to say he is a manoniser (women woo and okada him) |
nakedwire:Oil and gas and leadership have been the bane of Nigeria. |
ismhab:Guy, the world is too big to continue to attach yourself to Nigeria. Why not move to another country and let Nigeria be. There is nothing wrong with Nigeria as a country, but her people mismanage her. |
This claim is absolute incredulous and ludicrous. |
REPORT has it that, there is a rumoured plan by Boko Haram to bomb the national headquarters of the Nigeria Labour Congress. It was learnt that the sect, which claimed responsibility for the bombings that killed at least 200 persons in Kano on Friday, are aggrieved that the NLC acceded to the N97 pump price proposed by the government. The threat was said to have been conveyed to the leadership of the NLC in a mail, which has been handed over to security operatives for investigation. A source said the leadership of the NLC decided to report the matter to the security agencies to look into the issue because they did not want to make it an issue for public discourse. AGAIN, CAN WE AFFORD TO PLAY DOWN ON THE THREAT OF THIS DREADED GROUP TO NLC JUDGING BY WHAT HAVE BEEN HAPPENING, WHICH ULTIMATELY FORCED GEJ LED GOVT TO GIVE THE FMR IGP (RINGIM) A BOOT? |

Our leaders unintelligent is a stark embarrassment to an average Nigerian. Why wait to be sacked when your competencies are grossly in doubt by the general public. Resignation is the only honourable thing to do in the face of profound loss of credibility on our leadership. Why glossed over the needful and wait for the axe? |

Ttola:Where am I? how come I have not watched any of the above movies? I expected to see Channing Tantum on the list of nominees for best actors. He is great actor. Any way, those nominated are deserving. |
Missy_B:Ms B, pls dont get me wrong. Believe me, you are prettier than kefee. I wish you could understand my position. Hwever, I give my vote to you cos' you are one of my NL favs |
Nice one thinkerboy. I enjoyed the vid |
Provided there's pocket for boys, to hell with query before payment |
Awesome! Power of money. Poverty indeed kills faster than AIDS. |
Kefee's kitchen will sure pull a lot of beautiful female guests (not mincing words) cos' of her persona. My motivation to visit kefee's more often than Ms B is my conviction on killing two birds with one stone. Not to worry Ms B, your delicious dishes might change my mind. |
Okija_juju:The aspirations and struggle of SNG has gone beyond political & party maneuvering. The SNG opposition to the day's govt is worthwhile. The youths before now were docile and I must say SNG has been a HUGE inspirations to the youths. A day of reckoning will soon come. |
humblebee:Quite revealing. Thanks for the info. |
I got the sms from MTN to register for MobileMoney service. I was not keen on jumping into the bandwagon just yet considering MTN self-lampooned service image. Until there is a relative improvement on their online customer care, I would not dare risk it. |
The truth is staring in our faces. It can never be ignored. A primary school student who study elementary economics would have predicted a correlative inflation with fuel subsidy removal. It's a smack of ignorance and unintelligent to hear the govt saying the pangs of the subsidy removal will be felt for a short time. Have things ever improved in Nigeria? Have prices of things ever dropped for the masses even when govt is living in opulence? Billions of Naira is said to be wasted on electricity yet it is still a mirage. Nigerians would have leveraged on electricity has an infrastructure. Late president yar'adua tried to convince the people that fuel could be bought at less than N70 contrary to the popular believed of the same govt. NOTHING ever changed for better in Nigeria. The govt has raped the people's trust. They should stop this cajoling, their competencies have been serious lampooned. |
I very strongly disagree. This is exactly when we are supposed to turn on the heat. I do not see why a man should steal 5billion and be simply asked to refund it, while petty thieves die gruesome deaths with necklaces of burning tyres. This is exactly when our voices should be rising to a crescendo to strangle the bastar'ds that have defrauded the country. Lets drop despondency for once and demand justice and punishment for crimes. If Ifeanyi Uba, or anybody else for that matter, is a thief, lets get them dealt with. 100+ It is embarassingly disheartening that we are only known for probes but not punishment even when the alleged suspect (in high places) has been found undisputably guilty of the act. I bet this too will pass unheard of. As for Alison Maduekwe, I hate hearing that name in the corridor of government with all the alleged corruption charges to her name (yet govt looks the other way). The last I checked she was still walking tall daring anybody with the ball. A day of reckoning is closing in on them. |
Unarguably, Religion has been man's greatest invention. Religion predates electricity. People then believed life was fab (without |
Parnassuss:Hey dude, I DONT idolize people irrespective of your extraordinaire (it does not make you a god). N65 reversal was not too much to ask from an insensitive govt. NLC/TUC should have stood their ground in order to achieve their aim after all Nigerians were stoutly behind them. You could feel the pangs of disappointment and despair (as if their lives depended on that) when the protest was called off by organised labour yet the mission was not accomplished. Nigerians deserve better deals even with subsidy or no subsidy. It is high time we stood our ground until our demands are met. It is time we started saying 'NO' and mean it if we are to effect change. This is our country. |
maki: freecocoa:We are on the same page. bolded, I used to be alergic to dirty words, how time has changed |
Wow! quite inspiring. I see CHANGE. I see hope for generations yet to come. I salute the courage and sacrifice exuded by Nigerians while the strike lasted even as there were betrayed by labour/tuc leaders. A new Nigeria is what we are peacefully agitating for. We are ready to take our destiny in our hands. |
matty1024:sounds weird, I have a friend who drink garri with agege bread<<<<so disgusting to me>>>> Groundnut or coconut is a fantastic combination. I love it with coconut xanadu333:Lol, the rate of drinking garri will be low now. subsidy has been removed in virtually all commodities, including sachet pure water and garri. |
It is a hoax. Damn! nobody to believe again in Nigeria. Govt liars, people liars, we are on a real long thing. |
