It is unconvincing if there was anything like subsidy in the first place. If there was Nigerians had no business buying fuel at 50naira/per litre. The litany of fuel subsidy to better the lot of Nigerians is another ploy by govt at taxing the little rays of sunshine out of Nigerians. They need the citizens to unknowingly fund their extravagancy (corruption) after depleting the treasury during the last elections brouhaha. There was NEVER any subsidy. |

There is no lead time to fight corruption. It will be spontaneous. An event will trigger that. It can happen tonite. The time is not ripe. No scientist or prophet ever foretold a mere street hawker would trigger a revolution that would topple the most powerful govt in Tunisia. A day of reckoning will soon come in Nigeria. People should not be deceived that Nigerians are too docile, too weak, too compromising to revolt, else you will be stranded at the cross road. |

They were laffing at the sensational ineptitudes of their oga. They fooled him into believing that the economy would collapse if fuel subsidy is not removed. They were also quick to convince him that the economy will boom if corruption stays. The oga was too was obsessed with subsidy removal cos of his long run personal gain; he refused to realise that if corruption is frowned at, financial wastages are cut down and overbloated salaries of public officials are reduced (as fuel subsidy removal obviously will harm the economy as well) the economy would be stimulated? The oga does not need a prophet or prophetess to tell him he has rocked the boat. I dey laugh too |

Prof Utomi spoke well. However, those points are obvious even to the man on the street. Nigeria has become and has been run as a company; no longer a country by a few jackass. Even a comrade who goes into politics, what comes to his friend's minds is: as soon as he is voted in, he is sure to give me contracts. Few thinks beyond that. Embarrasingly, that's just the mind set of some of us. Few dare to ask and mean it: Will he make impact in the life of the people? The situation leaves much to be desired. We are in dire need of change. This change cannot be brought about by our 'sidon look' attitude, we need to be holistically organised. We need to rise about our differences - tribe, culture, religion, background and personality. We need this change now. |

this is sure presidential ineptitude. Govt feels people are happy about the so-called free education to bomb victim's families? Automatic jobs and money to the families of slained corpers? Geez!!!!!!!!! These speak volume of the present govt. It means the problems can never be addressed, this has been reechoed by the president in his speech on the xmas day bombing: “THE ISSUE OF BOMBING IS ONE OF THE BURDENS WE MUST LIVE WITH. IT WILL NOT LAST FOREVER! GEJ has never deserved my respect. He would only earned my respect if he resigns due to gross incompetencies and helps in the impending revolution & evolution of this great country. |

Accept and play to their gallery as friends do to friends you will live to regret your life. these evils call npf have done untold sinister things. incredibly, they responded to a neighbour's emergency call to quell a situation after my neighbour had paid them 7k after much pleading for a reduction from 10k. my neighbour had rushed to their shack to invite them to come and arrest a domestic altercation that turned fatal due to their ineptitude and self-claimed-demigod attitude. two neighbours (families) had an embarrasing misunderstanding. both disputing families had to employ any available weapons to tackle the situation, by the time the police got there two men were axed down. the guy (the neighbour who scampered to their station to invite them) got there before the issue gathered dust. negotiation on their fee was the issue that took forever b4 they agreed to follow him when he was able to pay N7k. consequent upon this, do you still agree these monsters are friends? are they working for tax payers who their poor self?. forget them, we dont ve a police force only glorified and recognised criminals |

Cheaper, even with guarantee. Some of our so-called musicians/artists would never be heard of if not for road sides CDs/DVDs. They market them as well. Original CDs can never get them the much desired popularity. |

Rubbish! I bet this woman is as good as not getting arrested. Even if she knows the activities of the husband, what gives the sss the impetus that she would betray the husband? If it was that simple to get to terrorist leaders through the wives, USA would have arrested Osama Bin Laden's wife just after 9/11 massacre.
