Before now when you have a UK,US, Canada and Shengen visa you dont need. But now that all has been cancelled you may need to ask Turkish Airlines to confirm that.

Do you have the necessary documents to overturn that decision through AR?

If not then there is no need to pursue that route, AR can take months sometimes (between 3-6months)

A new application might be advisable.

Ensure you address the reason for refusal adequately before reapplying



Thank you dduchess90,let me give u details,one of the dependents was approved on 13th dec, and visa has been issued, only for this morning they sent a denial mail agn for the dependent that has been issued and the one that has not been issued citing the sole custody as the reason. the sole custody was sent after NSF, although we sent wrong document at first, then later sent the court order some days after. it as after that one of the dependent was issued brp and visa..

pls advise what can be done

You have already sent his passport so not sure what advise you need.
Whether it is enough will depend on the ECO

You could have

1.Included your divorce letter clearly stating joint parental responsibility and child care arrangements

2. A letter plus passport from the father stating his consent and travel arrangements plans to ensure he keeps up with his end of parental responsibility

3. Your cover letter explaining the situation so it's clear what the arrangements are

4. Additional documents from perhaprs the court stating this arrangement is feasible- Almost like an affidavit but signed by a proper Judge or someone in that capacity

5.Letters from your dependant previous school or hospital attesting to same arrangements.

The list is inexhaustible

1. Divorce documents stating child arrangements (including sole custody if that's the case)
2. If not sole custody then perhaps letter of consent from their father plus relevant ID

3. Prove of relationship (birth certificate),pictures etc some may include letter from kids school and hospital




4. Her documents (if she goes first)

To your specific questions

1. Yes with letter of consent from her saying he is bringing them, attach relevant ID
2. No, most not all sole custodies usually come with visiting rights for the father.Her letter of consent should explain who she is, who he is, why she can't bring them herself and consent that she is happy for him to bring them, think of it from an angle of safety and trust

If it gets too complicated please talk to a proper lawyer

2. Can her ex who is a US citizen be allowed to bring those kids in after she might have resumed over there?

3. Wouldn't the sole custody order (if submitted ) have implication on the ability of the father to bring the kids in (if she claimed sole custody)?
